Luz was doing some environment painting with Strix and King as witnesses. "When I first got here I thought everything was scary or stinky or both."

"And it is," said Strix.

"But I've learned to see the beauty and everything by getting outside and painting in nature."

King crawled on Luz's shoulder and pointed to something peculiar about the painting. "Who's that?"

"Oh, that's just some bushes that looked like a dark, mysterious figure, right?" But when she looked up from her painting, she didn't see anyone. "That's funny, wasn't there..." She shook her head. "Anyway, I..." She looked back at the painting and saw the dark figure even closer.

Strix was scared. "Luzer, can we go back inside, please?"

"Sometimes my imagination gets away from me," Luz said, though she was a little nervous. "Only paint what you see, Luz."

Then King saw something that horrified him. "L-Luz?"

The dark figure was holding a sign that said, "I'm behind you."

The kids and King looked behind them and screamed.

The kids and King hid in the garage with Selwyn with only a light spell glyph as their only source of...well, light. Luz said, trying to sound to be brave, "And you know, sometimes you can find beauty and grow as an artist from the safety of your own bed."

"So true," the dark figure said as he painted the scene.
