Chapter Twenty - Mist And Ice Return Part One

A few days passed since a lot of training and guarding the Tazuna family but the time has come when the bridge was nearly finished.

Inside Tazuna Household

Menma and Kakashi were in the living room talking about the last day of guarding "Kakashi I think we will be attacked today, it would be a good time to do it as well," Kakashi nods in agreement "yeah your right." Kakashi looked at Menma "you do know, we have to leave after the bridge to finish." Menma didn't say anything.

Little later on Naru, Sasuke and Sakura woke up and headed downstairs, Naruto didn't wake up "morning sensai," Naru smiles sitting next to Menma, Sasuke sat another side of Menma "morning," with Sakura sitting next to Kakashi as genin begin to eat, Menma looked at Sasuke "Naruto still sleep?" Sasuke just nods as he tries to eat.

Kakashi begin to read his book "Naruto can catch us up, we can handle guard duty," Menma nods as he grabs his plate and headed into the kitchen "hey honey" Menma kissed Tsunami on the check as Inari rolled his eyes as he headed to his room "Menma don't worry about him, he just shy around people," Menma nods "I understand," Tazuna walked into the kitchen seeing his daughter in love again as he cough "Menma time to go."

At Unnamed Bridge

Tazuna and team seven reach the bridge to see all the workers knock out "what going on?!" Tazuna headed over to one of his men "what happened?!" Man cough "Gato" before dying from a slash wound "Hello Kakashi Hatake, nice to meet you again," Menma rubs his neck "I'm guessing this is Zabuza?" Kakashi nodded pulled his headband up and show off his Sharingan as Menma stood next to Kakashi "Flame style: red flame release" Menma's arms and legs burst on fire.

Zabuza pulled his sword off his back and got ready to use it "so your Menma Uzumaki of the red flame," Zabuza run at Menma and Kakashi with Zabuza doing one-handed hand sign "Ninja Art: Hidden Mist Jutsu," Bridge was developed in the mist.

Sasuke, Sakura and Naru were coving Tazuna when half a dozen Senbon heading for Tazuna, Sasuke's eyes hurt for a second when he move Tazuna out of the way and quickly pulled out kunai to deflex the Senbon "thanks kid" Haku Land in front of the three genins "it's you!" Sakura point at Haku.

Sasuke's eyes hurt more until his Sharingan appeared "You're an Uchiha?" Haku Make Ice Mirror and stepped inside and another appeared behind Sasuke, Sasuke caught out of the corner of his eye the ice mirror forming and quickly move out of the way as three senbon was shot out of the ice mirror before some more ice mirrors appear around Sasuke and Naru,

Sakura grabs Tazuna's hand quickly pulling away from the two battles.

Naruto started to wake up from the noise from downstairs as Gato Men break into the house "Naruto!" Tsunami run into the guest room and shut the door behind it holding it close "Naruto you're awake they got Inari!" Naruto stood up as Tsunami fell to the ground when the door swung open with Gato men running in holding a sword "Kill them both!" both of Gato men swing their swords within seconds Naruto knock both Gato men out "Stay here Tsunami, I'll save Inari!" Naruto jumps out the window.
