Eli never had much to begin with, and with the fire destroying most of his house, he had even less. Aside from his bike, the old workout equipment, and the clothes on his back, Eli had nothing left to take with him. Looking around his new room, Eli realized that it was almost as big as the entire basement of his old home. The wall across from his new queen-sized bed held a massive flatscreen television and an entire bookcase filled with movies and tv shows. The window on the adjacent wall had a large set of glass doors leading out to a balcony overseeing the grounds. Eli tried to settle in, but he just couldn't get used to all the luxury that surrounded him. Eli walked over to the bookcase, trying to find something to distract himself from how weird he felt. After about 10 seconds, Eli realized that he hadn't even heard of a quarter of the selection he was presented with. Deciding to simply watch the first thing he grabbed, Eli reached into the case and pulled out a Blu-Ray case labelled "The Grey Ghost" in bright yellow letters. There was a man on the cover with a grey fedora and blue goggles. "You know, Bruce loved that show growing up." Eli turned around, seeing Dick standing in the doorway. "He would watch it with his father every night before bed." He continued as he walked over to the boy. "I've never heard of it before." Eli never thought that someone like Bruce Wayne would ever be such a relatable person, growing up with all that cash. "That isn't surprising, it's almost older than he is." Eli let out a small chuckle, being slightly more at ease. "You think it's any good?" He asked. "Bruce let me watch it when I was younger, I think you'd like it." Dick smiled, placing a hand on Eli's shoulder. "Come on, dinner is almost ready. We can watch a few episodes tomorrow." Eli had never even SEEN a steak before, so seeing one of the most expensive cuts of beef on the market sitting in front of him was jarring, to say the least. He had decided to bring Lukas his dinner, and eat with him as he was bed-ridden. "I'm sorry this happened." Lukas murmured, barely able to speak. "Everyone keeps telling me that, but nobody wants to do anything about it," Eli replied. "The cops won't do anything, and Batman will just lock him up so he can break out again." "You're angry, I get it. But you need to realize that what happened to Joel wasn't because of you, it was because of Firefly." Eli finished his dinner and got up, heading for the door. "Micha blames himself. He says if he never worked at Arkham, Firefly wouldn't have attacked the house. I think you should talk to him about it." Eli closed the door behind him and returned to his room. He didn't even bother trying to sleep. He knew he wouldn't be able to. Instead, he went through his clothing, finding an old hoodie and a grey scarf. Putting them on, he grabbed a few things that he thought he might need and went over to the balcony. Looking down, he realized that if he was careful, he could climb down the side of the house using the window ledges below him. He got about two floors down before he lost his footing and fell the final 4 feet, landing square on his back. Slowly getting up, trying not to focus on the pain. Once he was sure nobody had noticed him, he ran for the main gate and managed to get it open./p
