After months of hiatus, the radio station that formally brought audience Live with Leslie Willis is set to return. Leslie's former producer, John, takes the air.

"Good morning Metropolis. I am here to reintroduce you to this station. It has been a turbulent few months and I want to personally thank you for sticking with us. We are under new ownership and under the umbrella of GBS. And I would like to take this time now to introduce the new owner of GBS Mr. Alex Evell."

"Thank you John. Yes, ladies and gentlemen I have returned. I know I've ran into some issues in the last few years, but those situations have been very enlightening. This country needs to get back to honest journalism. That is why this time slot will be dedicated to a new show about facts. In fact, it will be called Just the Facts. And now, I'd like to introduce you to the new host of Just the Facts, G Gordan Godfrey."

"Well thank you for that introduction Mr. Evell. It is a privilege to work with a man of your caliber." Godfrey says.

"Likewise." Evell says.

"This show is called just the facts, so let's talk about facts. Like the fact that a Kryptonian just invaded our planet and tried to claim ownership of it. And yet you still have people out there saying things like, not all aliens are bad. Well take a look at what's going on in the world. These enhanced beings are growing by the day. Superman, The Flash, The Lantern guy, that nut in Gotham. I am begging you people to wake up! Do not idolize these creatures. Look at the doom they attract upon us regular folks." Godfrey says.

"Well, that is quite a way to make an introduction." Evell says.

The elevator at the Daily Planet opens up. Out walks a woman wearing white high heels, and a white skirt with a pink top. Her blonde hair is flowing and she has a good amount of make up on. She walks through the news room until she bumps into Clark.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for Perry White's office." She says to Clark.

"Oh its uh-" Clark begins.

"Kent, I see you've met our new gossip columnist. This is Cat Grant." Perry says, as he walks up behind Clark.

"Nice to meet you." Clark says, extending his hand.

"So you're Clark Kent. I've read your work." Cat says.

Lois sees Clark talking to this girl and hurries over.

"Hey Chief, who's this?" Lois asks.

"Lois this is Cat Grant, she's new here." Clark says.

"The famous Lois Lane." Cat says.

"Well, I don't know about famous." Lois says.

"Oh please, everyone talks about your Superman pieces. The question is, how close are you two?" Cat asks.

"Oh, I'm plenty happy with my man." Lois says, and she leans up against Clark and wraps his arm around her.

"Then maybe I should take my shot with big blue." Cat says.

"He won't go out with you." Lois says.

"Oh Lois, I can be very persuasive." Cat says, getting Lois agitated.

"Well I can see you're all getting acquainted, but let's get back to work people." Perry says, as he heads off.

"I think my desk is over there, see you two later." Cat says.

"I don't like her." Lois says.

"Oh Lois she seems harmless." Clark says.

"I think you mean she seems pretty." Lois retorts.

"What?" Clark asks.

"I saw the way you looked at her." Lois says.

"Hey Lois listen, I'm with you, and only you." Clark says, as he leans in for a kiss.

"Oh Clark, could you show me how this computer system works?" Cat asks as she drags Clark away.

"Woah, who's the babe?" Jimmy asks as he walks up next to Lois.

"Shut up Jimmy." Lois says, as she storms off.

The day begins to wind down and Perry is getting ready to leave. He walks by Cat's desk and sees her still busy at work.

"Ms. Grant, what are you working so hard on?" Perry asks.

"I was just putting together an expose on Superman's love life." Cat says.

"I wasn't aware he had one." Perry says.

"Well that's just it. He's so squeaky clean, but everyone has to have someone special, right?" Cat says.

"I suppose so." Perry says.

"And if not, perhaps I could fill that gap for him." Cat says.

"Very well, continue your work, I'll see you in the morning." Perry says.

Lois stares at Cat. If she had heat vision, it'd be working overtime right now.

"Hey Lois, you want to come over for dinner tonight?" Clark asks, breaking Lois's concentration.

"Huh, uh oh what, um I don't know Clark." Lois says.

"Why not?" Clark asks.

"I'm not feeling very hungry, I just need to go home and lie down." Lois says.

"Are you sick, do you want me to come over?" Clark asks.

"No Clark, I just want to be alone tonight." Lois says.

"Well um- oh- okay." Clark says.

Later that evening, Clark is at home preparing himself dinner. He is cutting a tomato when suddenly he hears something.

"Help!" A voice yells out, as Clark speeds off.

Superman flies high above the city, in the direction he heard the cry for help. He lands on a roof top where he was sure the sound was emanating from.

"Well, you are fast." A voice says behind him.

Out of the shadows steps Cat Grant wearing a tight slinky dress.

"Miss Grant?!" Superman says in surprise.

"And you know who I am? My am I flattered."

"I had seen your work at the Daily Star." Superman says, trying to think on his feet.

"Curious, I spent such little time there. But I'm glad I could leave am impression on you." Cat says.

"Did you call for help?" Superman asks.

"I did. I want you Superman. I need you." Cat says.

"What do you mean?" Superman asks.

"I think you know what I mean." Cat says.

"Miss Grant, I've sworn myself to protecting those who actually need help, I don't appreciate crank calls like this." Superman says.

"Oh come on. You can take one night off. When's it your turn to have some fun?" Cat asks.

"I'm fine Miss Grant." Superman says.

"Yes, you are." Cat says.

"If there's no trouble I have to go." Superman says.

"But wait." Cat says as Superman begins to fly off.

"What?" Superman asks.

"I'm sure being Superman has to be quite tense. I was just hoping I could relieve some of that tension. You must get very lonely." Cat says.

"I have someone very special to me." Superman says.

"Who." Cat asks.

"I'm sorry Miss Grant I want to protect her." Superman says.

"I don't understand. I would assume Superman and the women he loves would be something you'd love to public to see." Cat says.

"I have a lot of enemies Miss Grant. I'd never want one of them to get to me by getting to those I'm close to." Superman says.

"I- I guess I never thought of that." Cat says, taking genuine pause.

"Good night Miss Grant." Superman says.

"Good night." Cat says back, as she watches Superman fly off.

Lois lays in a deep bubble bath in her house. There is a knock at her door. Lois gets up from her bath and puts on her robe, very annoyed. She opens the door and sees Clark standing there.

"Hi." Clark says.

"Hi." Lois says back.

"Lois are you okay?" Clark asks.

"Clark it's just that I was-

"You were what Lois? Talk to me." Clark says.

"Jealous! Okay I was jealous. I'm not good at relationships Clark, that's why I spend so much time avoiding them." Lois says.

"Lois, I understand. Superman just met with Cat Grant." Clark says.

"And what did they talk about?" Lois asks.

"She did try to make advances, but I stopped her. I told her Superman already has someone very special in his life. It's you Lois. I'm in love with you." Clark says.

"I love you too Clark." Lois says, for the first time.

"Then trust me, no one is going to take me away from you." Clark says as he approaches Lois for a hug and the two embrace.

The next day at the Daily Planet, Perry enters the newsroom to check on Cat.

"Miss Grant, how is that story coming." Perry asks.

"Actually, I dropped it." Cat says.

"Oh?!" Perry says in shock.

"I just don't have anything there. But I have intel on Alex Evell being spotted with a twenty-something girl." Cat says.

"Well there's something to follow." Perry says, as he walks off.

"Hey you two love birds, back to work." Perry says as he walks by Lois and Clark hovering in the room.

"On it Chief." Lois says with a smile.
