Where Are You Christmas

A/N: Inspired by some authors in FFN and it gave me ideas on starting a wrestling Christmas special one-shots featuring my fav pairings! Plus this is AU, not canon!

Chapter 1: Eve is missing her boyfriend

Timeline: Nov-Dec 2010

Summary: Ever since Mike won the WWE title from Randy during Raw and decides to visit his hometown to celebrate, Eve (his girlfriend) finds out that she really misses him infinitely and wishes to be with the man she fell in love with back in October. She desperately worries about Mike not remembering a single thing about her or... could it be a surprising visit from him?

Flashback to Raw during and after his championship win

The Miz has stunned the whole WWE Universe by defeating Randy Orton to become the NEW WWE CHAMPION with the help of his NXT rookie and best friend, Alex Riley. Once they head backstage from the ring, Miz encounters her girlfriend Eve near his locker room, where she congratulated him on his title victory and gave a full kiss on the lips following by a hug causing A-Ry's mouth to drop open. Mike is such a "lucky guy" with a woman like Eve, who cares about her in each of his matches and vice versa. At least they have each other's backs to support ever since they first started dating, nothing can ever come to separate them, not even arguing over "silly" and "stupid" stuff that can lead to kissing each other.

Eve: "Mike, baby, can we have a private talk just between us in your locker room?" (hoping Miz to send A-Ry to wait somewhere else for a few minutes, so he can have a talk with his girlfriend)

Mike: "Anything for you, my precious babe. A-Ry, can you do me a favour and wait for me somewhere else, while I talk to my love inside my locker room." (opens the door for her to walk in first, then he walks in after)

A-Ry just nods and leaves to go somewhere else to wander for a few minutes, then finds Gail Kim, who looks bored and needs someone to talk with, joining her company.

-At Mike's Locker Room-

Eve (smiling): "I was wondering if we can celebrate your championship win somewhere at a fancy place, nearby our apartment, what do you think?"

Mike: "I love the idea of us celebrating at a nice place for tonight, but I received a text message from my father saying he wants me to visit them for a week. I'm sorry Eve, but we can make that up once I get back, alright. I love you lots and I will always have you in my mind when I am with my parents." (frowns and gives her a kiss)

Eve (kisses him back): "No worries, Mike. I totally understand this unexpected situation, we'll reschedule the celebration party when you come back. Stay safe over there and I will keep in touch with you. By the way, I love you too." (hugs him)

Mike: "I will always keep in touch with you Eve. I'll see you in a week." (smiles at her)

Eve just smiles back at her boyfriend and leaves his locker room to pack up her things and leave the arena to have the rest of the night free, watching the remaining matches live on TV; however, she spotted Alex Riley flirting with one of her friends Gail Kim, making her mouth drop open but just needs to focus on her priorities and having the free time.

-Timeskip-

While Mike is at his hometown celebrating with his parents on his title victory over Orton at Raw, they decided to take their son out for a walk around at several stores to see if Mike is interested in buying new stuff for him or for his friends, but he has a better idea in his mind: proposing to his girl Eve. He found their relationship to be blooming high, reaching its peak where love should be taken to the very next level. His parents nodded in agreement once he told the information about buying an engagement ring so he can come back to Tenessee with a gift for his lovely Eve, on a special day. Mike has never lost faith in her, trusts her completely that he will spend his forever future with that woman like her, the same thing goes with Eve, she never lost faith in him as well.

-end flashback-

Eve is sitting at the apartment on a cold Christmas day with a blanket wrapped around her body and a cup of hot chocolate in her hand, desperately missing Mike and urges him to be hereafter his trip from Ohio with his parents. What if he was enjoying his time at Cleveland and the celebration was all about winning over Orton more important than keeping in touch with her? This made Eve completely worried about that thought, quickly runs to her phone and speed dials him but there was no answer. She stares out the window sadly, seeing how fluffs of snow falling on the ground, making a wish to see Mike back home with her once again. She kept staring out into the window without noticing the door opening and that person who came into the apartment, is her Mike!

Mike (smiles): "Eve, I'm back! Hope you didn't do anything silly like throwing a wild party while 'The Mike' was away for a whole week."

Eve turns her head and smiles to see her boyfriend back at home again. She runs up to him and wraps her hands around his neck, giving him a sweet and gentle kiss on the lips.

Eve (smiled): "Babe! I'm glad to see you again! I was worried about you forgetting about me during your celebration with your parents, but then I tried calling you and you wouldn't answer the phone, making me feel left out! (punches him playfully)

Mike: "Well duh I couldn't answer you, I was on a plane flight for a whole hour and no, I wasn't purposefully ignoring you. I love you too much that I couldn't live without you. I wished I brought you along with me but my parents wanted me to celebrate alone with them! You are my fav kind of person, you know right?"

Eve (blushes): "Awww how sweet of you Mike. No one has ever said those sincere words to me before ever since my last relationship with a different guy in the past, didn't mean this much like you. Your charismatic mood makes the deepest depths of my heart shine. You are my favourite kind of person too and I actually can tell you are being sincere to me, which I love it." (hugs him)

Mike hugs her back as he searches for something inside his pocket, then kneels on one knee, looking at Eve with love in his eyes, excited to propose to her on spending the future together under this special Christmas day to remember.

Mike: Eve, you are such a wonderful person when I first met you. You had charmed my heart, keeping me on my feet when something is wrong, keeping me in reality check no one could ever do except for you. I felt so deeply enamoured by your qualities and looks because you are special to me and felt lucky to have such a wonderful woman like you. Eve, will you marry me?" (takes out the ring from the box)

Eve (cries in joy, stunned by the words): "Yes! Mike. I will marry you!"

Mike gets up and places the ring on her finger and the two kiss one another, enjoying the reconnection between them after a week of inactivity of love, but here they are. Destiny between them will be forever at last!

Mike: "You are like the Wifi to my heart. When I am away, my heart is missing connection but when I am with you, I feel one hundred purrcent connected to you. Merry Christmas Eve." (kisses her)

Eve (kisses him back): "Merry Christmas to you too, my love."
