Chapter 19: The Song of the Ancients pt 2

Randy couldn't believe his eyes. He couldn't believe at what he is seeing. He never thought that inside a temple could be so… so… so different. I mean here he is, inside a temple with Brie and standing there with his eyes wide, jaws drop like a stupid idiot. The scenery of this place can certainly take your breath away just from looking at it with your own eyes, and if this was breathtaking then he wonder what other place look like inside the temple.

He looks around the room in complete awe, taking everything in just so he won't forget. Who knew that inside an ancient temple can be so… beautiful? No. Amazing? No, that's not it. Outstanding? Randy shook his head as he try to find the right word for this scenery like something to describe it, something that fits it perfectly but what is it exactly? He took one more glance around, looking at the statue, the art, the waterfall and how the water reflected off the ceiling; everything just looks so… so…

"Magnificent." He whispered causing Brie to chuckle.

"I know huh." She said walking to the stairs with her master following behind. As they walked, Randy couldn't help but look at the drawings above their head. Whoever made this temple must have put a lot of thought into it. He stops for moment and lean over the stairs to stare at the water, transfixed by the beauty of it before he squint his eyes when he saw something sparkling underneath. Underneath the water are seashells in different colors and sizes as the light shine on them, making it look like they're sparkling.

"Beautiful."

"Randy, come here." Randy step back from the edge and walk over to Brie, who is standing in front of the statue "look at this statue." She said once he got close enough. He looks up at the statue, gazing at it with wonder as he put his hand on it "pretty cool right?"

"Yeah." He began to walk around the statue, rubbing his hand around it "I'm surprise there's no dust on it."

"I'm surprise this place didn't crumble into pieces." He chuckled as he came back around while Brie walks to the ledge. He then looks down to see words etch into the pedestal but written in a different language. He raises an eyebrow before brushing over it just to get rid of the dirt and grime before reading.

"Sol et luna? Hey Brie, come here for a sec." From the sound of her name, the clouded leopard walks back to her master.

"What is it?" She asks as he points at the words.

"What is this?" Brie raises an eyebrow before looking at the words. After reading it, she smiles and turns her head to him.

"That's sol et luna." After seeing his confuse expression, Brie chuckles "it's Latin for sun and moon."

"Wait this is Latin?" She nods "you mean to tell me that the Ancients speak Latin?"

"Yes they do." Randy's eyes widen in shock while Brie laughs "surprising huh."

"Very surprising." He said, stepping back from the statue. He looks at his friend and spoke "so do you know where the room filled with statues is?" Brie raises an eyebrow.

"What statues? There are tons of them." Randy rubs his neck sheepishly.

"Well, Aurora told me to find a room filled with statues. She said it will help me break this seal inside me." Brie's eyes widen a bit.

"You have a seal inside of you?"

"Yeah it's kind of complicated." He answered. Brie shook her head while her master laughs nervously.

"Well, this is new." She said before looking at him "but it doesn't matter. What does matter is how we going to find that room you're talking about." He nods before both of them walk towards the hall across the room "so do you know how to find it?"

"No but she did tell me I will know once I sense it."

"That's very helpful."

"Now you're just being sarcastic."

Somewhere in Norrisville, inside the Weinerman's household and in the kitchen is Howard, staring at his phone with worry. Display on his screen is a phone number of Mr. Cunningham aka Randy's father. He was very surprise that he called him after he got home and to tell you the truth, he doesn't know how he got his number or how he know it was him but he did not expect him to call him. So imagine his surprise when he calls his phone, almost causing him to drop it before answering, and only to realize that his bro's father is talking to him.

Howard frowns, grasping his phone. When they talk on the phone, Mr. Cunningham sounds worry as he asks him where his son is. Now he can tell him that Randy is with him but then he remember what his bro told him that his dad is a walking lie detector… so he told the truth saying he don't know where Randy is and he haven't seen him since Tuesday. The man said his thanks before hanging up thus, leaving Howard alone in the empty house.

