Lavender knew that Charlie was reluctant to go on a double date with Parvati and her boyfriend Justin because the two men didn't get along, but she wanted her friend to get to know him more.
"Lavender," Charlie sighed.
"I know you don't like him, but she's my friend and I want her to see how happy we are. Please do this for me, Charlie. I tell you what, if you go on this date then I will go on that magical creatures tour you want to do," Lavender said, trying to compromise.
"You hate studying magical creatures," he states.
"I don't hate them, I'm just not as enthusiastic about them as you," Lavender replied, shrugging her shoulders.
"Are you sure? I wouldn't force you into something you didn't want to do."
"It's called a compromise, and I'm told all relationships have them," she replied.
"If you're sure, then yes, I will go on the date for you. It will be nice seeing Parvati again. She's a good friend for you," Charlie agreed.
Lavender squealed and launched herself into his arms. Once he caught her, she peppered his face in kisses.
"Thank you, Charlie," she said, stroking his cheek.
"It's no problem, love," he said, holding her tightly.
