CHAPTER 4

THE GUARDIANS

At Golden Manor, not too long later, Melon walked out of the security room, naked as he walked to the restroom. He then looked in the mirror to see a new leopard spot forming on his fur on his chest.

"You're not giving up on haunting me, are you, bitch?" asked Melon and sighed.

He then walked back out and walked over to the window, looking through the blinds, seeing two black Mercedes-Benz sitting outside.

"How long have they been sitting out there?" asked Melon.

"Since you got here, sir." said the butler.

"AND YOU DECIDED NOT TO TELL ME!?" shouted Melon.

"Sir, you specifically said not to disturb you." said the butler.

"I TOLD YOU TO TELL ME IMPORTANT STUFF! shouted Melon. "Or perhaps you would like a repeat of last time..."

"Please, sir..." the butler said as he backed up while Melon walked slowly toward him. "I'm sorry, sir."

"I don't care what you are." said Melon. "You can be a faggot sucking my dick for all I care. You HAVE to learn..."

Quietly, a male swan in black hit him in the back of the head, knocking him unconscious.

Meanwhile, back at the hotel, Hikari and Yuki are kissing as they're having sex, Yuki on her back, Hikari ontop. Yuki's legs were locked around Hikari's waist as he thrusted into her.

"Mmm..." Hikari moaned.

Yuki disconnected.

"Ohhh..." she moaned. "Hikari... I... I'm... close..."

"Mmm... Do it..." said Hikari.

As Yuki orgasmed, Hikari pulled out and blew his load onto her groin. He then gently collapsed onto her, out of breath. They then smile at each other.

"That was fucking amazing." said Yuki.

Hikari chuckled.

"Is that so?" he asked.

"Mmhmm." said Yuki and kissed him.

Hogo-sha-gumi Headquarters.

In a room with a table, a bear in black forced a hooded Melon to sit in a chair. Melon heard the calm voice of a man in his late 40s to early 50s speak.

"He didn't see how to get here, did he?" asked the voice.

"No, sir." said the bear.

"Take it off." said the voice.

The bear removes the hood and on the other end of the table is an older Louis. He wore a black suit and glasses. His antlers were bigger than they were 20 years prior. His left hand is rested upon a black cane with a silver end. On that hand was a golden ring identical to Hikari's.

"Interesting attire you wear around the manor." said Louis.

"Well... I had just..." Melon began.

"Right." said Louis. "So what is your name?"

"For all you know, these ASSHOLES you employed beat the memory of my name out of me." said Melon.

"Name." said Louis. "I won't ask again."

Melon rolled his eyes.

"Melvin Colley." he said.

"Well, Mr. Colley." said Louis. "Do you have any idea who I am?"

"I take it I should?" asked Melon.

"It may help you to stay out of trouble." said Louis.

"Get on with it." said Melon.

"Your mother must not've taught you patience." said Louis.

Melon looked around the room as he thought to himself.

"I'm outnumbered." he thought. "There's only one of two ways this is going to go. Either I make an attempt on his life and they kill me, or I pretend to be normal and MAYBE walk out of here."

"Mother passed away when I was 9 years old." said Melon. "There was a great many things she didn't have the chance to teach me."

"I offer my sincerest apologies." said Louis.

"I don't want them." Melon thought to himself.

"My parents perished in a car crash when I was 3 years old." said Louis. "Had I been with them at with them at that time, I may have also perished."

"Thank you for the sentiment." said Melon. "I'm sorry for your loss."

"It was 47 years ago." said Louis. "Looking back on my past, the roads were dark, but the destination was illuminated. Had my parents survived, I may not have ever met my husband."

"Well... Congrats on you." said Melon.

"However..." began Louis. "I am not the reason you are here. What I wanna know is why you were talking to your butler the way you were. What is it you did 'last time'?"

"What?" asked Melon.

"You didn't honestly believe after being followed that we weren't listening, did you?" asked Louis.

Melon sighed.

"Listen..." he said. "I get a little cranky when the help does things wrong... I yell. I know I shouldn't do that, but sometimes, that's how you get results."

"Yelling... And that's somehow enough to frighten a person older than you." said Louis.

"He has sensitive ears." said Melon.

"I see." said Louis. "Then why were you concerned by our presence?"

"Well, for starters, there were uninvited guests at my home." said Melon. "How does anyone feel about that?"

"Hmm." said Louis. "I suggest not doing whatever makes you feel uncomfortable by our presence."

"Boss?" asked the bear.

Louis looked up at him for a brief moment.

"Come." said Louis.

The big husk of a bear walks up to Louis and whispers in his ear.

"I get this sense that I'm not leaving here alive." Melon thought. "Fuckin' beautiful."

"Is that so?" Louis asked the bear, who then nodded.

Louis then got up and walked to Melon.

"I'm going to be explicitly clear with you on two things." said Louis. "If we were to ever find out you had harmed someone, we have the resources. You will not even be safe in North America." he said and leaned down close to Melon's face. "But if you ever pull a weapon out around my son ever again, I will fucking kill you. You understand me?"

"Yes." said Melon.

Louis then leaned back up, back straight.

"You best hope we find nothing in your background." said Louis. "Boys. Take him back home and continue to monitor him."

"Yes, sir." said the bear.

On the ride back home, Melon was sitting in the back seat, blindfolded and sitting between two men that felt larger than him. He knew there were three men in the car, and suspected there was a fourth.

"I've gotta leave the country somehow..." Melon thought. "But how? There's no doubt eyes everywhere that'll be looking for me. I've... gotta start planning things... Now..."