"Something's not right." Indeed, something is definitely not right at all. How one person is here but then the next disappears into thin air? Like how does that work? He knows Randy can only disappear by using smoke bombs but disappearing like a magician. Nope, there's no way that can happen.

He sighs, standing up from his chair and walking to his room "come on Cunningham, where are you? Where did you go?" He said opening a door and walking down the steps to his room. As he walks downstairs, he suddenly got another call and without looking at that I.D, answered it "this is Double Dip, who am I speaking to?"

"Howard turn on the TV." He raises an eyebrow as he stops in front of his door.

"Fowler? What's wrong?"

"Just turn on your TV."

"Why?" He asks opening his bedroom door. He heard a groan as he walk into his room "I just want to know Fowler."

"It's about Randy and some giant snake."

"What?"

"It's all over the news." Howard picks up the remote and turn on the TV as it shows the news.

"This is Hillary Samson speaking and I am here in front of McFist-O-Plex, and as you can see there's have been carnage around here. Another victim had been stanked, turning into a giant fox and attacking everyone." As the reporter talk, Howard couldn't help but stare at the screen as he listens to everyone talking to the reporter. His eyes widen when one guy told the reporter about this mysterious lady.

"Mysterious lady?"

"Yes and she had this giant albino Burmese python. It attacks the white ninja and some unknown guy before picking up this kid."

"Do you know what happen to that kid?"

"Well I heard that snake give him to that lady and she just disappeared before those guys catch her; along with that snake. I mean they were there then poof gone." The reporter hums.

"Any idea where she took the kid?" The guy shrugs his shoulders.

"No I don't but whoever the parents of that kid is… I'm sorry and I hope he turn up soon." The reporter said her thanks before looking at the camera.

"Well it seems Norrisville had two snake problems to deal with it. Plus a missing child until we get any description of what he looks like let's just hope the boy is found. Back to you Charles." And just like that everything changes as the remote drop to the floor.

"Howard are you still there?" Theresa asks but Howard ignores her, biting his lips and changing the channel. He couldn't believe that this is happening and to his best friend. What did he do to deserve this? He didn't ask for this and neither did his parents. He gasps as realization hits him.

"Oh god his parents."

"Huh?"

"Theresa… what are we going to tell them?" Theresa raises an eyebrow.

"Tell who?"

"His parents! Randy's parents! What are we going to tell them?" She bit her lips, look outside and stare at the sky before speaking.

"We keep it a secret. Nobody knows that boy is Randy except us… so we keep it to ourselves." Howard frowns.

"What about Azazel and his brothers?" Theresa sighs, leaning back on her chair.

"Nothing until Randy is found." She frowns in worry "we do nothing but wait."

"You've got to be kidding me." Brie said as Randy laugh nervously. In front of the duo is a big boulder blocking their path; which was the one they were in before. Brie's eyebrow twitch while Randy continued to laugh.

"At least nobody else will come this way." He said as Brie slowly turns her head and glare.

"What nobody? We're the only ones here and this boulder." She points her paw at the rock "is blocking our only path of getting out of here." Randy blinks his eyes and smiles behind his mask.

"Oops."

"Oops? Oops!? Randy Cunningham, do you realize that we are now stuck inside an ancient temple with no way out? I don't know if there's another way out of here besides this one."

"It's not my fault."

"Really? So it wasn't you who's step on that pressure plate; which trigger that falling boulder, causing us to run like hell and having our only entrance block?" He frowns.

"How should I know it was a trap?"

"Randy… we're inside a temple that belongs to the Ancients… that was built many years ago… there's bound to be booby traps." Brie answers monotonously. Randy sighs, closing his eyes before opening them again.

"Sorry." Brie's glare soften as she stands up and facing her master.

"It's okay. I should've told you to watch your step."

"Yeah you should."

"Don't make me hit you." Randy chuckles before looking around the area.

"So where do we go from here?"

