I just want to say "Thank you"
Because you're always so good to me
even when life gets me confused at times
you're always there and always mine
you love me when I'm right
you love me when I'm wrong
you hug me in the night when
there's no one to turn to
you smile down on me in the light
when I sing praises for you
just like psalm chapter 30, verse five,
"His anger is but a moment
His favor is for a lifetime . . . "
You love me even when it's your own law I abused.
So that's why I'm here to say"Thank you!"
I know those two words could never be enough
but that's the beauty of it
You have unconditional love.
