Adam: Hunger. It's a natural instinct most living things need in order to survive. I mean, we do need to fill our stomachs to be able to do stuff
Randy: But by the graces of Zenos! These two take hunger on a literal planetary scale. Galactus, Marvel's Devourer of Worlds.
Adam: And Unicron, the Chaos Bringer from Transformers.
Randy: He's Adam and I'm Randy.
Adam: And it's out job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win... a DEATH BATTLE.
Galactus hungers for a DEATH BATTLE
(Galactus' Theme - Marvel vs Capcom 3)
Adam: Galactus is the sole survivor of the sixth incarnation of the Multiverse. Originally Galactus was a humanoid named Galan, born in the previous incarnation of Earth-616 on the planet Taa, a paradise-like world whose civilization is said to have been the most advanced of any of the known universe of that time.
Randy: However, the Sixth Infinity and all its universes were in their final stages of collapse due to the multiversal renewal cycle.
Adam: Originally, like all universes in the Multiverse, this universe had been a "Cosmic Egg"; a primal sphere of disorganized, dense, compact primordial matter. The sphere underwent a "Big Bang," an explosion that hurled the matter outwards, where much of it eventually condensed into stars and planets.
Randy: Taa's civilization was one of the last still in existence. Lethal radiation caused by the "Big Crunch" this universe was experiencing was wiping out all life across the universe. Galan, a space explorer, was dispatched to travel through the cosmos to find a means of saving Taa, but he found none. The radiation eventually killed off all but a tiny fraction of the population of Taa. Knowing their deaths were inevitable.
Randy: Galan proposed to the remaining survivors that they die gloriously by piloting one of their starships directly into the heart of the "Cosmic Egg." As the starship containing Galan and his fellow survivors approached the focal point of the Big Crunch, the heat and radiation killed all the passengers except Galan, who strangely found himself filled with new energy.
Adam: When the cosmos was going to meet its natural end, Galan was then approached by the embodiment of the Sixth Infinity, the Sentience of the Multiverse, who merged its essence with the mortal Galan, this way giving birth to a new entity who would survive the multiversal renewal: Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds.
Randy: Realizing the danger the nascent Galactus posed to the cosmos, this Watcher considered destroying the entity; who was still vulnerable due to his metamorphic state; but instead decided to abide by the Watchers' oath of non-interference, and let the nascent Galactus depart in his starship.
Adam: Although over time the Watcher race has come to understand that Galactus is an intrinsic and necessary component to the natural order of the cosmos, Ecce has expressed guilt over his decision those billions of years ago and feels partially responsible for the destruction Galactus has caused since.

Adam: Galactus has demonstrated strength that is proven to be on a solar scale and has cosmic-level durability, capable of shrugging of hits from equal or even higher tier opponents. He can grows to the size of the star, is immortal and capable of teleporting.
Randy: He fire cosmic beams from his hands or eyes, create complex, sentient, biological or bio-technical life-forms seemingly from nothing, or at least using his control over molecules to do so. The Power Cosmic is what makes Galactus a powerful and deadly opponent. This gave him god-like powers and is considered an omnipotent being with it. He can also give his heralds some of his powers, though he can easily take it away from them if he felt like they betray him.
Adam: But Galactus also has some gears at his side if he ever feels threatened or needs to get the done job faster. His Elemental Converter allows him to absorb the energy of the planet he consumes more easily, though has has consumed planets without them. His most versatile and powerful though is the Ultimate Nullifier. This weapon is said to be "the universe's most devastating weapon", capable of destroying entire timelines from beginning to end.
Popup: At full power, the Nullifier can destroy a galaxy in the microsecond.
Randy: And the one who uses if the his or her mind isn't strong enough. And if for some reason got stolen, Galactus can, somehow, make the Nullifier return to him. One time, he recalled the Nullifier to himself at will, even from the grasp of Abraxas himself, the Multiversal embodiment of destruction.