"Well, we can't go this way." Brie nods her head to the rock before facing the halls "so we got to go this way." She sighs before walking "okay let's go and pray we don't run into more traps."

"Got it." He said before following his friend. As they walk down the hall, Randy couldn't help but feel a slight tingling sensation inside his chest like something is calling him but couldn't hear because he was too far away. He shook off the feeling and continued onward, ignoring it for the time being.

"Say Brie?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you know where Grandma Noah is?" Brie shook her head.

"Sorry I don't. Last time I saw her I was 10 months old." Randy sighs in disappointment, shoulders slumped as they walk down the empty halls "why you ask, sweetie?"

"It's nothing…. I just want to know where she is." Randy wave his hand as he look ahead "I mean I don't remember very much about her but… bits of memories come swarming back to me, and I can't help but feel like I'm missing something." They stopped walking, nearing the end of the hall "I know I haven't see her since I was little, and I know my memories are blurry but I really want to see her again." Brie stares at her master as he grasps his chest. A frown appears behind his masked face as the hand clutch his chest tighter while his friend walked to him.

"Randy…"

"You know… sometimes I wonder… how she's doing in her life, and if she missed me." Brie rubs herself against his leg, trying to comfort him.

"I'm sure she's miss you, sweetie. Besides everything will be okay and I promise you, you will see her again." Randy puts his hand down and looks down at her.

"Really?" Brie nodded.

"Yes and trust me, you will see her when the time comes." Randy smiles before bending down to pet her, making her purr.

"Thank you, Brie."

"You're welcome." She smiles as he stands back up "now let's get a move on." He nods before continuing onward, walking to the end where it splits into two directions. They looked both ways, trying to figure out which way they go from here "any idea of which path we should take?"

"I have no clue." Brie clicks her tongue as he walks to the middle of it.

"Well that's just great. None of us know where to go in this place, and I'm certain we're going to be lost." As she talked, Randy rolls his eyes before hearing something, causing him to look around to find the source. He looks from left to right before looking at the path on the left.

'I wonder.' He thought walking to it but stops when he couldn't hear anything but silence. He raises an eyebrow, stepping backward before turning around, and walking to the path on the right. As he suspected, the sound enters his ears, it was very faint but it was there.

"I can't believe we're going to be stuck in here with nowhere to go." Randy ignores her rambling as he listens to the sound. If he didn't know any better, it kind of sound likes music. There was a brief glow in his eyes before reverting back to normal. Brie paced back and forth as she continued rambling "I don't want to be stuck in here forever. In fact, I don't want to be stuck in here for all entirely."

"Hey Brie?"

"I mean who want to be stuck inside a temple with no food or water."

"Brie?"

"I have a life outside this place."

"Brie?"

"I don't want to die from natural causes."

"BRIE!"

"WHAT?" Randy raises his hand, point to the direction and with a blank stare, answered.

"We're going to take this path." He put his hand down before walking away. Brie blinks her eyes before chasing him.

"Wait a minute. How you know this is the right way?" He glance at his friend and answered.

"Call it a hunch." She raises an eyebrow while he looks away before shrugging her shoulders.

"Okay." She said, walking down the lit hall while Randy listen to the music "I just hope you know where you taking us."

"Of course I do." He looks down and smiles "we're going to the room filled with statues."

"Again what statue? There are tons of them." Randy laughs at Brie's antics as they venture deep in the temple.

"Mr. Cunningham, I can assure you that Randy is okay. Yes he's fine. No you can't talk to him right now. Why you ask? Well that's because he's asleep. Oh trust me, he's asleep and I don't think it will be wise for me to wake him since he's very exhausted. Don't worry when he wakes up, I will tell him that you called okay? Okay, well it was nice talking to you sir. Yes and you have a good day. Okay goodbye, Mr. Cunningham." Azazel sighs as he hangs up the phone.

"You do know once he found out the truth, he's going to be one pissed off father." He looks up and stares at Jinn, who's sitting on his bed "and when that happen, well, I'll be running for the hills."

