Lizzie says yes to Gordo right away. After Lizzie is grounded for 3 in a half weeks, her parents decide to let her off the hook early, because she has been doing a great job with doing all of her chores before anything else and not arguing with Matt. Lizzie calls Gordo and asks him if he wants to go to a movie and then roller skating.
"Sure. I'd love to go." Gordo replies. "Great! Let me ask my mom if she can drive us." Lizzie says. Lizzie puts the phone down for a few minutes while she asks her mother. Her mom says that it would be all right for her to drive them to the theatre and back from the skating rink, but she cannot take them to the skating rink from the theatre. Lizzie tells Gordo this and he asks his parents to pick them up at the theatre and take them to the rink. They ok the plan, and soon, everthing's settled.

Lizzie: Mom, will you help me pick out a cute, but casual look for my date with Gordo tonight?
Mrs.McGuire: Sure, sweety. How about this blue shirt with the sequins under this blue-green jacket and these white pants?
Lizzie: Mom, that is so perFECT!
Mrs.McGuire: No, I meant for me to wear to bowling tonight.
Lizzie: Really?
Mrs.McGuire: No, not really! I don't think that would look good with my PINK LADIES jacket, do you?
Lizzie: Funny, mom.
