Chapter 10

"Daddy!"

"Hey Izzy!" he smiled and picked up his child. "How was your trip?" He leaned forward and gave Amy a little kiss. They had only just arrived from England.

"Hi sweetie," he said to her.

"Hello Darling. Our trip was fine."

"Mum bought me ice cream!" Izzy said excitedly.

"Did she now?" he asked and looked at Amy, waiting for an explanation. He was kinda strict on the whole candy thing. Even if he was very young he still knew how to be a good father, involving candy every day and whenever you pleased wasn't one of the good things.

"He kept asking. I just wanted to shut him up!" she defended her self, causing Harry to laugh. She knew Harry was hard on the rules for Izzy, through.

"It's OK," he said. "It was the first time he travelled from a wizarding airport. He deserved it."

Amy smiled her thanks to him for not accusing her.

"I think you'll like it where you'll sleep, Iz. It's awesome!" Harry told him. Izzy's eyes widened.

"Mum told me you're in Rock! She told me all about the houses."

Harry raised his eyebrows.

"How did you know?" he asked Amy.

"I heard a girl talk about you in the entrance hall. Besides, I never had any doubts you'd end up in Rock. It's just plain you."

Harry's friends came over and joined them. Tamlin had caught the last words that were said between them.

"I'd say you'd be a Rock as well, little fella," Tamlin said to Izzy.

"No kidding?" Izzy asked amazing.

"No kidding," they all assured him.

"Cool! I'd be just like dad. He's the best!" he exclaimed and Amy laughed and the innocent child. Even through he hadn't always had it easy.

"Yes your dad is the best of us," Nicko said seriously and Izzy nodded.

"Er, Izzy, shall we take a look at our room then?" Harry asked. He didn't like his friends to praise him like some kind of a god. Nico whispered in his ear.

"Don't run away from it when you know it's the truth. You're above us all. You're the chosen one."

Harry nodded shortly. He knew but he didn't want to know. He was above them all in power, and he was the only one to take out Voldemort.

"Dad! Help me on to the bed!" Harry lifted Izzy so he could reach the bed.

"We can make the bed lower," Demon offered.

"Or we can add a ladder," said David. He watched the bed critically, measuring the height.

"I'd like a ladder!" Izzy exclaimed from above.

"Alright. We can add one. Let's baby secure it so he won't fall," Harry suggested and the other nodded. They discussed the best charms to go about and do it with before they set to work. Soon enough, there was a ladder on the side of the bed. If Izzy would fall he'd be slowed down and he'd touch the ground, which would be soft as a feather. They had made a secure area around the bed in case Izzy would roll of in the night, and Harry also added some protective walls on the edges of the bed so he wouldn't fall of in the first place.

"Where will I be sleeping?" Amy asked.

"You'll sleep in the girls form. Come on, we'll show you," said Tamlin. They went up the left stair. In this school there was no protection against the boys entering the girls dorms. Everyone was fine with how it was. Tamlin knocked after Jeff stopped him from running in without any warning.

"Who is it?" a voice asked them.

"Hello lore lei! It's us!" Tamlin said in a cheery voice, making the other's groan.

"Come in Tamlin," said Lorelei. Tamlin entered with the others close behind him. Tamlin went over to Lorelei and kissed her hand in a teasing manner before he plopped down on her bed. Lorelei rolled her eyes before she spotted Amy.

"Hi. I'm Lorelei Moore. Welcome! You must be Amy," she said and flipped her long red head. She was a very pretty girl and she was quite tall.

"Yes, Amy's right. Nice to meet you."

"Hi," said a girl coming from the bathroom.

"Hi, I'm Amy."

"Oh yes! We've been waiting for you. I'm Carmen Cassis, that's Suzi Shoup, Lizzy Queen and Tricky trick," Carmen introduced as more girls came from the bathroom. "Laura and Denise should be here but I think they've sneaked of to the kitchens. Anyway, we're Rock's sixth years." All the girls were very nice and Harry had no doubt they'd get long. Dave voiced his thoughts

"I think you'll get along just fine girls!" Dave said and kissed Carmen's cheek.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Stay away from the boys. They'll kiss or hug you whenever you're near," Carmen warned Amy and glared at the boys, but they could all see she didn't really mean it.

"We wouldn't dare to touch Harry's girl," said Jeff and blew a kiss to Amy. Tamlin smacked Jeff upon the head.

Harry smiled. He didn't mind his mates hugging or kissing Amy's forehead or something. He knew they didn't mean anything with it, they were only joking. They would never try to steal her from him; they were fair and honest people.