"And why would you run away from him?" Jinn roll his eyes.

"Because Randy's dad is scary when he's mad." Azazel raises an eyebrow "Howard told me." He shook his head as he walks to his bed before sitting down.

"Listen he's not going to find out."

"You sure about that?" Both boys turn to Malphas as he walked into the room "there was news about a giant snake that attack you and Randy being missing." Azazel cursed under his breath.

"Shit. Do they know it was him?"

"No they don't. They only know there's a missing kid." Jinn and Azazel sighs in relief "but honestly, I agree with Jinn. If we don't want people breathing down our necks then we better find him."

"And we better do it fast otherwise we're in big trouble." Azazel said as they nod their head.

"By the way, are you planning on giving him a 'welcome home' kiss?"

"Jinn don't start the bullshit." His brother laughs as he glares while Malphas smirks.

Meanwhile in an unknown dimension, inside a crystal castle, Aurora is lying on her bed, looking through a book with a bittersweet smile. She flips through the pages, staring at the book that contains photos of her precious memories. Memories that hold her childhood; which she will never forget. She turns the page as she looks at the photos before turning a page. She keeps the same pattern until stopping on one specific photo, the one that always make her cherish the moment she spent with him.

On the photo are two people smiling while hugging each other. In the background, a herd of zebras are eating grass, and birds flying the sky. From the looks of it and how they are dress, they're somewhere in Africa and they seem to be studying animals. Both are wearing beige cargo shorts, beige short sleeve shirt and black boots.

Her smile had widen a bit as she stare at the photo of her and the boy, who had short black hair with moderate opal streaks, bangs parted down the middle, black shades and the same symbol like hers on his forehead, but in white. On the bottom of the photo, it read 'me & my brother.'

"Brother."

"Mistress." Aurora looks up to see Meera standing by the doorway. She looked concern as she stare with a frown upon her face "are you okay?" She sighs, sitting up before answering.

"Yes I'm fine… just looking at some… old photos." She looks at the photos of her and her brother "you know, every time I look at these pictures… I couldn't help but think back to the good ol' days. I like to pretend that none of this real like its one bad dream and I can wake up at any moment." She puts her hand on the picture of her brother kissing her forehead "and he's not working for that cruel woman."

"Mistress?" Aurora smiles sadly as she close the book.

"But then reality kicks in and decided to remind me that all of this is real… that this is no dream." She looked back up to her before grinning from ear to ear "oh well, I won't let that get to me and you want to know why?" Meera shrugs her shoulder as she gets off her bed "because this gal always looked into the future not the past." Her friend smiles softly.

"That's right, Mistress. Always looked into the future and you'll find your answer." She nodded her head before picking up her book.

"Now I want you to check on the flowers and see if they're healthy."

"Okay Mistress." She bows before she leaves but stops to look over her shoulder "say Mistress."

"Hmm?" She smiles as she put the book away.

"Don't worry; we'll rescue your brother. So chin up and keep on moving okay."

"Okay." The snake/human nods before leaving the room. After she leaves, Aurora looks at a photo inside a picture frame; which shows the siblings smiling at the camera. Suddenly, a single tear appears, running down her face as she smiles at the picture.

"I miss you so much."

"This place is like a maze."

"No kidding. I understand why they build it like a maze, well; at least no one will steal their treasure." Randy nods. The duo had venture farther into the temple as the ninja leads the way. For now, they haven't triggered anymore traps so they're in the clear and it seems they're making progress. They keep heading forward, deeper into the temple before coming across a new area "well this is new." Brie said with Randy agreeing.

The room is surrounded by tall pillars which are made from stone marbles, lanterns hanging on the pillars, lit up in blue flames giving the room its blue hues, and in front of them is a very long bridge, standing above a dark abyss and on the other side is another entrance. The duo stares at the bridge, look at each other before looking back "so… ladies first."

