"Seriously, how did this happen?!"
"Gokudera, it was an accident and please don't yell." Tsuna said to his right hand and best friend. Haru folded her arms, refusing to look at any of them. She had been at a competition with some of her old teammates, who hated her. They had managed to drag her away from the main building and trap her in an old storage room nearby. They then set it on fire and Haru didn't have many choices for getting out, except through the fire. What really irritated her is that some of her new teammates were fans of Yamamoto and Gokudera and they didn't like that she was close to them, they chose to help her old bullies to pull this off.
Her hair was short now and smelled burned and her right arm and part of her face had burns. She refused to look at her legs that took the biggest hit. She was furious because the repair would take months, maybe years and she couldn't continue her training until it was done, on top of that she would have to do a lot of physiotherapy as currently her legs were next to useless from pain.
"Oi stupid woman pay attention. How the hell did this happen?" She still refused to look at him, wanting them to believe it was an accident.
"Let's go, Haru needs some space." She heard everyone leave but knew when it came to her, Gokudera had recently stopped listening. A single tear went down her cheek and her suspension was confirmed as he reached out and wiped the tear away.
"Haru." She turned to look at him, angry about everything.
"I don't believe it was an accident, how did it happen?" Haru looked down but leaned into the hand on her face.
"They hate me, my old team, I never knew why. Some of my new team is jealous they planned it, and I fell for it." She felt her frustration build up and tears set in.
"I knew they didn't like me and yet I somehow fell for it. How did I fall for such an obvious lie about wanting to mend things, and now I can't train until I'm better. This is gonna suck, I want to be useful but now I'm just-" she stopped and looked away, pulling her face away from his hand. Her hands had balled into fist, at least the one as the other hurt and would move as easily.
"What are they jealous about?" She scoffed, annoyed that he hadn't figured it out.
"Oi, answer the question."
"If you don't know then you're blind or stupid." She turned back to face him and could see his anger building but trying to hold back, she ran a finger lightly down his arm. She watched as his face shifted from anger to frustration, then settled on worry and concern. So she just whispered her next words, hoping he would let her be alone with her anger and frustration.
"Go figure it out." She then flopped on her bed facing away from him, which in turn led her to hiss as that side hurt. She was sure without the pain meds in her system it would hurt a lot more.