Galactus is beyond the Soul Gem's power
Can devour planets without his machines
Teleports an entire galaxy with a mere gesture
Teleports himself and a legion of heroes from a hole in reality to his ship

As "The Lifebringer", Galactus was able to defeat both Master Order and Lord Chaos at their most powerful
During the "Time Bubble"/"Black Celestial" story arc Galactus was going to devour an entire universe
Ate all the twinkies on Earth and ate a twinkie planet. (Actually a dream of a dream of a dream...)
Doctor Doom states that a reality warping Cosmic Cube amplified by Anilhilus's Comsic Control Rod is a fraction of Galactus' power
Adam: With the Power Cosmic and Ultimate Nullifier, Galactus has more than earned his right as one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel multiverse. While on the brink of starvation, Galactus has shrugged of the combined attacks of the Avengers and Fantastic Four.
Randy: His mental powers has even resisted telepaths like Professor X and Magneto. He was headbutted by the All-father Odin and was okay, whereas Odin was knocked out.
Adam: He even withstood two planets colliding into him and while fully fed, he went toe-to-toe with four Celestial, defeating one of them before the remaining three had to fuse in order to beat Galactus.
Randy: And as the Lifebringer, he simultaneously defeated Master Order and a Lord of Chaos at once even when they're at their strongest.
Popup: Galactus no longer has the power as the Lifebringer and therefore cannot be used in this fight.
Randy: Hell, this guy's so strong, his soul proved too much for even the Soul Gem, you know, one of the six Infinity Stones that make up the Infinity Gauntlet?
Adam: And depending on his hunger, Galactus can grow from Asgardian to planet and star levels of size. He once grew big enough to wrestle the Wraithworld sun.
Weaknesses
Cosmic Hunger, needs to absorb energy to sustain himself and the longer he goes without feeding, the weaker he gets
Can be defeated by high-tier cosmic entities e.g. Hunger, Marquis of Death, Thanos (W/Infinity Gauntlet), Combined Mad Celestial, Phoenix Force, Cyttorak, Amatsu-Mikaboshi (Chaos King Form), Goblin Entity, Molecule Man, and the Beyonder.
While weakened, he was once defeated by Ghost Rider via Penance Stare (tv canon)
Can be quite arrogant at times
Lack of skill in combat, almost always allowing himself to take hits instead of avoiding them and doesn't use his various powers as tactically as he could
His Rise of the Silver Surfer version is a cloud
Adam: But even a being like Galactus has his weaknesses. His biggest is that of cosmic hunger. He needs energy from planets to consume so the longer he fight without it, he weakens and begins starving.
Randy: And let's not forget the time he was put into a coma by the Ghost Rider's Penance Stare, turning all of the pain the souls Galactus has snuffed out against him. And he can be poisoned, such as the time he tried to absorb the Old Power which nearly killed him.
Popup: Reed Richards also used the Ultimate Nullifier against Galactus, though he claimed it had its safety on the first time.
Adam: Galactus has been defeated by Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet. And despite possessing the Power Cosmic, Galactu's main strategy is to just stand there and take hits instead of blocking or dodging them, which sometimes comes back to bite him in the ass.
Randy: Also, I'm pretty sure Galactus isn't a cloud like what the movie Rise of the Silver Surfer did. You think those could could at least pay homage to the comics the way MCU does.
Adam: But one thing's for sure, if Galactus arrives at your world, you better pray he's either not in the mood or has been fed, if not, well, it sucks to be you.
Ego: I am an entire world!
Ego fires energy beams from his eyes at Galactus, but the Devourer of Worlds easily shrugged off his attacks.
Galactus: Hmph, your words are true. But in all of space, I stand alone.
Galactus gathers energy from his hands and begins blasting Ego the living planet with his own energy beams.
Galactus: I am Galactus, the be-all and end-all of the universe!
Unicron brings Chaos into DEATH BATTLE
(Unicron Medley - Transformers: The Movie)
Randy: Planet eating monster, corrector of the imbalances between the conceptual entities known as Eternity and Death, and the possessor of a weapon of absolute destruction. We are talking about none other than Unicron.
