It has been 5 weeks since they battled Megatron and his Decepticons. Ever since then, it has quite and no Decepticon activity. Miko was relaxing on the couch. Jack and Rafael were playing some video games. Optimus and the rest of the team were busy with checking around for any Decepticons and looking for Energon. Miko was bored and wanted to do something fun and relaxing. She then saw Bulkhead and Acree coming back from patrol.
"Hey guys, how was patrol?" Miko asks.
"It was fine. Not a single Decepticon in sight." Bulkhead said to Miko.
"We did manage to bring back more Energon for ourselves." Arcee said.
Optimus Prime then arrived in the base after coming back from the town. He then transformed into his robot mode.
"Anything?" Optimus asked.
"No Decepticon activity." Ratchet reported.
"Good." Optimus said.
Rafael and Jack continued playing with Bumblebee watching them. Miko decided to ask if they could go on a vacation.
"Hey guys, since there haven't been any Decepticons, why don't we go on a vacation?" Miko suggested.
"A vacation?" Bulkhead said.
"Are you serious?" Arcee said.
"Please Miko, we're Autobots. We don't do vacations, plus we have work." Ratchet said to Miko.
"Oh, come on, I think it would be great for all of you. When's the last time you relaxed?" She said.
"She has a point." Ironhide said.
"You're not helping, Ironhide." Ratchet said.
"I actually would like to go on a vacation." Raf said joining in the conversation.
"Yeah, it would be great to relax." Jack said.
"Optimus, please talk some sense to them." Ratchet said to Optimus.
"I think a little vacation would be great for the kids and for us as well. After all, they have helped us with our battles so they deserve to have a little relaxation." Optimus said to them.
"All right!" Miko said while pumping her fists in the air.
"Fine." Ratchet said in defeat.
"Where were you thinking we could relax? It would have to be somewhere humans can see us." Bulkhead said to Miko.
"The beach." Miko answered.
"Okay. But which beach? There are over hundreds of beaches where humans are." Acree asked.
Miko then pull out her phone and showed a picture showing a beautiful beach.
"I was thinking maybe Whitecap Bay Beach." Miko said.
"What?!" Jack said.
Everyone looked at Jack in confusion Raf was also looking at Jack in confusion with why he was panicking.
"Are you crazy? Don't you know the rumors about that place?" Jack asked.
"What rumors?" Acree asks.
"They say that people disappear from visiting that place and never come back." Jack explained, "It's not haunted there, but those who go there, never come back."
"Why?" Ironhide asked.
"It's because of what's in the waters at the beach is why they disappear." Jack said.
"What's in the water?" Bulkhead asked.
"Two words: Mermaids and Sharklopians." He said.
"Mermaids and Sharklopians? I never heard of it?" Ratchet said.
Rafael got out an iTab and searched mermaids and sharklopians on the Internet.
"Mermaids are aquatic creatures with the upper body of a female human and with the tail of a fish. Mermaids are all females and are known for their beauty. They are also known for singing their siren songs putting sailors into trances and luring ships to crash into rocks." Raf explained. "As for Sharklopians, they are all males and the mates of mermaids. Sharklopians are strong and fast swimmers. Know for their aggression and hunger. However, like mermaids, they can rarely show kindness to humans on certain situations."
Rafael then brought and showed them a picture of a pictures.
"This is a mermaid."
"And this is a Sharklopian."
The Autobots saw this and were surprised to see and hear of such creatures that live in the sea.
"By the AllSpark." Ratchet said with amazement in his voice.
"Whoa, I didn't see that coming." Bulkhead said.
"What interesting creatures." Ironhide said.
"Well then we shouldn't go to Whitecap Bay Beach if there's this type of danger." Arcee said.
"Oh, come on, it will be fine. Besides if we do see them, you guys can fight them off." Miko said.
"Well, I guess we handled them if we do see them." Ironhide said.
"Besides, they can only survive in the water, they're weak on land. What do you say Optimus?" Bulkhead asks.
Everyone turn Optimus to see what his decision is. Optimus wants the kids to relax from helping them in their war, plus it would be interesting to see the ocean. If they did come in contact with these sea creatures, it would be interesting to study them.
"We will go on this beach and let the kids relax, if any of you see these mermaids and sharklopians, protect the kids." Optimus said.
The Autobots nod their heads and transforms into their alt modes. The kids then climbed into them and they drove into the groundbridge to Whitecap Bay Beach.
This story was an idea I had in my head for a while. I decided to use whitecap bay from Pirates of the Caribbean 4. It was the only beach I could think of. I hope you like it at least.
