Ruby stood in front of her mother's gravestone. "Hey mom, I figured I'd say hi. Yes it really is me. dad freaked out when he saw me. I'm going on a mission shortly." She said unaware that she had company. "So, this is where you ran off to." The person said. "Eep, Turaga Krayix. Please don't do that." Ruby said placing a hand over her heart. "Forgive me, but Blake figured she'd get something before we left."

Ruby noticed Blake come up with a bouquet of flowers. "They're for your mother." Blake said before placing the bouquet in front of the gravestone. "These are for you Mrs. rose," she said "I'm sure you'd be proud of Ruby. She's a great leader." Ruby turned to the faunas Toa. "Thanks Blake, that's very kind of you." She said. Blake nodded smiling.

"Well, I guess this goodbye for now huh." Ruby said as she, Blake, Krayix, Yang and Neo stood at the road leading to the docks. "Yeah." Yang said. she was wearing black blue jeans, an orange shirt and grey jacket with her hair in a ponytail. "You know yang you could fold the sleeve so it doesn't get in the way." Blake said. Yang's smile faded as she looked at her half empty right sleeve. "You look better with a ponytail, you should keep it." Krayix said before he got whacked by his girlfriend.

Yang laughed at this. "I'll think about it." As they were talking Jaune came up. "We're waiting for you Ruby." He said. Ruby nodded. "See ya." She said waving goodbye to her biological sister and their toa sisters while running. "Good luck Ruby/luv" Yang and Neo said at the same time. "Blake and I best be off as well." Krayix said hobbling towards patch and to their ship. "I hope you recover Yang." Blake said placing her forehead against yang's before catching up to Krayix

Soon, Neo and Yang were alone. "Wanna head back. I'm sure dad's stockpiled some ice cream." Yang said. Neo perked up at this. "What are we waiting for then luv? Let's get that ice cream."

6 months later….

Yang sat on the family couch looking through some magazines while her father and Neo were shopping. 'I miss Ruby.' She thought. 'damn it I need to stay in shape. Yet can I?" over the six months since becoming a toa, yang had forgone training to lounge around the house due to a missing limb.

Sure, she had flashbacks of losing it, but Neo was their to keep her from falling into a deep depression. 'thanks, Krayix for asking her to stay with dad and I.' Yang closed her eyes and visualized her friends. Then she visualized Krayix. He had been there to listen to yang's troubles regarding her mother. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't attracted to him for it. But deep down. She knew he wasn't for her.

She jumped when the door opened. "We're back luv." Neo said as she was followed by Tai. "You have mail." He said carrying a box with an envelope taped to it. "It's from atlas." Yang raised an eyebrow looking at the envelope and saw the Schnee dust company logo on it. "Looks like our sister, Weiss is worried if she wrote a letter to you." Neo said as Yang read the letter:

"Dear yang, I've heard from Neo that even though you are making a great recovery, you are still afraid of not being who you once were. I commissioned Ironwood and the best technological minds here in atlas to make something for you. I hope you choose to wear it cause I'd freeze you if you don't. wishing you well,

your sister Weiss Schnee

Yang, with help from Neo, then opened the box to reveal a robotic limb. The blond toa smiled, but it quickly disappeared. Neo took notice of this. "You don't like it?" she asked "No, I like it. It's just that even with this new limb. I don't think I'd be able to channel my elemental aura as well as I used to." Neo nodded.

"Take it off." She said. "Excuse me?" Yang asked "Your jacket, take it off we need to get you used to it first." Yang shook her head. "Not today." She said. "I'm going to sweep the deck." Neo nodded as Tai came up.

"She like it?" he asked the heterochromatic toa. "She did, but she's worried that she won't be able to channel Elemental aura through it. I'll ask Weiss if she thought of that." Neo said. Tai nodded in understanding.

Yang swept the deck with some difficult. 'maybe, I should have put the arm on. Test drive it as Krayix would say.' She giggled remembering a story Krayix had told about his fellow toa of air and Jaune's predecessor, Matau.

{Flashback begin}

"Got any stories about your days as a toa Metru?" Ruby asked. "How about one regarding the team's clown." Yang said. "Matau?" Krayix asked before chuckling. "Before he became a toa, Matau told me that he used to test drive new vehicles before they hit production." Krayix said trying not to crack up. "when Matau got his toa stone he accidentally broke the steering mechanism on the vehicle he was testing." Team RWBY flinched. "That's not funny." Weiss said. "it's what came after is what's funny." Krayix said.

"After sliding to a stop in front of toa Lhikan, whom chuckled said this, don't break it." Krayix said laughing as Ruby raised an eyebrow. "Oh, he meant don't break the toa stone." She said cracking up. Yang chuckled as Weiss' eye twitched before giggling. Blake laughed while sitting beside the toa's side.

{Flashback end}

"What's got you giggling like a hyena, luv?" a voice asked. Yang turned to see Neo leaning against the door frame holding her parasol in one hand, and Yang's new limb in the other. "Just remembering a story Krayix told us before you joined." The blond toa said leaning the broom against the railing.

"May as well." Neo raised an eyebrow. "May as well what, luv." Her eyes widened as yang took off her jacket. "May I?" she asked gesturing for the new arm. As she attached it her head jerked to the forest. "What is it." Neo asked.

"We have company and it isn't Grimm. Get my dad." Yang said leaping up and pushing herself off the railing. "Bloody hell, she's got to teach me how to do that." Neo muttered. Yang front flipped and landed getting into her Earth stance shortly afterwards. "Yang, what is it?" Tai asked as the blond toa scanned the tree line. Neo came up beside her fellow toa and did the same.

"Don't worry we won't hurt you." A man's voice said as he and another person came out of the woods. Yang and Neo's eyes widened. The one who had spoken was a brown golem. The other was a black golem. "No way." Yang muttered.

"Yang, who are they?" Tai asked having seen his eldest daughter's eyes widened. "they're Onewa and whenua. Neo's and my predecessors." This statement caused "Onewa" and "whenua" to (figuratively) raise an eyebrow. "Predecessors?" Whenua asked.

A/N: chapter 2 in the bag. That's right the Toa Metru have returned. The next chapter will have yang and Neo explain what's going on to the toa Metru of earth and the toa Metru of stone. As always read and review. Constructive criticism is allowed. That being said peace.
