Emily had called Dom to discuss her absence on panels for Wynonna Earp. Dom was not under contract and did not have to do any if she didn't want to. However, Emily was trying hard to get a Season 5, she was disappointed that Dom wouldn't be open to all panels. Emily loved Dom and understood what really had happened on set and what happened with Kat. Emily also knew Dom was sweet and she never did anything to intentionally hurt anyone. But if a Season 5 was to happen, then she needed Dom on board.
Emily's perspective
Dom allowed Emily to finish her speech. Emily expressed to her, her disappointment in her absences and lack of interest. Dom was an emotional person and told Emily that she was sorry that she felt like she had let them all down. Dom said, "Emily, I love her. I can't anymore, I'm so so sorry. I just can't see her anymore."
Emily understood that this was all about Kat again. Upset Emily decided to called Mel. Season 5 would never be if Dom and Kat did not deal with their issues. Mel wasn't to sure anything could ever be done.
Days later, Dom felt like she had let Emily down. This woman had changed her life and she couldn't do this to Emily. Dom called Emily and promised her that she would do a few panels but never with Kat. The last panel she did with Kat and Emily were part of her contract. She was no longer on contract and had no need to put herself through that emotional-turmoil again. Emily understood the pain Dom was in.
Breaking it off with Stacy, Dominique realized that she was being unfair to her if she still had feelings for Kat. After Kat came to find her, and seeing her again Dom knew that her feelings were still there. This wasn't fair to Stacey, she deserved better.
After a deep depression, Dom began to travel again through Canada. Dom finally made her way home to Toronto. She had purchased a home there a few years back. Her housemate had told her about Kat coming by to look for her a few months before their encounter in Vancouver. Being home felt safe, she knew no one would look for her there anymore being that she had lost touch with everyone Wynonna Earp. After a few months, the Wynonna Earp Crew all stopped texting and calling, they must of got the hint that she had moved on. Dom felt secure at home in Toronto.
One evening when Dom was drinking alone in her backyard, Kat walked thru her back gate. In shock, Dom watched as Kat approached her and fell into her arms without saying a single word. As Kat's tears streamed down Dom's bare neck, Dom just held her. Concerned, Dom asked Kat, if she was okay. "How... did you even know I was home." Kat just continued to sobbed into her neck. After a few minutes, Dom got Kat to sit down next to her on the deck, Dom held her hand as she waited for Kat to calm down. Looking at the stars in the sky, and not knowing what to say or do, Dom softly wiped away the tears from her cheek. No matter what had happened between them, Dom loved Kat.
That is when Kat moved into kiss Dom on the lips. Kissing was something that they both easily fell into. Dom stopped it from going further as she said, "Kat, we can't." As Dom stood up, Kat did too. Kat said, "Please Dom don't walk away. I ...don't know what to do, I can't stop thinking about you. I need you in my life. Please."
Dom was stunned at Kat's confession. Kat approached her again and pushed her up against the wall of the house and kissed her passionately. Dom felt weak in the knees as Kat pressed her body against hers. Pushing her tongue into her mouth, Kat placed her hands over Dom's breasts, as she continued to kiss her. The throbbing between Dom legs grew stronger and stronger with each touch and kiss, Dom did not even notice that Kat had ran her hands down to unbutton her pants. Before Dom knew it, Kat was buried deep inside of her, and had began pumping in and out of her. Dom tried to keep her footing against the house as she lost all sense of reality. Then it happened, she orgasmed into Kat's hand. Holding Dom close as she came down from her orgasm, Kat placed soft kisses on her neck.
No matter how many times Dom had sex with other people, it was nothing in comparison to having sex with Kat. This was different, she felt different. When she came to her senses, Dom turned away from Kat as she worked nervously to zip up her pants. She could not believe that this had happened between them. She could not believe she let this happen. Gently grabbing Dom's arm, Kat apologized to Dom once she noticed something was off with her. "Dom, are you okay? Did I hurt you?"
Turning away from Kat once again and not looking at her in the eyes, Dom said nervously, "yeah, I'm okay. I'm just really confused." Kat was confused too. Kat said, "Can we talk?" After a few seconds, Dom told Kat that she was really tired. She told Kat that she needed sometime to think, and that now wasn't a good time for them to talk. Kat sadly knotted her head and left Dom's house.