"WHAT." The room began to rumble before quieting down. Brie closes her mouth as Randy looks around in fear.

"What just happen?"

"I think we have to be quiet otherwise this room will collapse." She said softly "so no yelling or speaking loudly. Understood?" He nodded his head "good, now let's get to that entrance without making loud noises." They walked up to the bridge, staring at it in slight fear "I'll go first just to test it out." He nodded, watching his friend step on the bridge, being careful with her step. Once she was sure that it's safe, she looks over at Randy and smiles "come on its safe to cross." She continued onward as Randy stares at her.

He looks down at the bridge, gulping before looking up and walking forward, following Brie. As he walked, Randy whispered comfort words to himself, trying to keep his nerves "okay Randy, keep calm and don't make any loud noises. You can do this just keep moving." He took deep breaths, breathing in and out.

Brie, who is ahead of him, is being caution. She knows that if either them make any sudden noises then it's game over for them. She breath in and out before looking over to see her master walking, and whispering to keep his nerves in; which she don't blame him for being nervous. Looking back, she can see that they're halfway to the entrance "perfect. Once we cross this bridge, we're home free." Right when she said those, her paws had kicked up some dust which flew in the air before entering her nose.

Meanwhile Randy, who is started to calm down, is walking a bit faster while looking at fire in awe "beautiful."

"Ah."

"What the heck?" Looking back, he sees Brie stopped walking, and making some weird sounds "Brie… are you okay?"

"Ah."

"Umm… Brie?"

"Ah." He raises an eyebrow, trying to figure out why she making that sound before realization hit him like a tons of brick.

"Oh god… please tells me she's not."

"Ah." Yep, Brie is going to sneeze.

'Not on my watch.' Randy ran to his friend, being careful with his step before covering her nose with his hand. He sighs in relief as Brie calms down "okay Brie listen to me, when I let go… please don't sneeze. Okay?" She nods her head "good kitty." He pulled back his hand slowly just in case. After pulling his hand back completely, they waited for a few seconds before sighing in relief.

"ACHOO." Brie's sneeze echoed in the room causing them freeze up in caution. Suddenly, the bridge starts to collapse behind them as they stare in fear.

"RUN." She screams before running away along with Randy.

"You don't have to tell me twice."

Randy and Brie ran for their lives. Staying ahead of the collapsing bridge and not fall into the dark abyss, all while screaming. They ran and ran and ran as they got closer to the end "we almost there, keep running."

"I'm already on it." They keep running, getting closer before suddenly, Brie slips and fall. She shook her head before getting up but went back down when she realize she injured her leg.

"Randy." Said boy stop to look at Brie on the ground, and struggling to stand up "help me." He ran back to her and began to help her but it only causes her pain "stop Randy stop. I think I twisted my ankle." Randy mentally cursed before looking to see the bridge is coming closer. He looks at the door, the bridge and then Brie before making a decision. He slips his arms under the leopard, and began to pick her up "what are you doing?"

"Helping out a friend." Once she was secured in his arms, Randy began to make a run for it, right before the falling bridge catch up to him. As he ran, Brie looks behind him and to her horror, they were losing ground.

"Randy." The bridge is getting closer "Randy put me down. I'll just slow you down." She said but he ignores her "Randy please, we're not going to make it." She looks back and gasps before yelling "Randy."

"I will not let you go. You are my friend, Brie and I'm not going to leave you. Don't you understand? You're too precious to me and I will not abandon you." Brie stares up at her master as he continued to run for his live "We are in this together." She blinks her eyes before nodding her head.

"Then keep running."

"Alright." He ran faster, getting ahead as the bridge continued to collapse. Without looking down, he asks her a question "you ready?"

"Ready for what?" He smirks behind his mask.

"This." He toss her inside the room as she scream in surprise before landing softly. After she lands, Randy ran before sliding into the room and landing next to Brie, and right before the last piece of the bridge fell into the dark abyss. Soon everything is quiet minus the sound of their breathing, trying to calm down their nerves.

