A/N: I decided to put excerpts of random scenarios here, stemming from the new situation of the dear Potter family. It will not necessarily be arranged chronologically, just an easy read (I hope).
Enjoy.

"You do not think you take it too far?" Remus asked, frowning.

"Clearly not." James' voice was resolute as he walked resolutely down the hall, his eyes staring at the map in his hand and following a certain figure. "I've been losing seventeen years, no more time could be wasted. You know how kids nowadays... I have to take matters into my hands and set clear boundaries, otherwise he will not listen to me anymore."

"I don't think he ever listened to you, Prongs, buddy." Sirius noted nodding his head.

"Do you see the problem?" James said in frustration, "My Eileen will hate me if I drop all the kids' education problems on her!"

"I think you're a little late there..." Peter murmured under his nose.

"And I think the fact that you dropped the education problems on her will not be the one reason she hates you..." Remus murmured with a sigh. Really his friend had to sort out his order of importance.

James continued as if no one but himself was speaking. "I mean, yeah, he might already be a big kid, but it's never too late, right?"

The hopeful and dreamy look on James' face was too desperate and longing for his friends to argue. Even though they certainly had something to say, like let's say the small and irrelevant fact that Severus Snape-Potter was seventeen years old and a legal adult to the wizarding world. They just tried to support him, yup, he was their best friend after all. So they didn't bring it up, because of it. Absolutely not because of the fact that he was probably insanely crazy and obsessive and would not listen to their voice.

"Sure, Prongs." Sirius readily agreed and patted the participant on the shoulder of his saneless friend.

Satisfied, James went back to examine the map in his hands and look for his lost son's spot on it.

"Obsession and compulsion are probably a hereditary trait..." Peter tweeted over his shoulder.

Remus and Sirius could not help but agree.

"Here!" Exclaimed James, who ignored the sarcasm of his friends, they were just jealous, he knew. He had an amazing wife and son. He was a mature man and a role model who achieved the meaning of life! And what have his friends already achieved in their 17 years? Their lives were so empty... But he was a good friend, he would let them take care of his son. At some point. Maybe.

They walked quickly to the end of the corridor, only to encounter the sight of their specific Slytherin who had just made the turn from the intersecting corridor and came to turn in their direction.

James jumped up with a shout, "Here he is! My lost little son!"

His lost little son quickly made a smooth U-turn and hurried to flee in the opposite direction, in an attempt to reduce the interaction between them.

This has been the regular scenario for a week since their changing life discovery. James would search and lurk for Severus wherever he could, and Severus tried to avoid at all costs.

So on second thought, it was the same scenario that had been around for seven years. Life has not really changed.

The audience has not changed either. The Marauders and Snape —or are they supposed to call him Potter now?— Were a regular entertainment for them. So what does it matter if their childish tensions became a family drama, for the audience, it would have been even better.

There was no one at Hogwarts who had not already heard of the situation and this absurd family connection. And if there was anyone who lived under a rock and did not hear the rumors, it was very hard not to notice when a desperate Gryffindor ran back and forth around the castle shouting loudly "SON!" In every break and free time they had, in an everyday scenario that repeated itself like a loop all week.

Even now James chased after the unfortunate Severus in the corridors with loud and desperate cries of "Son! Wait! I have to educate you! You do not want to spend quality time with your amazing father?!"

And Severus, urgently looking for a way to slip away, replied with bitter gasps of "Stay away of me, Potter! Leave me alone! I've spent too many quality times with you and unfortunately I can not forget those times no matter how hard I try!"

So in short. Hogwarts was a mess.

And all because of a Potter. As always.

(Just don't ask which one.)
