A/N: Stupid Finals...but I have Awesome news (Well, for me anyway!) I HAVE TICKETS TO SUPERBOWL XL! Yes, yours truly will be at the game rooting for Pittsburgh! I get to miss three days of school too! Yay me! I'll try to write there, but I'll probably won't because I'm in the middle of STEELER HISTORY! Anywho, you don't care.

Sports radio guy: Are you a Steeler FAITHFUL or a Sea hawk Band wagon jumper? The HAWKS ARE GOING DOWN!

Chapter 5: After Effects

"Quinn, Mark's dead," Sam finally told her.

There was silence.

"What?" Quinn asked, "But I just saw him--"
"He died in a car crash on the way to the store," Nicole told her, "I'm so sorry."

"He's dead?" Lola asked.
"Yes, they wanted to see you but since you were having a baby, we had to identify the body. Mark Delfiggalo. Age: 29. Wife: Quinn Pensky. Condition: Deceased," Michael remarked.

The baby kicked. "OWWW!"
"Miss, we better get you to a room,"The annoying lady behind the counter said. She felt sorry for the girl, having a baby and losing her husband, "I'll bend the rules and let your friends come, it's the least I can do."

Quinn got her own room. How could this happen? This was suppose to be the happiest moment of my life. Now, I can't tell whether to be happy or sad.

"Zoey, can I talk to you outside?"Chase asked.

Zoey and Chase went outside, "We have to do something."
"I know, I know," Zoey responded, "I feel awful for Quinn. But what do we do?"
"Offer to move in for a while and help with the baby? It's the least we could do," Chase suggested.

"I'm getting a snack," Logan said to break the silence. He was hoping Dana would follow him, but she was as stubborn as a mule. He figured the best thing to do was wait her out.

"F1," He mumbled to himself and out came a Reese's, "Damn you!" He slammed the machine, "I wanted a 3 musketeers! Dirt bag of a machine."He had every right to be pissed at the machine was his excuse. Mark just died. Dana hated him. And he's stupid candy was misplaced by a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

"Hey Logan," He turned around, only to find Lola.

"Oh, hey," Logan said, disappointed.

"What? Expecting Princess Dana?" Lola was going to do the exact same thing she did to Zoey and Chase. (A/N: But she failed...possible foreshadowing? I dunno...)
"Shut up, she's my girlfriend," Logan exclaimed.

"Mm-hmm," Lola was implying that Dana had broken up with him. Although, Dana was mad, they hadn't officially broken up.
"STOP IT!" Logan was getting pissed off.

"Well, why be with her when you could be with me?" Lola asked.
"Because I love her," Logan informed Lola.

"You doing ok?" Dana asked Quinn a stupid question.

"Yeah, Dana, I'm fine, I'm experiencing the most pain ever and my husband just died. Nifty!" Quinn said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry...what am I suppose to say?" Dana asked.

"NOTHING!" Quinn broke out in tears.

"Don't cry," Dana panicked, Quinn was the smart one who was never suppose to cry.

Quinn sobbed, "Can you leave, I'd like to do this alone..." Dana left.

"Dead..." Sam stated, "I've never had anyone close to me die," She confessed, "Well, except Star, but cats don't count."

"I know," Michael responded, "It's just so horrible. And the day the child is coming."
"If I ever have a kid, I don't think I could handle the father dying on the birth date."
"Don't worry, I won't die," Michael told her, without thinking.

Sam had a shocked expression on her face.
Michael himself was shocked, "You heard that, didn't you?"

"Do you want me to lie?"
"Oh boy, I guess I should talk about something..."Michael said, extremely embarrassed.

"You...like...me?" Sam asked, still shocked.

"Yeah, I guess I do..." Michael admitted, "Please tell me this won't wreck our friendship."
"Oh, it'll change it," Sam gave him a sweet and innocent kiss. She whispered in his ear, "I like you too."

"Dead? But I just saw him...I feel awful," Conner told his future wife, Nicole.
"Me too! I mean our wedding is going to be absolutely dreadful now! Why did he have to die now?" Nicole, although she wasn't trying to, was acting extremely insensitive and bitchy.

"You're concerned about our wedding?" Conner asked appalled.

"Well, yeah. I mean now instead of being a celebration, it's going to be a funeral!" Nicole cried.

"I can't believe you!" Conner reacted.

"Why me?" Nicole asked.

"Because you're being a BITCH!" Conner screamed.

"Well, if that's what you think of me, maybe this wedding should happen at all!" Nicole exclaimed.

"You don't want to have the wedding?" Conner asked.
"I GUESS I DON'T!"

A/N: Oh boy. The wedding is being canceled. Yikes. But on a brighter note, Sam and Michael are finally together and Logan isn't falling for Dana! That didn't make you feel better? Oh well.