Adam: Before the beginning of time, there was only a cosmic entity known as The One.
Randy: So, Neo from the Matrix?
Adam: No, it's just The One. And he ended up creating Unicron, and used him as a means to explore one of the universes while it was in it's infancy. And overtime Unicron was split in half-
Randy: He was split in half? Well shit, that's one way to end off a planet consuming cosmic god. Not to mention his size is also inconsistent.
Popup: Unicron's official size depends on the continuity. G1 is as large as Cybertron, Marvel Comics is said to be as big as Saturn, IDW is said to grow as large enough to either hold Earth in his grasp or that of an entire solar system. Some versions even depict that Unicron is planet Earth itself.
Adam: No, no. He was metaphorically split in half, creating Primus. The two of them were sent to traverse the cosmos to finish their mission, but Primus was aware of Unicron's incredibly destructive nature as eons passed. And because of this, he fought against him due to him being a threat to all universal life.
Randy: But it was basically a child trying to kick a grown man's ass, as Unicron heavily outclassed him in physical strength. But, Primus was able to outsmart Unicron by moving the battle into the physical world, where their essences manifested within two large metallic asteroids. Trapping them both for many years. Though both would eventually return, with Unicron gaining a robot and planet form
Adam: Primus would do the same, becoming Cybertron and created The Thirteen to aid in the fight against Unicron, as the conflict reached it's climax as one of the members in The Thirteen ended up turning against Primus, and becoming The Fallen. But despite this, Primus and the rest of The Thirteen managed to prevail in the fight against Unicron.
Randy: Knowing that he would eventually return, Primus went into a hibernation state, as Unicron would travel from reality to reality, the sole reason for the chaos and destruction of countless worlds and several different realities, as the multiversal singularity.
Adam: Unicron's motive is seeking the absolute destruction to be the only being in the multiverse, as a single Dark God.

Adam: As Primus' equal and a multiversal singularity, Unicron is one powerful Transformer. As a non-corporeal entity, he can create bodies and can even transfer his body into another planet to make it his new one. He can fire energy beams from his eyes and unleash a fire breath from his mouth, and can even control the souls of the dead via Dark Energon.
Randy: A fragment of him was powerful enough to attack the minds of an entire population. He was also able to physically mutate the population. He manipulated Galvatron's mind and talks to him telepathically. In Transformers Prime, Unicron manipulates Megatron to act as his vessel.
Adam: Like Primus, Unicron is immortal and cannot age. And should his body be destroyed, he can simply transfer his soul into a planet to create a whole new body, or simply take over the bodies of Cybertonians via Dark Energon. And being the Chaos Bringer, he can also feed on hatred and corruption.
Randy: Unicron can consume spacetime itself, create pocket dimensions and universes, and summon beings from different points in time and space. In the Cybertron cartoon, his death created a black hole that threatened the multiverse. Add if that's not enough, he has the Dead Matrix.
Adam: Like all Matrix, the Dead Matrix was originally one of the Matrices of Leaderships, but it was corrupted overtime, granting Unicron the opportunity to turned into a weapon of mass destruction.
Randy: It's been even shown that the Dread Matrix has the ability to destroy Primus in all realities simultaneously, and it is said that if Unicron succeeds in accomplishing this, he will gain the ability to destabilize the entire multiverse. Albeit he has never accomplished this, but the threat that the Dead Matrix poses cannot be ignored.
