Chapter 3: Jack receives the gift of his life
Summary: Swagger receives a gift from Maryse but in a different way.

Jack Swagger was spending his day shopping for gifts for his friends, family, and even his girlfriend Maryse Ouellet. He feels extremely lucky to have her on his side to spend their Christmas night together, watching The Polar Express, listening to several winter music from artists like Mannheim Steamroller, Burl Ives, and many more to add on. Their plan was to snuggle with each other right near the fireplace; however, Maryse came into the house quietly without making too much noise, sneaks behind her beloved boyfriend of 1 year and delivers him a kiss on the forehead causing Swagger to turn around in surprise.
Maryse: "Je suis de retour à la maison bébé. Did you do anything whilst I was away?"
Jack: "Um yes. I went shopping for almost the whole day looking for a perfect gift to hand it to you but it was too expensive to buy" (sighs sadly).
Maryse (lovely tone): "Mon amour, ne t'en fais pas. I do have a gift for you, please follow me" (she walks towards to their room and he follows her)
Jack (confused, speaks back in French): "Je n'ai aucune idée d'où tu m'emmènes mais j'espère que c'est un bon cadeau de ta part"
Maryse (shushing him): "Pas de temps pour tes commentaires! Please lay down on your stomach"
Jack (lies down on his stomach): "Is there anything else for me to do with you?"
Maryse: "Um no. This will hurt but you'll going to like it" (she starts massaging his back)
Jack at first hisses in pain from the massage he is receiving from Maryse but at the same time, he is enjoying it as he closes his eyes contently, giving a soft purr when she massaged him with tenderly love.
Jack (purring softly): "Wow, this is awesome, I never had any girlfriends who could do massages this better than you. Such a nice talent you have by the way and I'd rather have you doing this to me instead of those other massagers from the mall. Instead of them helping me recover, they bring up twice the amount of damage they are doing to me. They are not experienced" He sees Maryse blushing at his comment and giggling about what he said about massagers from malls who are not well experienced.
Maryse: "Well duh! I'm way better than those dorks at the mall. I swear if any of them hits on my boyfriend, they'll end up with broken limbs probably losing a bit of hair. I am almost done dear, be patient." She almost finishes giving Jack massages on his back until he tells her that he is completely recovered from the travelling he did during the day.
Jack (stands up): "Wow, that was the best gift anyone has ever given me. I love you too much babe!" he leans to her and gives her a kiss on the lips and she returns the kiss in a flirtatious way.
Maryse (blushing): "I love you too Jack, you are the best boyfriend that I could ever ask for. Unlike my ex Mike, you always cared about me whenever I am depressed from my matches or from other things, bringing me out of my shell and opening up to other opportunities. Why the hell am I soo lucky to have you? I'm super enamoured that destiny brings us closer and we are meant for each other eternally." leans towards him and places her hands, flat-palmed on his chest and looks at each other's eyes for a while.
Jack (blushes): "You are right. We are so meant for each other. When I first met you, I was too shy to start a conversation with you and became lost in your beauty, however, your qualities mattered to me the most. I love the sweet, caring, humble Maryse you are, not the character you portray on TV. I love seeing the real you because each time we spent more time together, I became more attached to you without realising how much I was falling in love with you. Back to the present, look at where we are right now, how much love between us has gotten even stronger despite our ups and downs at times but it mattered the most is being supportive of each other."
He sincerely meant what he had told her while she was blushing in a colour of pink, never had faced such an honest and sincere guy who would say those sweet words to her in the past where her ex flamers only loved her because of her looks, nothing else. However, Jack was a totally different guy who cares more about than just "beauty and looks" but also the qualities as well. As Jack almost forgot about giving the Christmas gift to Maryse, he quickly runs towards the living room grabbing the gift and hands it to her in surprise.
Maryse (opens the gift and yells in surprise): "Oh ma lanterne! Jack, c'est le plus beau cadeau qu'on m'ait jamais fait! I always dreamt of getting a nice pair of snowflake themed earrings but you read my mind! Thanks for the gift, I really loved them" (she gives him a sweet kiss on the lips).
Jack: "No problem. When I was shopping, I found those earrings and pretty much the last ones before someone else took them away. They look soo pretty on you once you wear them." (he winks at her)
Maryse (happy): "You have no idea how much you mean to me. This captured my heart out with those sweet, generous, truthful characteristics you showed when we first dated as a couple and now we are satisfied with the gifts we both received."
Jack: "Joyeux noel ma belle."
Maryse: "Joyeux noël à toi aussi mon amour."
As the couple do their planned activities for the rest of the day, they are both satisfied with the gifts they received from each other, especially The All American-American wrestler, Jack.