"Yeah. I'll keep it in mind," Amy said with a careful look in Jeff's direction.

"Let's put Izzy to bed, he looks very tired," said Harry. But Izzy didn't look tired at all. He was watching them all with wide eyes. He had probably never seen such a display before. Izzy also seemed quite taken by Lorelei's hair. Harry didn't blame him. Her curly long dark red hair with highlights was extremely pretty.

"You would also be tired if you had travelled that far as a curious four years old!" Carmen said.

"I've got the feeling the girls gonna fuss over him," said Nicko. Harry shrugged as Amy picked up Izzy and began to walk towards the boys' dormitory with him.

"Let them. He need some fuss," said Harry and the others nodded. They knew Izzy's history that wasn't pretty.

"As long as you don't give him too much candy," he added hastily.

"Why are you so overprotective about candy anyways? He's all skin and bones, it will only do him good to fatten up a little," said Jeff.

Harry frowned.

"He's only four. He can't get used to candy in an early age. He'd look like a giant football when he's older. And candy gives him no vitamins, proteins and such. What he need is healthy food so he can grow like a normal child would. Candy doesn't provide him with all that he needs to grow. That's why he needs food, not candy. And I want him to have health teeth-"

"I think Harry's right in the long run boyz n gurls," Dave interrupted him and the others nodded.

"Look, why don't you go help Amy to put Izzy in bed?" Harry asked Carmen. The girls left.

"Harry, I know it's late but that's when we're awake and best," Jeff began.

"Yeah! The darkness is our friend. Anyway, what about a audition of songs?" Dave asked. "We need a program."

"But only Rock, Nicko," Tamlin reminded. They looked around at each other.

"Where shall we have this audition?" Harry asked at last.

"Down underneath the dungeons."

"Deep down," Demon added after Nicko. Harry sighed. Deep down underneath the already deep down dungeons… Great. He sighed. This is gonna be a long fucking night. But I think I'll enjoy it. I suppose it's not that bad. Apart from being deep down under the earth that will say….

"Harry, could you sing that part higher by any chance?" Nicko asked a few hours later when they played through some songs they thought would fit into their show.

"I'll try, let's take it straight from the chorus, ok?" Harry asked. "One, two, three… In heaven, to be with you in heaven…." The music quieted down once more. "How's that?" Harry asked the others.

"It's good," Tamlin said and nodded. He liked it very much. They began to play the song again. Harry gave all he could, just like the others did. It didn't matter if this was only their first jam together. He wanted it good and so did the others. They were perfectionists in music.

"That was perfect Tamlin, try play it darker through. I think it would be a cooler sound," Demon said. Tamlin had only just finished a guitar solo. Demon and Tamlin took turns in playing lead guitar since they were both equally skilled in the area.

"If you insist;" Tamlin said and bowed playfully.

Harry jumped into the conversation.

"Can't we speed up the whole song?" he asked as he played with his mic between his hands.

"I think we could, but we don't want it too speedy. That would destroy it…" Dave said thoughtfully and played the drums a little bit faster, only him. The others clapped the rhythm.

"Shall we play it like that then?" Jeff on the bas asked.

"Let's try," Tamlin said and jumped right into the song with his guitar. The others followed and Harry began to sing after he had found out where they were.

After they had played it through they reviewed it.

"It's possible to keep it like this," Jeff said.

"I think it was alright. I like it when the solo is faster," Demon added.

"Let's do it like that then!" Nicko said.

In the end they had a massive program in their hands based on Rock and hits only. It was a program good for 40 tunes and don't forget the scenes in between. They had sine jokes, and mysterious, symbolic scenes. The biggest surprise was meant for Hogwarts, however. The surprise came in form of Harry. They thought he was in school when it actually was Tamlin's brother posing as him. So that secret would be revealed in the show. Harry could hardly wait to see Hermione's and Ron's faces when they'd realise the truth. Neither could he wait to se the teachers' reactions. It ought to be funny. Of course they would have noticed "he" (Tamlin's brother) had acted a little bit odd, but to judge by Tamlin's brother's letters that he wrote twice a week no one had mentioned the change.

"Good night Lightening," said Jeff later that night.

"What?" Harry asked and turned around in bed to watch Jeff.

"Lightening! It's a great idea," said Dave.

Harry was looking from one to the other where he lay in bed.

"So can we all you that… please?" Tamlin asked.

"Alright," he said. He knew there was no idea arguing. They all him whatever they damned pleased no matter what.

"Good Night Lightening!" Everyone said.
