Tonks entered the kitchen of Number 12 Grimmauld Place. It had been a long hard shift and she was feeling tired, and cranky. As she plopped herself down on a kitchen chair she stared across the table and noticed another occupant.

Remus Lupin glanced up and noticed Nymphadora Tonks sitting across the table. "Hello there Nymphadora" said Lupin drawing out her name as long as possible knowing that it would annoy her. "My name is Tonks," snapped Tonks. "Oh dear, sounds as if someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning" chuckled Remus. "I'm sorry Remus, I didn't mean to yell but I am having a horrible day so far."

She got up and began to make herself some hot chocolate. When she was done she carried it back to the table in anticipation. Holding the cup between her hands she began to sniff the steaming drink savoring in its smell. She was quite proud of herself as she had managed to make, pour, and carry the mug of precious liquid all the way back to her seat without making a mess. However when she sat down her chair tipped backwards and her mug went crashing into the ground.

"Tonks are you alright!" shouted Lupin as he rushed over to help her up. "I knew it was too good to be true, I can't do anything without making a mess somehow." After she had gotten her chair upright and was safely seated with the mess clean she sighed and started banging her head on the table. Remus looked at her in amusement and chuckled slightly to himself. He then pulled out a bar of chocolate and began to eat.

Tonks heard the wrapper of a chocolate bar and looked up. There, across the table was Remus who had a large bar of the heavenly substance that she was craving.

"Remus give me that chocolate bar right now," demanded Tonks in a desperate voice. He looked up quite shocked. "Tonks this is my chocolate bar, if you want chocolate go get some of your own." Tonks got out of her seat and circled to the other side of the table to stand by Remus. "Please Remus" she begged. He looked at her in what he hoped was a stern glare. "No." All of a sudden she lunged for the chocolate bar in his hand causing him to jump out of his seat.

Slowly she inched closer to him. Remus kept trying to walk backwards until he was pressed up to the wall. All of a sudden she closed the distance between the two and her lips were on his. Slowly she kissed him, bringing her hands up to his waist. Remus was shocked at first but then returned the kiss with an equal passion. Tonks grabbed the chocolate bar out of his limp hand and began to run towards the stairs. Remus, still shocked stood there for a moment still trying to process what had just happened and then began to chase her.

Tonks ran up the stairs to her room and locked the door. She began to devour the chocolate bar with great satisfaction. Remus made it to her door and found it to be locked. "Alohamora" he said as he tapped the door with his wand and let himself in. Tonks shrieked when she saw him enter and stuffed the last bit of chocolate into her mouth.

She looked up at him, expecting him to back off not that the chocolate was gone but was shocked. He was closing in on her, backing her up against the bedroom wall. "Give me my chocolate back," he said quietly. "I can't, I ate it all" she said with a smug satisfaction. He looked at her for a moment and said "then I guess I'll have to get it myself." And with that he kissed her. The kiss was long and deep and filled with passion. When they finally pulled apart Tonks looked up at him with a smile.

"I love chocolate."
