Unknown POV

It was odd to move around the castle. Though unseen and unfelt. It was still freeing. Something changed while the boy was unconscious. I wanted a chance to view my heir's consorts. I do not care if they were chosen by a magical artifact. I must ensure that they are worthy. I am on my way to the Great Hall.

No one's POV

Another week had passed. Draco was not sure what Snape had done but knew he was successful. The past three days his godfather has had a smirk on his face whenever he was in the Great Hall. He sat in his usual seat in the Great Hall. He watched everyone carefully. The normal delivery of the Daily Prophet held no interest for him till he looked at his godfather.

Draco grabbed the closest paper. On the front page were images of Potter, Blaise, and himself. The headline was large and bold: Triwizard Champion Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy and Blaise Zabini Emancipated by Ancient Law and Bound by Ancient Magic. Draco almost choked on his food. He pushed the paper to Blaise who reacted the same way.

Blaise pointed to another headline: Has the Chosen One and Triwizard Champion been abused? Draco was about to say something when there was a commotion at the Gryffindor table. Ron jumped up and stormed towards Draco. "What lies are you spewing now? What did you do to Harry because he would never willingly bind himself to you?" Ron pointed his wand.

Draco kept both his hands on the table and bit his cheek to keep from reaching for his wand. "I have not stated any lies. The binding was created by the Ancient Magic of Hogwarts and Goblet of Fire which were triggered by Potter's very own magic and response to being selected. None of us had a choice. I cannot speak about anything beyond that because I still do not fully understand."

"You will undo it." Ron demanded.

Draco grinned. "I cannot, nor would I if I could." Draco looked directly into Ron's eyes. Ron quickly uttered a hex at Draco which bounced off a shield and hit the wall near the professor's table. "What did you do?"

Hermione came up behind Ron and placed a hand on his shoulder. She sighed and gritted her teeth. "He did nothing. Harry for some reason is shielding them. I cannot understand it. I am not sure that I want to." She sneered and steered Ron away from them. "Just leave them. Harry has made a choice. We need to speak to him to see how lost he is."

Slytherins turned and stared at their two housemates. "What?" Draco snapped.

"How can you be okay being bound to a Gryffindor?" A Slytherin stated.

"It is simple. Harry Potter was supposed to be a Slytherin." Draco turned on his last comment and left the hall and went to the hospital wing.

Not knowing he was being watched, Draco sighed as he sat on the edge of Potter's bed. He picked up his hand and began to rub circles on the back of it. "Things have gotten quite messy, Potter. You were in the paper today. I am not sure that you would be happy. You had two headlines: one about you being emancipated and bound to Blaise and myself and about the possibility of being abused. It seems when the Goblet chose you as a Champion, you by Ancient Law were considered an adult. It seems that the Ministry and Dumbledore knew this and kept it from you."

He linked his fingers with Potter's. He took a deep breath. "I do not want to end my relationship with Blaise, because I do love him. He is a comfort and strength for me. However, I just wish…" Draco stopped and stared at the wall wondering what he wanted.

Potter squeezed his hand and whispered. "What do you wish?"

Draco looked into emerald eyes completely stunned. "I do not know what I wish for, and therein lies the problem. I want something else and more but not to release what I do have. Yet, not sure what it means or what it is?"

Draco felt shame and confusion emanate from Potter. "You have nothing to be shamed about. I owe you an apology. We all were raised to believe you were raised in the Wizarding World. I wanted to impress you."

"I have already forgiven the past. It was why I wanted the truce besides the fact that I admitted last year that I was attracted to you. I hated you and myself for those thoughts. However, I understand that you are with Blaise. I do not want to jeopardize or come between the two of you."

Draco began to play with Potter's fingers. "I am not sure we can avoid it." He spoke softly.

"Then we will have to come up with a plan to avoid it." Potter smiled. "I am sure we could come up with something. Please forgive me, I just have to know just once."

"Know what…" Draco was never able to complete the sentence. Potter's lips were moving against his. If anyone were around; then they would have been able to feel the heat and passion that ignited. A hidden person smiled as the two boys moaned into the kiss.

