Chapter One: Game Of Tag

"Oh boy! If Numbuh 362 called for a meeting here it's gotta be something really cool!" Number 2 says excitedly as they wait to hear the reasoning of the meeting.

"Maybe she's going to commend us in front of everyone for our defeat of the mid-west moment of homemade coastal beast!" Number 1 says.

"I don't think we're going to be that lucky but you never know." Alexis says.

"Well whatever this is about it better be quick... I got to pee so bad I-" Number 4 gets cut off by Number 86.

"Kids Next Door attention!" Number 86 shouts.

"Kids Next Door rule." Number 362 says.

"Kids Next Door rule sir." All the operatives say.

"At ease everyone. I've got something super-double important to tell you all. It's something that I hate to do but simply can't wait any longer. I'd like to say..." Number 362 gets cut off by Number 4.

"Ooh! Ooh! Numbuh 362!"Number 4 shouts.

"Yes Number 4?" Number 362 asks.

"Can I go to the bathroom please?" Number 4 asks.

"Can't it wait? I'm kind of in the middle of something important here..." Number 362 says.

"But I really, really, really-" Number 4 gets cut off by Number 362.

"Okay! Just go already!" Number 362 says angrily.

"Yes!" Number 4 shouts as he then dashes to the bathroom.

"What I was trying to say is that running this organization is all-consuming job. One that requires strength, patience, and your willingness to share your candy with everyone. At this point I feel I have exhausted those very things. So it is this time my fellow Kids Next Door that I must say... Tag! You're it!" Number 362 says as she then tags Number 86 and takes off running before all of the other Kids Next Door operatives then take off.

*Timeskip*

As Alexis is running she soon sees Number 362 and goes over to her only to scare her.

"Relax Number 362. It's only me." Alexis say as Number 362 settles down.

"Ugh. Sorry Numbuh 6... I thought you might be it." number 362 says in relief.

"No worries. I'm not. So... Why don't you want to be it now Rachel? Isn't it fun anymore?" Alexis asks as she walks with number 362.

"Fun? Everyone knows that there's nothing fun about being the Supreme Leader of the Kids Next Door! That's why we have that stupid game of tag to decide who does it." Number 362 says.

"Yeah and give everyone a heart attack in the process. But wasn't it you who wanted the job after Chad left and you've been the best one yet! Personally i think you've been the best regardless. I mean under your leadership there's been a 60% reduction of the world's broccoli supply!" Alexis says.

"Please. It's operatives like you do the real work. It was because of going on missions I met you in the first place Alexis. I'm just stuck on the Moonbase doing paperwork now. I don't get to go on missions anymore, I have to keep eleventy hundred kids with short attention spans organized... I just don't want to do it anymore Alexis... So I called in a game of tag. Whoever's it at noon leading the Kids Next Door will be their problem." Number 362 says as Alexis looks at her.

"You know I was always told as a pup that wolves grow up to be natural born leaders. I never thought of myself much as one. But before I joined the Kids Next Door I never saw people who were born so perfectly for the title of leader." Alexis says as she smiles at Number 362.

"Really? Anyone in specific?" Number 362 asks in surprise.

"Of course. You! Rachael you're an amazing leader. We may not be able to go on missions together anymore but I loved being with you and seeing you take charge. You honestly inspired me to bring out more of myself by doing that. You're a real inspiration for others. Especially to me. I hope you know that. You and many others are born for these types of jobs. People like me? Well we may be strong but there's just some things you guys out match us in by a long shot. I hate to see you give up something you excel in." Alexis says.

"Thanks Alexis. I miss having you around all the time too. We always were close. But I am gonna stand by my decision." Number 362 says as Alexis smiles at her.

"Yeah. We were. If this is what you want then I support it. Now if you'll excuse me I should go hide." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and runs off.
