"I want that," Saracen whispered, eyeing the stuffed penguin. Dexter, who was holding Saracen up, and preventing him from falling, raised his eyes in amusement.

"Have you ever even had a stuffed animal?"

Saracen, though, was dead serious. He looked at Dexter and repeated, "I want it."

Dexter sighed, "Are you sure?"

Saracen nodded eagerly, "I do."

"Fine. I'll get it for you," Dexter muttered, confident that once Saracen sobered, the stuffed animal would be thrown out, and all that was left would be Dexter's memory and occasional throw-backs to make sure Saracen remembered; Dexter saw this as another thing he can make fun of Saracen for.

Saracen grinned, a sheepish look plastered all over his face, "Really?"

Dexter nodded, stifling a laugh.

LATER

The stuffed penguin had not been thrown out. Saracen was cuddling it to his chest, and Dexter was watching happily, welcoming Saracen's new show of cuteness.

Later, the penguin was named Kiki upon Saracen's insistence. He believed it was a cute penguin name. Dexter agreed.

Kiki became a new member of their family.
