Disclaimer: I own nothing except the idea,. Luna, Mr. Lovegood and butterbeer bottle corks are the sole property of JK Rowling

Daddy always told me it was the little things that matter. Actually it was our private little joke. Because you see it really was the "little things", all seven "little things" that hung from a leather cord around my neck (each one looking distinctly like the cork from a butterbeer bottle), that mattered. Each one something quite different from what it appeared to be

- one 17th century Stradivarius cello

- one 19th century Erard 46 strings mahogany concert harp

- one limited edition rose quartz Faberge Egg

- an antique jade bracelet dating back to the Ming Dynasty (Daddy brought it back from China for Mum for their 10th anniversary)

- one 15th century gold Celtic cross

- Mum's diamond and ruby wedding band

- and one rather large blue sapphire set in a diamond broach once belonging to Rowena Ravenclaw herself. Mum believed it had a curse placed on it. It was Mum's experiment to remove this curse that cased her death. Of course Daddy doesn't know this, otherwise he wouldn't have let me have it.

I am so glad Daddy was good at transfigurations and charms otherwise I would never have been able to bring all my most valued and valuable things with me to Hogwarts. No one ever takes my butterbeer necklace and if they tried it would always return itself to me immediately. Yes Daddy, it really is the little things that matter
