A/N: Last Chapter. I love you all...but it's ending, I'm sorry. Go read my other stories. I'll probably start another story soon...but no sequel. I have so many other ideas that I need to write.
Chapter 9: LET'S GET MARRIED! (Last Chapter)
The wedding was on the next Saturday, as it was planned. Everything was order.
"WHERE ARE THE CATERERS?" Nicole panicked.
Well...not everything...
"They're right here!" Zoey
calmed Nicole down.
"Go get ready,Zoey demanded, "The wedding
will start soon!"
Nicole looked at her clock and squealed. She
needed to start getting ready.
--
Sam and Michael were on their way to the wedding church, when Michael was wondering something.
"Hey Sam, what's next?" He asked. The two were walking that day. San Francisco was a walking city.
"After the wedding? The reception..." Sam thought the answer was blatantly obvious.
Michael chuckled, "No, I mean
for us. I know we've only be together for 4 days, but..."
"I'm
in Los Angeles and you're on tour..." She finished sadly.
"Yeah. But, I mean, we've known each other for almost a year as friends..." Michael pointed out.
"Yeah..."
"Yeah..."
"Yeah..."
"So,
I was wondering, how 'bout you come on tour with me? We are looking
for a new manager..." Michael invited.
Sam grinned.
"Is that a yes?" Michael asked.
Sam nodded, "I hear we're off
to Rome soon..."
--
Zoey paced the room while Nicole was getting ready.
He voices argued with one another:
Should I tell Nicole?
No, she'll be heartbroken that she wasn't invited to the wedding.
It
was an elopement!
It's her big day.
Zoey slipped her ring on. Time to come clean.
--
Lola looked at Quinn and the newborn, "You Ok?"
Quinn grinned, "Fine. Today's
the first day of the rest of our lives."
Lola looked confused.
Should Quinn tell Lola that Mark's ghost came to visit? No. Any person in the right mind would think Quinn was crazy. Is she crazy? Duh. Did Mark really come and see Quinn? Yes. He really did. And it was a good thing Mark came too. If he hadn't, Quinn would have stayed very depressed. Now, she knew she was free to move on.
--
The wedding had started. Nicole looked breath-taking. Conner was overwhelmed with joy. He loved Nicole to the breaking point. Today was the happiest day of his life.
"And do you Conner Zachery Gert take Nicole Emily Bristow to be your () wedded wife to have and to hold, TILL DEATH DO YOU PART?" The minister performing the ceremony asked.
"I do. I really do," Conner smiled.
"Well then, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," The minister allowed.
Nicole squealed. Conner picked her up and smooched her. They were married. Finally.
Everybody cheered.
--
The reception was more eventful than the rest of the week.
Logan talked to Conner and Conner agreed to letting Logan make a speech after the bouquet toss.
Chase and Zoey were talking to Mr. And Mrs. Conner Gert.
Nicole looked at Zoey's finger, "Hey, Zo? What's with the ring?"
Chase and Zoey looked at each other and laughed nervously.
"Nicole..." Chase started.
"We are married..." Zoey finished.
"What?" Nicole asked, nearly
choking on her wine.
"Chase and I eloped...in Italy. We were
going to tell you, but we didn't want to wreck your big night,"
Zoey explained.
Nicole took the news rather well. Maybe it's because she just got married. Maybe it was the wine. But she just hugged Zoey and Chase and wandered away.
"So, we were worried about telling her over nothing..." Chase concluded. He sighed and shook his head.
--
"Ladies! It's time for the bouquet toss!" Nicole announced. A bunch of girls swarmed in the middle of the circle.
"This is a stupid tradition..." Dana mumbled to Logan.
"Go..." Logan told her, "Have
fun. Catch the croquet!"
"Bouquet..." Dana corrected.
"Whatever. Just go!" He pushed her to the center of the circle.
Nicole spun around ten times and threw. A bunch of girls dived into where it was seeming to go, but somehow, by some freak of nature, the bouquet ended up in Dana's hands.
Logan made his way his way up to the stage. He tapped on his glass, "Hello?" People seemed to pay attention, "Hi, my name is Logan Reese." There were some shiny lights shining in his eyes.
He held up his hand, "Anyway, Dana, the girl who just caught the bouquet is my girlfriend. Well, I've been planning this for a while..." He took a deep breath, "Can Dana come up here?"
Dana came up on stage,
confused.
Logan reached into his coat pocket and out came a small
box. He got down on one knee.
Dana looked alarmed, "Logan, what
are you doing?"
"Proposing. I guess the bouquet toss really
does work," Logan answered and opening the box. A small diamond
appeared, "Dana, will you marry me?"
Dana automatically burst
into tears.
"Wow...I've never see you cry..." Logan
commented.
"Yes, Logan, I will marry you," Dana replied. She
slipped the engagement ring on her finger.
He kissed her.
How did I think he was cheating? Dana asked herself. But the answer didn't matter. She was marrying Logan Reese!
--
"Wow, look at you two," Lola said to Conner and Nicole, who seemed inseparable. She was obviously envying them. Lola would never find a guy.
"What's next?" Sam asked the
newly wedded couple.
"HONEYMOON!" Nicole shouted.
