Midnight murder!
I clocked in ten minutes ago at six pm it was two weeks after I joined the Las Vegas crime lab on Halloween.
I went down to the autopsy room did some weighing of the hearts, lungs and large intestines.
Took trace elements from the bodies and wrote reports about the six bodies that had come in.
Six hours had gone by I went and gave Joe Dali some autopsy reports.
I went into my office and settled down to do some paper work.
Greg came in the room "Hey Meygan" said Greg.
"Yes Greg" I said annoyed.
"Ooh touchy" he said sarcastically.
"Have you seen my note book?" I asked.
"Yes behind you on top of the filing cabinet" he pointed to it as he said it.
"Thanks, I've got a report to do" I sat back down from getting it as I spoke.
"Why? It's midnight lets go outside" he suggested pulling me to my feet.
"Okay" I said letting him.
Once we were out side he suggested a walk I said yes we were walking when we saw Conrad Ecklie.
"What are you doing here Conrad?" I asked.
"Just looking for some thing" Ecklie said nastily.
"Okay, no need to bite her head off" Greg said.
"Don't bother come on Greg" I said.
"Okay lets go" Greg said Ecklie left.
Greg walked past the bin and it fell over, body parts fell out Greg and I were shocked my hands flew to my mouth Greg had a look of pure terror on his face.
"Greg what's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing, I'm just thinking it could have been you or me" Greg answered confused.
"It's okay, we'll solve this case" I said reassuringly.
"So what the hell is this?" Greg asked.
I found an I.D. badge it said Enrique Monagan/Coroner "Oh no, it's Enrique" I said upset.
"Great, Ecklie killed him" Greg said annoyed.
"We don't know that yet Greg" I said knowingly.
"Well let's find the proof" he said.
"I've got to find out if it is Enrique, I'll take this down to my autopsy room and work this out" I said.
"Okay" Greg said.
I took it down to my autopsy room and to my horror there was blood, epidermis and hair all over my autopsy table.
I tested it, it was Enrique's D.N.A.I almost fainted.
I found Ecklie's prints on my tools as well as Enrique's D.N.A.
We went to the interrogation room and asked Ecklie why he did it.
He said because you wouldn't do my autopsies first'.
Then the officer arrested him.
