Haru was bored in the Hospital but after several months of being in the burn center, she was finally being released soon. No one was visiting currently, and she couldn't help wondering what had been happening, she missed competition season and a lot of school. Reborn, Kyoko and Hana typically were the ones who dropped off and picked up her homework, so she wasn't missing much from class. There were never any notes so she figured Gokudera was skipping class.
It led her to considering what their relationship was actually like. They were family, but she wondered what he actually thought of her. Then it occurred to her that she hadn't seen him since she woke up.
"What is he up to?" She wondered out loud.
"Who are you talking to?" Came a voice she hadn't heard in a while. She looked to her left towards the door, because of her being a member of their group she had a private room, so talking to herself was a common thing. There in the doorway stood the very silver haired teen she was thinking about. Crossing her arms, her eyes narrowed, and she could help being mad.
"Well look who decided to come visit."
He looked down and hunched a bit making his way over to her.
"Sorry, I was doing something."
She raised an eyebrow and patted the spot next to her, he compiled and sat down.
"I didn't realize how hard it was for you at school. I'm sorry, I should have paid attention." He's head was still bowed, Haru couldn't help melting a little.
"Gokudera." She said softly but he wouldn't look at her.
"Gokudera." This time she place a hand under his chin, her own eyes softening.
"It's fine, so long as the family is there I'm ok." She knew he was worried, as right hand his job is to lead the Guardians, and protect the family. He was probably wondering how he could protect the family from civilians they couldn't hurt.
He open his mouth to speak but Haru let her finger on his chin go up to his lips and trace them. Whatever he was gonna say died, and she knew he wouldn't argue with her
"It's ok, just be my friend and come visit. I get released in a week, then I have bi monthly visits. Just be there for me and that will make everything alright for me. It's all I need." He nodded his head then pulled her into his arms, she hugged him back knowing contact like this was rare.
