A/N: This was for the RPS prompt 'perhaps'.
Astoria and Harry were snuggled on their sofa discussing Ron and Hermione's impending divorce.
"Perhaps it will be good for them. They were always fighting and that's not a good environment to bring children up in. This way they will be able to find the happiness they deserve," Astoria said.
"I know. I'm just dreading being brought into the middle of it. They are my best friends, but I don't want to have to choose between them if things don't go amicably," Harry sighed.
"Then you will just have to explain that to them. Let them know that you're there for them, but you're not going to play piggy in the middle."
"You're right as always. I know how much it will mean to Hermione, as when we were at Hogwarts I always seemed to take Ron's side," he admitted whilst grimacing.
It had taken a while for Harry to even begin to understand everything from Hermione's point of view, but the older he got the more he did. Sometimes he still disagreed with her, but he learnt to keep quiet unless she specifically asked him for advice - unless he was brought into an argument between her and Ron. When that happened he tried to stay out of it.
"I'm sure she knows that you wouldn't do that now. You've often agreed with both of them in the past when you've been put on the spot," Astoria told him.
"I know. Can we talk about something else now? I don't really want to think about it anymore."
"Sure, why don't I tell you how Daphne found Draco with his pants down?" she said mischievously.
"That sounds interesting, and maybe something I could use as blackmail," Harry replied smiling.