Suddenly, Brie began to chuckled which soon turn into laughter. Her laughter became contagious as Randy soon began to laugh. The two friends laugh like nothing happen "man what a rush."

"I know right. I thought we were going to die."

"But we're still alive and still kicking."

"Damn straight." Brie chuckled before looking at him "thanks." Randy looks back, raising an eyebrow.

"For what?"

"For not leaving me, you dobe." Randy rubs his neck sheepishly.

"It's no biggie." He then looks her leg and frown "does it still hurts?" She looks at her back leg, raising it slightly.

"A little but I'm good." He hums before scooting close and putting his hand on her ankle. Suddenly, a bright light appears on his hand before disappearing.

"How 'bout now?" He asks, pulling back his hand as she tested out her leg.

"Much better. When did you learn to do that?"

"I don't know? Maybe Instincts."

"Yeah okay." She looked around before standing up "this room is empty."

"Yeah it is." He said, getting up and looking around "I don't see any doors."

"So where do we go?" He shrugs his shoulder, taking a step before the whole room lit up in light blue color "what did you do?" Brie asks running next to him.

"I don't know." Suddenly a weird sound was heard like something is moving before they looked down to see the platform is being covered in weird markings.

"What the juice?"

Soon the platform began to move, going up and bringing them with it and towards a tunnel. The tunnel began to glow in blue hues as they go deeper and deeper in the tunnel. Soon the tunnel disappears to reveal the most beautiful scene, leaving them speechless. All around them are specks of light, floating upward with the same markings glowing in the same color. They stare in wonder, memorize from its beauty as the platform continued upwards.

"Whoa." One of the specks floated towards Randy, close enough for him to grab it in his hand. He looks at the speck before looking closer to see that the speck is not a speck. It turns out be a bug-like creature with large wings, big green eyes and long antenna "aww cute." The bug flutter its wings before crawling up his arm, and to his shoulder where it began to nuzzle his cheek. The ninja chuckles as the bug continued nuzzling him "hahaha stop it. You tickling me, little fella."

"It likes you, Randy." Said boy looks at his friend in question.

"It does?" Brie nodded. The bug crawl back down to his hand as he looks at it "do you like me?" It made a chirping sound, confirming he does "wow you do like me? By the way, are you a boy or girl?" It tilts its head in question "you know… like what is your gender?" The bug chirps "you're a boy, huh?" Another chirp was his response.

"I take that as a yes." It flew up and did a loop-de-loop before settling on Randy's head "yep it's a boy." He purrs as Randy raise his finger and scratch his little head "but I don't think we should take him. He belong with the others."

"You're right, Brie." He gently grab him and stare into his eyes "sorry friend but I can't keep you. It was nice meeting you little guy but you had to go." His antennas droop down in sadness before flying up to him. He nuzzle his face before flying away and to his friends "bye little fella." Randy wave goodbye right before the platform disappears into the tunnel.

When it reach the top, the platform stops as the markings disappears, going to the door and being absorb causing it to open, and revealing a new area. They gasps in awe, looking around as they step into the room "oh my god."

In front of them is a huge tree standing 20ft tall, crystals hanging from the branches, sparkling under the light, delicious and ripe apples, beautiful flowers, fresh water surrounded the tree and a skylight above the tree, the sunset illuminating the tree making it more beautiful "this place is gorgeous." Brie walks around, gazing at its beauty.

"Yeah it is." He then looks up at sunset "wow is it that late?"

"Well what do you expect? We've been here for about one or two hours." The ninja blink his eyes in shock.

"I didn't know we were here for that long." He walks to the tree, looking at its delicious apples. Suddenly, his stomach began to rumble causing him to blush nervously 'didn't know I was hungry.' He looked back at the apples 'I wonder if they taste good.' He hums before climbing, reaching one of the branches and grabbing hold of the apple. He tugs on the fruit, and pulling it off the branch. Once it was secure in his hand, he drops down, cleaning the fruit on his shirt before lifting up his mask, and taking a bite from the fruit. He hums in content as another apple drops onto the floor along with Brie.