Feats
Devoured approximately 22.56% known universes
Before the current multiverse, Unicron ate all of existence in the past
The fight between Primus and Unicron in their robot forms shook the universe
Unicron wasn't harmed by the Big Bang, the very same one that created the Transformer multiverse
Considered to be superior to Primus in combat
Manage to get The Fallen to betray Primus and join him
Created the Min-Cons in Aurex, the universe of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family. The legends says that the Mini-Cons have the power to destroyed or save the universe
Flew to Cybertron in seconds and reacted to numerous Starfighters
Can torture Megatron/Galvatron from across star systems, possessing his Armada/Energon and Prime counterparts
Exists across the multiverse, can pull heralds from across space and time
Was smashing Saturn-sized Cybertron, ate Lithone and both of Cybertron's Moon Base
Was undamaged from Cybertron's moon exploding inside him
Is described as an omnipotent being and older than time itself by Rodimus
Unicron (weakened and damaged) can destroy by opening portals between universes and bringing transformers from other universes
Flew between two twin stars in a matter of seconds
The dark spark of Unicron can go through 700 light years in a short time
In the Cybertron cartoon, his death created a black hole called the Unicron Singularity, which threatened the multiverse
In some continuities, he is planet Earth itself
Adam: Unicron proved to be a formidable foe all those around him. He has currently devoured 22.56% of the 15 quadrillion concurrent universes of the Transformers multiverse. He's considered to be superior to Primus in physical strength to the point that Primus had to trick him into turning into a planet. He spotted the planet Lithone several miles away and managed to devour it minutes later.
Popup: In the Armarda Series, the Mini-Cons launched a combined assault on him which Optimus Prime said could destroy the universe, yet Unicron still survived.
Randy: Hell, in the Cybertron cartoon, his death created a black hole called the Unicron Singularity, which threatened the multiverse, Meaning even in death, Unicron is the ultimate force of destruction.
Adam: And according to Rodimus, Unciron is said to be an omnipotent being that is older than even time itself. And has made Megatron, or Galvatron in several continuities, his servant by either forcing him or taking over via Dark Energon.
Weaknesses
Incredible physical impacts can still overpower Unicron
The Planet Q was detonated in order to successfully blow up Unicron, but only when it was previously weakened by the combined power of the Mini-Cons
He is deeply afraid of his brother Primus, despite the fact that it is almost certain he would be victorious in a head to head fight
The Matrix of Leadership
Has a susceptible energy form in Beast Wars: Neo
Acts of sacrifice, pacifism or heroism can harm Unicron so long as they aren't influenced by hatred
His physical form would've apparently been destroyed by a solar cannon built by a time-hopping Galvatron
Randy: With all of the powers Unicron possess, you'd think he'd never lose, right? WRONG! As strong as he is, Unicron can still be harmed by physical attacks. And since he's technically a Transformer, he has the same weaknesses like any Transformer has.
Adam: He's arrogant to a fault and weapons like the Matrix of Leadership are strong enough to destroy him, though since he's a non-corporeal entity, he'll eventually return.
Popup: In DEATH BATTLE's Optimus Prime vs Gundam, the Matrix of Leadership's energy output required to obliterate Unicron would be at least 40 (40x10^24) yottatons of TNT.
Randy: Ironically, Unicron fears his brother Primus despite the fact he was considered superior in strength.
Adam: Unicron is also fueled by hatred and corruption, so acts like sacrifice, heroism and pacifism can hurt him.
Randy: Still, I'd rather fight Doomsday than Unicron.
Galvatron looks on in shock as Unicron begins transforming into his robot mode.
Unicron: For a time, I considered sparing your wretched little planet Cybertron. But now, you shall witness... its DISMEMBERMENT!
Unicron begins heading towards Cybertron as the Decepticon leader hangs on.
Galvatron: Noooooooooooooo!
Once Unicron flew close enough to Cybertron, he raises his arms and begins smashing the planet to bits.
Adam: All right, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Adam and Randy: It's time... For a DEATH BATTLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Space
(Gods of Destruction - Brandon Yates)
A purple and blue being known as Galactus is seen travelling the galaxy in search of energy to feed on.
All of a sudden, a huge yellow and gray planet with golden "rings" around it and two spikes in front as if it were mandibles is seen passing by. Galactus was intrigued by it.
Galactus: Strange planet, but nonetheless this will satisfy my hunger.
Galactus rears his fist back and punches as hard as he could. But to his surprise, the planet transforms into a giant robot known as Unicron.
Unicron: *Scowls* You dare raise your hand against the mighty Unicron?!
