We had sex. Kat was confused, she had gone directly home. Ray was away in NYC filming some new detective show. She gotten into the shower and began to try to wash Dom off of her. As the hot water ran down her body, Kat thought back to the feeling of being buried deep inside of Dominique and her moans getting louder and louder as she thrust into her. Then it happened, Dom's walls clutched down onto her fingers as Dom orgasmed into her.
Kat couldn't sleep at all, she was still upset in how things ended that night between them. Kat looked at her cell phone, Dom had not called or texted. Kat couldn't take much more, so she texted Dom.
Kat to Dom:
Hey, you awake? Can we talk? I really need to talk to you Dom, Please.
After a few minutes, Dom texted her back.
Dom to Kat:
Kat, I'm afraid of what you want to say. I am so confused by you and especially by what happened tonight. Kat, you're married. We both know that whatever this is can never be. Please, you need to stop this.

Kat was devastated, she never thought things would end up this way. How could she have fallen in love with Dom.
Over a year later, Kat and Ray started trying to have a baby. Kat had started remodeling her home. After several attempts of IVF and thousands of dollars spent, Kat was finally able to get pregnant. Four months into her pregnancy, Emily let the Earp family know she was throwing a surprise baby shower for Kat. Emily was smart, she knew enough, and did not invite Dominique. Mel got the invitation and immediately called up Varun not to mention anything to Dom, but it was already to late. Dom had been staying with him when he had gotten Emily's card in the mail. He said, "Look Dom, I got a card from Emily."
Both were surprised. Opening the card, Varun's face turned to one of concern. Clearing his throat he said, "Hey Dom, let's go out for drinks as he put the card in his pocket. Dom said, "Tell me what Emily's card says." Varun was visibly nervous, " Dom, it just an invite to Earpcon."
Dom knew Earpcon wasn't until next year. She knew something was up with Varun. Varun was acting funny the entire night. Next morning, Dom called her roomie, to ask if Emily had sent her a card. Obviously she hadn't. Dom was hurt Emily had not sent her a card too. Later that day, Dom saw Varun's card on the dining room table. She knew she shouldn't, but she did. As she read the card, tears rolled down her cheeks. Walking in the room, Varun spotted her reading his card. He said, "Dom, I am sorry. I just didn't know how to tell you."
