In one fan fiction of the Legend of Zelda called Zelda CBTW, the Lurelin Hylians are a down and out and minority race who do forced hard labor for the Sage Hylians in Western Skyrock (the Lurelin Hylians are literally mind controlled by Uncle Rupee to work for free and long hours to serve the Sage Hylians in their palaces and gardens). The Sage Hylians are the majority and a race descended from the Sages of Zelda.
This goes on for decades in Western Skyrock (Western Skyrock is the western part of Skyrock, a sky country located thousands of feet above the Great Sea from Wind Waker but in a branch of the Decline of Hyrule and the Last Hero timeline where Hyrule became flooded between Link's Awakening and Zelda 1). However in Eastern Skyrock, the Lurelin Hylians aren't mind controlled to work by the Sage Hylians in that part of the country, they work for rupees on their own accord and they have more freedom in Eastern Skyrock than their Western Skyrock mates do .Somewhere right before Zelda I of the nearby timeline, after King Lynna Groose is replaced as King of Skyrock with a King that Western Skyrock fears, Western Skyrock tries to break off from Skyrock to form their own nation (led by their leader, King Agahnim) but Eastern Skyrock launches war with Western Skyrock with Eastern Skyrock's goal to free the Lurelin Hylians of Western Skyrock from their plight.
The Eastern Skyrock troops defeat the Western Skyrock troops freeing the Lurelin Hylians in Western Skyrock. On whether I side with Eastern Skyrock or Western Skyrock in this war, I don't side with Eastern Skyrock, I don't side with Western Skyrock, I am not neutral, I don't side with a hypothetical non existant third side but I am apolitical to lean forth or fifth position on this war.
However, I support an alternate reality version of Western Skyrock in that war in a alternate reality version of Zelda CBTW where the Lurelin Hylians of Western Skyrock were always as free and equal from the get go as the Sage Hylians in Western Skyrock are but where the Sage Hylians and Lurelin Hylians from Western Skyrock BOTH imported thousands to millions of Zelda CDI Faces of Evil Islanders and brought the Islanders to Western Skyrock and mind controlled the Islanders to be bond servants to both the Sage Hylians AND the Lurelin Hylians in their palaces and gardens (but where the Islanders are treated by the Sage Hylians and Lurelin Hylians in the exact way that Potifer treated Joseph as a bond servant in the bible). I support the the Sage Hylians and Lurelin Hylians of Western Skyrock mind controlling the Zelda CDI Faces of Evil Islanders to be bond servants for them (in the way mentioned above). I fully support and side with Western Skyrock in their East-West war against Eastern Skyrock in this alternate reality version of the Zelda CBTW fan fiction and the ways that the Sage Hylians and Lurelin Hylians treat the Zelda CDI Islanders in this alternate reality version of the Zelda CBTW fan fiction.
