Anyways on with the chapter!
It's been a week since the Dino Rangers teamed up with the SPD A-Squad Rangers and only one major thing has happened since then.
Elizabeth Grayson admits that Mesogog had her spying on the Rangers as Principle Randall, this surprises them but they forgive her.
However, Elizabeth also informs them that Mesogog has been working on a transfiguration beam that can transform all the people of Earth into creatures like Mesogog.
Trent, wanting to save his father, agrees to spy on Mesogog for the team.
This is where the final battle begins.
In Mesogog's lair we see that Mesogog has successfully separated himself from Anton Mercer, who is trapped on a contraption that is spinning.
"Separating yourself from Anton Mercer was an excellent idea." Says Caroline
"Agreed." Mesogog says his voice more monstrous than before. He then goes to a control panel and pushes a button that opens up the ceiling of the lair and reveals the transfiguration beam.
"Soon the transfiguration beam will be complete.
"But will you have enough energy to power it sir?" Questions Pierre.
"I will once I get the Dino-Gems." Mesogog says.
Little do they realize that Trent is spying on them.
Meanwhile Conner, Ethan, Kira, Krista, Tiernan, Tyson and Rocky are at Haileys Cybercafe discussing what they're going to do for prom.
Conner and Krista are going together so are Trent and Kira. Ethan decided he wouldn't be attending prom since he thinks he won't be able to get a date.
"That reminds me are Dr.O and Kimberly going to be there? Asks Conner.
"Well Dr.O will be there since he's a teacher. Kimberly, I'm not sure." Rocky admits
That's when Devin comes over.
"Hey Conner, can I talk to you. Alone?" Devin asks.
Conner agrees and walks off with Devin.
"What's up Devon?" Conner asks.
"Uh, I need some advice." Devin says cryptically.
"What kind of advice?" Conner asks
"Well, I'm trying to get a date for Prom." Devin admits.
"Cool, I know a few girls who might be willing to go with you." Conner says
"A-actually, there's this one girl I'd like to ask. I need help figuring out how to ask her." Devin admits.
Conner then proceeds to give Devin advice on asking the girl he likes out.
Back at the Dino base we see Dr.O, Kimberly, Tyrone, Smitty, Garret, Elizabeth, Demiyah, Denki, Hailey and Takuya working on a special weapon for the Triceramax Command Truck that can destroy Mesogog's base once and for all.
"Do you think it will work?" Asks Dr.O
"It will work, the only problem will be getting the Command Truck through an invisi-portal that can support this much mass." Says Hailey.
"She's right. We'll need an invisible-portal that works at a specific frequency and latitude for it to work." Admits Demiyah.
"Once we get this working, we can destroy Mesogog's lair once and for all." Dr.O says.
Back in Mesogog's lair we see that the laser is complete.
"Now that the laser is complete all I need is to power it with the Dino-gems." Says Mesogog.
"How will you get them sir?" Questions Pierre.
"An excellent question."
That's when Trent comes out of hiding.
"Where is my father Mesogog?" Demands Trent as Caroline and Pierre surround him.
"Lets just say, he's in storage." Mesgog says darkly.
That's when Trent comes up with a risky plan.
"If you release my father, I'll give you the Dino-gems." Trent says
Mesogog thinks it over before coming up with an answer.
"Deal."
With that Trent left, leaving Mesogog, Caroline and Pierre to continue planning.
A little while later Dr.O alerts the team to the fact that Zeltrax was back.
After presumably destroying him, the Rangers head back to base, unaware they are being followed.
Trent then tells the others his plan to get them on to Mesogog's island fortress.
"I'll pretend to give him the Dino-gems and open an invisi-portal that we can send the Triceramax Command Truck through."
"Alright, but have Tiernan join you. We don't want to take too many unnecessary risks." Dr.O says as the group puts their Dino-gems into a briefcase with the DinoThunder symbol on it.
It was also decided that Garret and Elizabeth would stay at the base and watch over things.
With that the mission was a go.
A little while later we see Trent and Tiernan in Mesogog's base, handing over the Dino-gems.
"Excellent." Says Mesogog.
"What about my father?" Questions Trent, keeping the brief case with the Dino-gems inside away from him until his father is released.
Mesogog then knocks both Trent and Tiernan down with a blast of energy and takes the Dino-gems.
While Mesogog was distracted with using the Dino-gems to power his machine he failed to notice Trent sneaking over to the invisible-portal controls while Tiernan distracts Pierre and Caroline.
That's when the Triceramax Command Truck appears with the Rangers with Smitty and Hailey inside it.
"You did this!" Mesogog growls in anger.
"You should by now that you can't trust us." Trent says as he goes to help Tiernan.
After getting on to the island teh Dino Rangers and Smitty made an effiort to get to Mesogog's lair. Smitty transformed into Kamen Rider Frost while the Rangers used their Genetic Powers to fight.
"Guys, the laser's jammed." Hailey says over the communicator as some Tyranno-drones attacked the laser.
Demiyah and Conner look at each-other.
"On it." They says as they use their Super Speed to go after the Command Truck.
Once on the truck they fight off the Tyranno-drones on top of it and re-align the laser.
"Alright, now get out of there!" Hailey says, preparing to fire the laser.
"Got it!" Conner shouts as he grabs Demiyah and jumps off the top of the Command Truck as the laser fires at Mesogog's lair.
Inside Mesogog's lair we see the entire base coming down as Mesogog collapses and Caroline and Pierre retreat to somewhere else. They then grab the Dino-gems and put them back in the case.
"Trent, Tiernan, get out of there!" Kimberly says over the communicator.
"I'm not leaving without my father!" Trent says with Tiernan agreeing to help him.
Dr.O agrees and tells them to get out of there as soon as possible.
They then search the base frantically before coming across Anton and helping him up.
"Dad come one, lets go!" Trent shouts as he and Tiernan help carry him to an invisi-portal while fighting some Tyranno-drones.
A little while later the Command Truck exits an invisi-portal after Mesogog's lair was destroyed.
The Rangers, Hailey and Smitty quickly rush out of the Command Truck and search for any sign of Trent, Tiernan and Anton.
"They can't be gone!" Kira shouts as she looks for any sign of her boyfriend his clone/twin or Anton Mercer.
"It's not like they're just gonna fall out of the sky." Ethan says while looking up to see if they could get a repeat of the time Kira was captured by Mesogog.
"Were you hit on the head or something?" Kira asks in an annoyed tone.
"What? It worked last time!" Ethan defends.
That's when Anton, Trent and Tiernan fall through an invisi-portal.
The group rushes over to check on them, with Dr.O and Kimberly helping up Anton while the others assisted Trent and Tiernan.
"Tommy, Kimberly, I don't know where to begin." Anton says feeling awful for what happened.
"We'll talk later." Dr.O says.
"What about Mesogog?" Asks Denki
"I don't think he made it." Tiernan admits.
"But just to be on the safe side." Trent says as he opens the briefcase with all 12 Dino-gems inside.
"Come on, lets get back to the base." Dr.O says as the group gets in the Command Truck.
Little do the Rangers realize that Zeltrax is still alive and has destroyed the base and taken Elizabeth and Garret captive.