Suddenly, Potter backed away. "Again, I am sorry." He said breathlessly.

"I have never felt anything like that before." Draco licked his lips.

"I have never been with anyone. I only kissed one other person, and it was horrible." Potter blushed. "I was resigned to having to wait till after the war, because I refuse to make someone a target for Voldemort."

Draco flinched at the name. "I was already a target for the Dark Lord."

"I know. I am sorry about your mother. I wish I could rip the connection from me. I hate seeing and feeling it. I cannot seem to block my mind. It is like something is keeping me from clearing my mind."

Draco started to release his hand and felt Harry stiffen. "I need to let Madame Pomfrey know you are awake. I will be back." Harry nodded and let go.

Draco returned quickly with the mediwitch. She asked many questions. She agreed to allow him some simple food. Harry grinned stating that he was used how to eat after not eating for a while. Shortly after the food was delivered. Blaise and Snape arrived.

"I need to speak with Potter. You two need to head to class." Snape said

Harry pinched the bridge of nose. "I have a feeling I know what you would like to talk about. I have no issues speaking with you. However, if I am truly bonded to these two; then they should be here to hear it as well. I think I have the strength to only speak about it once."

Snape watched the shame, guilt and hesitancy cross the boy's face that dulled his eyes. "If you wish; then they can stay. If they begin to interfere; then I will have to ask them to leave. I will be using a dicta quill to record what you say, so, it only must be spoken once. I need to know what happened in your home." Snape pulled up a chair and set the quill and parchment on the stand to record.

Blaise and Draco sat on either side of Harry, and each taking a hand. Harry took a deep breath. He began to give detail on everything experienced at the Dursley up till his first trip to Diagon Alley. He relayed everything that was told to him. Including him meeting Hagrid. He included his meeting with a boy in the robe shop which had Draco looking ashamed. He told them everything that happened on the train.

His eyes sparkled with a life that is seldom seen. It had Snape taken back by the sudden change. Harry smiled. "We got to the castle. I got a feeling of coming home. I could have sworn that I heard a lady's voice saying she was happy that I had finally come home. During the sorting, the Sorting Hat kept telling me that Slytherin was the place that I needed to be and would help me on my way to greatness; however, the boy from the shop got placed there and in my own ignorance and not wanting to be around another Dudley; I kept pleading for any other house. The hat said then it should be the house of my parents. I was placed in Gryffindor."

Harry took another deep breath. "I can remember that first year like it was yesterday. I never told anyone, but I felt so alone. I could feel that I was meant to be here but felt too stupid and seemed to be a freak among other wizards, because I knew absolutely nothing. No one would believe me. I did not even know how to use a quill or take care of one. I still don't. I had only learned about Hogwarts two days before getting on the train. Everyone kept watching me. I hated it."

He told them what his summers were like, and how he was always forced to return. He told how they would lock up his trunk and wand every summer till a couple days before he had to leave. It was why his summer assignments always seemed rushed.

He went into details about each of his years at Hogwarts. It was more than anyone could have guessed. It was enough to shock all three of them. He explained that he could not understand how no one could not see the bruises. He did not know that he was wearing a glamour.

"I did not see the reason to question things till I watched Sirius dies. I realized that I was just being used. I was being used by both sides. With encouragement from the twins, I finally bought something for myself. I struggled all summer with my emotions. When I finally left the Dursleys, Ron kept bugging me about taking his sister out on a date. However, I could not bring myself to do it. I had finally admitted that I was attracted to someone else. I was content that I had something for myself; then I realized it was just magic making me feel that way. I was pissed. I raged throughout the Forbidden Forest, because the centaurs always helped to contain the large burst of magic that would be released so no harm could be felt by those that inhabit the forest. You know the rest."

Snape struggled to control his anger and guilt. "Before we continue, I have to apologize to you. I never knew. I always assumed that you were told and knew about magic. I never knew the kind of life you have lived. I never bothered to look closer because I let my hatred of your father blind me."