The Devourer of Worlds laughs, dismissing the robot's threat. He then got into a pose and grew big enough to rival Unicron.
Galactus: You do not threaten me. Once I defeat you, you're energy will suffice me for decades to come.
Unicron growls as his eyes glowed green as he spreads his wings.
Unicron: I am the all powerful Unicron. You can never destroy me.
Galactus narrowed his eyes as he clenches his fists.
Galactus: You will fall before the might of Galactus.
FIGHT!
Unicron and Galactus flies at each other with their fists cocked back. They threw a punch that sent a powerful shockwave that sent both cosmic beings back. They began channeling green and blue energy into their hands before blasting each other with energy attacks. But they're barely even fazed by the other's efforts.
Unicron then charges Galactus, backhanding him with his shoulder blades. Galactus retaliates by punching Unicron in the face. However, attack did nothing but piss off the Lord of Chaos.
Unicron: You will pay!
Unicron fire eyes beams at Galactus, forcing him to summon a forcefield to block the attack. He then flies forward and shatters Galactus' shield before repeatedly punching Galactus in the face and kicks him away.
The Chaos Bringer fires an intense energy straight into Galatus' chest, but it barely even fazed him, let alone pierce his armor. Galactus getting more irritated with every passing second. Galactus grabbed Unicron's wrist and punches him across the face, breaking one of his eyes.
Unicron roars in pain as he clutches his damaged eye. Seeing his enemy stunned, Galactus telepathically grabs a nearby planets spins it around his head and slings it at Unicron, sending both flying towards another planet, which results in two of them exploding between Unicron.
Out of nowhere, a large Energon hammer is sent hurling into Galactus, knocking him back before Unicron tackles him into another planet. Both cosmic beings fell into the planet's surface, creating a cloud of smoke. Galactus, who is now the size of a skyscraper, gets up and growls intensely as he glares at Unicron, who is now equally small.
Galactus: Enough games! You will-
The Devourer of Worlds stops mid-sentence as he was about prepared to attack Unicron, he was confused to see numerous Stone Avatars of Unicron forming in front of him. The Stone Unicron Avatars all charge at Galactus. The real Unicron begins laughing uncontrollably in the distance.
Galactus shattering every passing avatar with only his fists, before a bold avatar clawed into his face. Galactus looks up in anger at the avatar, punching into his chest lifting him above his head and ripped it in half tossing it into multiple surrounding avatars. Unicron teleports behind Galactus, slashing him across the back with an Energon sword.
Galactus growls in anger and frustration and pain as Unicron stabbed him in the hip with his shoulder blades. Galactus reacted quickly, gripping the blades in his body twisting them violently and ripping it off Unicron's shoulders.
Unicron: AAAAAHHH!
Unicron screams in pain as Galactus blasted Unicron with a powerful energy blast. Unicron emerges from this enveloped in a forcefield while blasting back at Galactus, who simply absorbed it. The two beings charge at each other both covered in forcefields. Unicron and Galactus continuously punch each other with neither gaining a true edge.
Until Galactus absorbed Unicron's shield and kicked him in the face before blasting him with another energy beam. Galactus then whips out his Ultimate Nullifier.
Galactus: Time to end this!
He fires it straight into Unicron's chest. The Chaos Bringer screams in pain as he, the timeline and entire universe is destroyed as white light emitted blinds the screen. When all is said and done, Galactus lowers his arms and starts boasting.
Galactus: No mortal or god can match my power. I am unbeatable. I am death. I AM GALAC-
A large green energy beam struck Galactus in the back, interrupting his speech. The Devourer of Worlds turns and is absolute shocked by the return of a revived, Saturn-sized Unicron.
Galactus: No, impossible!
Unicron: *laughs* You can never destroy me! I will wipe you from existence!
Feeling his powers getting weaker as a result of his hunger, Galactus desperately fires multiple energy blasts at Unicron, who now simply shrugs off his attacks. He then uses his tendrils to impale Galactus in the chest, causing him to scream in pain and of his tendrils removes Galactus' hemlet.