"Taste good huh?" He nods as she took a bite. As two friends eat in peace, a ball of light appears, floating towards the flower before flying to the ninja. Randy ate his apple, enjoying the tranquility as the light got closer, catching his attention.

'Huh?' The light came closer and closer before stopping in front of him, revealing itself to be the same creature he met. His eyes widen "little guy?" The creature chirps "it is you. How did you get here?" He flew over Randy and phase through the tree before flying around it "so that's how you did it?" He nods.

"I guess he wants to come with us." She said. He chuckles as the bug landed on his shoulder. He looked at him in curiosity while eating the fruit.

"What should I name you? I mean I can't called you little guy or fella for the rest of my life." He tilts his head as he hums in thought before snapping his finger "Ori." Brie raises an eyebrow.

"Ori? Why would you name him Ori?"

"Because in Hebrew language, it means 'my light', plus it fits him."

"That's a very wise choice." He giggles before looking at his new friend.

"So do you want to be called Ori?" He shook his head "Ori it is then." The now named Ori chirps in happiness making them laugh "you're welcome, Ori." He took another bite before tossing it away. When it hit the ground, the apple turns into a flower "whoa." Soon Brie's apple turns into a flower "that was kind of Bruce."

"Whatever. Now that we're full, let's get a move on."

"Right." Randy pulled down his mask, and following his friend as they walked into another hall.

Simone looks at the sunset, watching it slowly go down over the horizon. He sighs; a bittersweet smile is shown on his face as he played with his necklace, remembering fond memories. He chuckled a bit, remembering how he always brings her, climbing to the top of the tree and watching the sunset together. Oh the look on her face was simply adorable. He closes his eyes, smiling; cherishing the moment he had with her.

"Wow, look at the sunset brother."

"I see it, princess."

"It's so beautiful."

"Yeah I know."

"I love hanging out with you."

"Me too, princess."

Cyan eyes slowly open before looking up to see stars, the sky slowly turning dark as the man sighs, sitting up before looking back at the sun. After watching the sun, he turns away, stands up and put on his hood before disappearing.

"This is insane."

"Shut up and keep running." The two friends ran for their live, trying not to get killed by flaming arrows. Yes dear readers, they had triggered another trap, but it wasn't the only one. Oh no cause before all of this, our lovely travelers had went through obstacles that could get them kill; which are pits full of scorpions, collapsing ceiling with spikes, swinging axes, fire-breathing statues, and all crazy things but this one takes the cake.

They ran, screaming from the top of their lungs, praying to the gods not to be killed by these flaming arrows of death. As they ran, Randy held tight onto Ori, keeping him safe, and just when they thought it couldn't get any worse. A rumbling sound causing them to look behind themselves to see a boulder, rolling after them.

"Oh come on." Great now they have to try not to get killed by another giant boulder. That just fantastic. They continued to run with adrenaline pumping through their veins. While running for their lives, Ori began to struggle, making him lose his grip before flying away.

"Ori, where are you going?" A chirp was his response as he went ahead before stopping in front of a dead end.

"Oh crap. It's a dead end."

"We're done for." Ori closes his eyes, breath in slowly, relaxing himself before opening them again. His body glow bright as weird markings appeared before phasing through "Ori!" Suddenly, a light appears going in a straight line with the same markings, revealing it to be a door and opening itself. The closer they are, the wider it gets until finally they made it before getting crush by the boulder as the door vanish.

The two friends panted for air while Ori reappeared before them "Ori… that was… so Bruce." He looked up and smiles "thank you, friend." He purrs, nuzzling his cheek as the ninja pets him.

"Dude, guess where we are."

"Hmm?" Brie smirked.

"We're in the treasure room." Randy looks around, gasping in shock.