Harry reached for Snape's hand after releasing Draco's. "You have nothing to apologize for except for my dislike of potions, which in the beginning I was eager and looking forward to learning, because I love cooking. However, you never treated me as anything special. I appreciated it. I was so used to making sure that I was not better than others for fear of what the results would be that I became dependent on people like Hermione to help me with my classes, so I would just be average."

He sighed. "I only wanted to just be Harry; however, I realized that I do not even know who that is truly. I do not like being constantly under a microscope. I would just like to be in the shadows."

Blaise snickered. "That will never happen."

Harry frowned at him. "I know. I can still dream."

Snape looked at him. He showed the certificates from both the muggle world and Ministry showing that he was emancipated. He was shown that charges were being brought against the Dursley's for abuse. Snape told him about his inheritances. Snape told him that he would have to be taken to Gringotts to lay claim to them.

Harry could only nod his acknowledgement. He frowned. Draco looked at Harry. "What is wrong?"

"I do not know what to do with it or manage it; if there is anything to manage."

Blaise laughed. "Oh, there is plenty to manage. I know for a fact that both Blacks and Potters had majority shares in business that my family were co-owners."

Harry looked shocked. "How much is there?"

Blaise nudged his arm. "Let's just say between the two Houses, you and your children and all the way through your great, great grandchildren could go without working a day in your lives and that is based on what it was. Depending on interest that has accrued it could last longer."

"Oh, my goodness." Harry looked at Snape with childlike wonder and giddiness. "You mean I can get glasses that allow me to see clearly and clothes that fit."

Snape laughed. "Yes." He paused briefly and frowned. "What do you mean see clearly? You do not miss when you aim your spells."

Harry sighed yet again. "I have not been able to see clearly since I was nine. It is probably another reason my handwriting is a mess because everything is hazy and blurry. I can land my spells, because I use my magic to focus on the vibration and aura of my target. Everything and person has a different vibration as well an aura that stands out brightly. My vision is probably another reason on why I do not like potions. It does not depend too much on magic for me to focus. I can get the ingredients right, but the timing and when to put them in the cauldron is hard because I cannot see the potion well while it is brewing."

Snape had an idea brewing. "I am sure Madame Pomfrey can take care of your vision permanently. However, you need to decide where you want to go."

"Lady Hogwarts has already decided that for me. She has already created a room for me. I would have chosen a separate room anyway. I have a few true friends that I do not want to lose Luna, Neville, Fred, and George (though they are no longer in school). I think that Blaise and Draco would need to be able to reach me. It seems that my magic calls out to them, and they would not be able to get to me in Gryffindor tower. If I went to the dungeons; then I could alienate my few true friends."

Snape nodded. "That is very wise."

Harry's look turned serious as he looked at all three of them. "I heard the prophecy. I know that I am not long from death. I know that there is no way I can get out of facing Voldemort. I will need help; if I want to live through it all."

He pinched the bridge of his nose as he told them what he knew about Voldemort. He also told them what Dumbledore wanted him to do. "I know that Dumbledore has not said anything, but I think I have a piece of him in me. I felt it strongly last year."

Harry took several deep breathes. "I am not courageous. I am not a hero. I do not want to be the Chosen One, either. I am just truly scared and frightened and have a deep desire not to die. I have never had a family or truly felt loved. I want those things before I must die. It is those things that keep me going and fighting besides the fact that I think everyone ought to be equal. I would like to learn about this world that I am supposed to save. I truly do not want my ignorance to turn to hatred."

Snape smirked. "That is incredibly wise. It may be part of the reason that your magic bonded you with two old pureblood families; so, you can all learn about each side and understand them."

Snape rose to leave. He made a comment about them behaving when the Gryffindors start to come and visit. He rolled his eyes when Draco made a comment that they would, because Harry's magic would do it for them.

The boys just grinned. Madame Pomfrey came in periodically to ask questions. She performed a vision exam. She promised to have someone that can correct his eyes permanently by the end of the day. The boys just relaxed and talked about many things.