Unicron then opens his mouth and begins inhaling Galactus, with his tendrils assisting him.
Unicron: I'll end your life. Right here, right now!
Galactus: NOOOOOOOOO!
Galactus is then completely consumed by the Lord of Chaos. Unicron closes his mouth and straightens up, laughing as he knows he's won.
Unicron: It's done.
Unicron then transforms into his planet mode and begins searching for another planet to consume.
KO!
* Galactus' helmet drifts off in space.
* Unicron finds Earth-616 and begins attacks the planet with the Avengers, Young Avengers, X-Men, Ultimates, and Fantastic Four trying to stop him.
Results
(Gods of Destruction again)
Randy: *Looks at Adam* Sooooo, are we gonna help them stop Unicron? Cause I see Carol up there. And I'm pretty she's gonna be pissed and make you sleep in the doghouse if she finds out we're in here doing this rather than helping them out.
Adam: *Nervously laughs* Eh, I'm they'll be fine. But first we need to talk on why Unicron managed to best the Devourer of Worlds and not get Marvel fans piss at us.
Randy: First off, Galactus is physically stronger than Unicron. Unicron's avatars pale in comparison and has several ways to defeat Unicron, such as the Ultimate Nullifier. But believe it or not, Unicron has several permanent advantages over Galactus. While it's true that Galactus' physicality is greater than that of Unicron, Unicron can easily regenerate a new body due to being a singularity. Galactus may be powerful to stop Unicron on a physical plane, but he can't destroy every Unicron in every universe. You can kill all the bodies Unicron can create, but you can't kill even one of his souls.
Adam: Another advantage Unicron has is experience. Unicron has been around even before time itself existed, while Galactus has been born way earlier than that.
Popup: Unlike Galactus, Unicron can feed on corruption and evil and he doesn't require a body to survive, whereas Galactus needs energy from planets to sustain himself. Even if I put both at their strongest with a fully fed Galactus, Galactus' cosmic hunger will make him weaker in the long run.
Randy: But there are ways Galactus could potentially end Unicron. His Ultimate Nullifier has the capability to destroy multiverses and can technically consume Dark Energon since it's energy.
Adam: Except there are problems with that. First off, being a villain himself Galactus cannot generate the same positive energy like the Matrices of Leaderships, so he's fighting with fire. Which isn't a good thing against someone like Unicron. While Galactus is the sole survivor of the sixth incarnation of the Multiverse, Unicron himself is the center of the Multiverse.
Randy: Which means like the Matrix of Leadership, Unicron can delay the effects of the Ultimate Nullifier. Even then, Unicron could simply regenerate. I mean, Galactus is a powerful being that has the power to rival gods, while Unicron is already one due to being a singularity.
Adam: Not only that, but if Galactus were to try and consume the Dark Energon, Unicron will take control over Galactus' body much like anyone who tries to absorb the energy of the Dark Energon. Take the time Galactus was nearly poisoned to death when he tried to absorb the Old Power.
Randy: And if you think about, Unicron has few exploitable weaknesses Galactus cannot take advantage of, while Galactus has a multitude of weaknesses that Unicron can capitalize on.
Adam: Galactus was a powerful combatant, but Unicron's strength, Dark Energon and inevitable resurrection proved too much for the Devourer of Worlds.
Randy: Looks like Galactus' Cosmic demise was all but Nullified.
Adam: The winner is Unicron.
* The connections between Galactus and Unicron is that both are giant beings with an appetite for planets, possess near-omnipotent powers and are the embodiments of a multiverse (Galactus being the sole survivor of the six incarnation of the Multiverse and Unicron being a singularity of the Transformer multiverse alongside Primus)
* Both are considered threats to the heroes of Earth (The Avengers to Galactus and the Autobots to Unicron)
* Both are also known to have heralds at their summoning (Silver Surfer to Galactus and Megatron to Unicron)
* Coincidentally, Transformers is also owned by Marvel Comics, but these two have never fought canonically