Piles of diamonds, sapphires, rubies, turquoises, opals, pearls, emeralds; tons of amethyst, jade and lapis lazuli, mountain of gold coins; gold-dusted swords; golden crowns embedded with gemstones; skull heads with gemstones for eyes, and gold tooth; jade dragon statues; emerald combs with onyx gemstones; silver helmets with colored horsehair crest, or black and scarlet plumes; swords with jewel on its hilt inside golden sheaths; gem-crusted goblets. The floor was covered deep in golden dust sparkling and shimmering under the luminescence light.

"Oh my god." He whispered. He began to walk among the gold as they make swooshing sound "I can't believe at what I'm seeing."

"I can't believe we found their treasure. I mean this place is loaded." Ori flew next to Brie as they stare in wonder. Randy couldn't believe that all of this belongs to the Ancients that find these jewelries and put it in this exact temple. There's so much treasure, he's surprise that no one was able to find them, seeing how much fortune it can buy them. He don't blame them for making traps to secure their price possession, he don't think anyone could get this far without getting them killed, and even if they do, well, they won't get out of here alive. But how did they keep it hidden for so long? How did they find these amazing things in the ocean? Did they use their magic to find them? Or did they know where to look for these treasures? Either way getting all of these wonderful and gorgeous treasures in this temple is one hard work.

He picks up a crown, gazing at it in amazement. He then picks up a diamond, turning it around to get a better look before suddenly; the same sound enters his ears again. He looks around the room, trying to pinpoint where it's coming from. If he didn't know any better it kind of sound like- soon a voice was heard speaking gibberish. Wait that's not gibberish… that's singing.

'Is someone singing?' He put the items down as he tune into the music. While listening, his eyes began to glow silvery-blue as his body is put on autopilot.

"Oh wow. There's different type of gemstones in here." She digs through the pile of gold with a big smile on her muzzle "ooh golden helmets. Hey Randy do you want to play knights? I'll be your trusted steed." She pawed at the skull while waiting for a response, but she only got silence "Randy? Do you hear me?" No response "Randy?" Okay something not right here. Randy doesn't stay silent in fact he doesn't stay silent for this long. Randy and quietness don't mixed well together so there's definitely wrong.

"Randy? Are you okay?" She looks around, trying to find her friend "Ori." Said bug chirps in question "do you see Randy?" He flew around, trying to find the ninja before making a trilling noise "you found him? Good job, Ori." She jumps down next to Ori, and just in time to see Randy opening the door "Randy?" Once the door was fully, the ninja blinks his eyes before running "Randy!" The two creatures ran after their master, chasing him through the temple.

While chasing him, Brie tried to figure out why he's acting weird. He doesn't response to her calls, he became quiet and he ignoring them like they doesn't exist. It's like he was put in a trance-like state 'what is going on?' As they went deeper into the temple, the music is getting louder and louder in his ears. The music is calling out to him, beckoning him to come as he ran faster towards the music. He ignores his friend calling his name because all he cares about is getting to his destination. He ran, getting closer as the music got louder before stopping in front of a giant door.

Silvery-blue eyes scan the door, trying to find a way in before spotting a handprint lock on the door. He blinks his eyes, raises his hand and puts it on the lock, and pulling it away as the door began to glow. Soon it starts to open, letting the music out and filling the halls with blue light "Randy." Said boy ignores them as he walked into the room. Brie, who saw him walked in that room, called out his name "Randy." When the door starts closing itself, she cursed under her breath and ran faster, and right when it about to close, Brie along with Ori slipped into the room before officially closing. She panted, trying to catch her breath before glaring at her friend.

"What is wrong with you, Randy? I called you a thousand times but you just ignore me. Like what gives? Mind telling me what's going on in that head of yours?" She asks but received no response "Randy."

"Brie, I found it." Randy turns around, and with his now sapphire blue eyes smiled at her "I found that place we were looking for… just look around you." Brie did what he said and gasps the sixth time this day.

"Oh my god." Let's just say the journey of the temple had finally comes to an end.
