Seamus stared at the canopy of his bed and sighed.
His thoughts were consumed by his best friend and crush, Dean Thomas.
The past few weeks had been terrible as he finally felt the sting of jealousy as Dean began dating Ginny Weasley.
I wish I could tell him how I feel, he thought.
But Dean was happy, and he couldn't ruin it for him.
Seamus didn't want their friendship to end either and had decided to only tell Dean the truth if his friend indicated that he felt the same way.
I hope she treats him right.
That was the only thing he wanted; for someone to love Dean the way he did.
