This will be a compilation of Merlin one-shots, or maybe two-shots with Whump Merlin. If anyone reads and have suggestions for future stories please review. I'll gladly write them!

" Merlin!I've been waiting for my breakfast for 30 minutes. Not only that but I had to wake myself! Late I may add."

"Sorry sir," Merlin chuckled to himself while running into the chambers. It honestly wasn't his fault this time. Gaius woke up late too, and he depended on the man to wake him up. He sat down the plate of food worthy for a king and with a cocky stance, scooted the chair out for Arthur.

" Sorry doesn't fix it Merlin," Arthur grumbled and sat down in his chair to eat. Rather fast too.

Merlin got busy cleaning the mess his master had made in the few hours they had been apart. So in other words, the chambers were nearly trashed and he rushed to pick it all up.

" Is it really that hard to not leave a mess everywhere you go? I mean, would it really hurt you to pick up something once in a while?" Merlin complained, knowing he wouldn't be satisfied with Arthur's answers. It just felt good to banter.

" No Merlin, because that is not my job, it's yours. Speaking of that, you need to get this-" he said point widely to the array of clutter in his room," cleaned quickly, we have training to attend to,"

A knowing king was met with an all too famous scowl.

" Tut tut Merlin, it'd do you some good, look how scrawny you are!" Arthur said spitting food across the table.

" Yeah, well at least I'm not fat," Merlin said without a hint of guild. He glanced at the doors to make sure they weren't open. Any company that heard the way he spoke to the kind of Camelot would certainly throw a fit. It had happened before but Arthur easily took over the situation. A few hours in the stocks was his punishment.

Arthur didn't mind it though, in fact he liked it. Without Merlins attitude and wit his life would be even more stressful and boring.

" I am not fat! My bulk is muscle Merlin. Ever heard of such a thing?"

" No, because seeing is believing. And I don't see,"

The banter was over with a win given to Merlin, again.

" You're a clot-pole, go and get my armor," Arthur said while finishing his big breakfast. He wasn't angry, just playfully annoyed.

It didn't take very long with Merlin's experience to fully dress and put all the armor on the king. He was rather swift at it now. His slender fingers easily place it piece by piece in the correct order.

" Go ahead and set up with the other knights," Arthur said, discreetly nudging Merlin into the corridors. It was a bit odd, but then again when was Arthur not odd?

The man was a king that didn't mind a servant telling him off. Maybe odd wasn't the right word. Delusional is better.

" Stop lingering Merlin, I simply need to talk to Prince Jonathan and his wife. They were traveling and stayed here last night," the King rolled his eyes at his servant and started off in the opposite direction.

Scoffing, Merlin started to the training field slowly, not feeling like being thrown around today. The knights were very rough, he wasn't build for that kind of stuff.

" Hey mate!"

" Hello Gwaine!" Merlin greeting as he reached his close friend. The Warlock's sprits were instantly lifted knowing he could hang out with people he liked while going through hell. Plus Gwaine felt bad for the chap and often went easy on him despite Arthur's disapproval.

" Ready for some physical fun?" Sarcasm. That helps.

" You bet," Merlin said still not looking forward to the hits, rams, and pushes. The bruises on his arms were just about gone and how he had to replace them with new ones.

Arthur arrived in no time and started to direct his knights with all of his intimidating authority. He assigned some to sword matches, some physics training, and the rest to untypical weapons like bows.

" Why am I running around the court yard?! How is this supposed to help me fight?" Gwaine complained to the king like a child.

" Because, you need to stay fit. Your performance dwindles when you're out of shape,"

Arthur sounded so smart like he seasurched physical education. He should have known Gwaine would just respond with just as powerful idiotic facts.

" When in that case join me princess!"

With a growl Arthur farther ignored the man and looked up at Merlin.

" Take this shield and run,"

'This should be fun,' Merlin thought to himself picking up the heavy wooden shield and started to jog away.

It wasn't what he wanted but Arthur didn't complain. He started to throw personalized knives at the wood. Each time they hit, Merlin flinched from the shock. Not knowing when they would hit was the worst part. He was so focus on not jerking that he didn't missed the small hole in the grass and stumbled.

" For goodness sakes Merlin!"

" Sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going!" Merlin called back, he was okay. He stumbles all the time.

" What else is new?"

This got a few laughs for the surrounding knights. They too liked to pick on the servant, finding his humor and personality likable. They continued like this for a while before the king got bored and could see Gwaine heavily out of breath.

" Everyone, come over here for a group exercise, Merlin you stay right there," Arthur called. Knights from all around the yard were flocking over to their king. Some of them followed orders religiously, which was sort of annoying.

" We will each take turns throwing knives at the wooden shield. Knowing your way around a knife is really helpful when there isn't a sword lying around!" Arthur pauses," Gwaine, you first"

" Are you sure about this princess, some of these men aren't a good shot."

" Merlin will be fine, look at him, the shield covers most of his body," Arthur gave the other man a look saying the conversation was over.

Gwaine nodded to Merlin and threw his first knife. It hit near the center with a loud thud. He could do this no problem, it was just the others he wasn't too sure about. Some of them would lose in a sword fight against Merlin, they were so uncoordinated. Arthur's trust in their abilities was concerning and startling. He worried about the servant at these times, for good reason. His turn ended and the next knight was up.

Merlin was becoming sluggish from all the running and weight. His arms and legs both ached from strain even though he did this often. You'd think he'd be buff by now. He just couldn't wait until it was over and he could relax. He couldn't really see them, but he could hear the knights laughing and cheering on each other. There were some newbies who only got their armor and sword because of their wealthy parents. They didn't deserve to be knights of Camelot.

It was going okay until there was a sharp pain in his left thigh and a loud curse from the line of men. In shock, Merlin dropped the shield and fell backwards with a thump.

" Oh no, I'm so sorry. It was a mistake! I didn't mean it!" One of the young armored men said looking pale and nervous.

" Silence! I could put you in the stocks for this!" Arthur yelled at the poor kid. He hated when people treated his servant poorly and would go to any lengths to make sure he was safe and alive. If that meant punishing one of his own he was willing to do so.

" He didn't mean it Arthur, I-I'm okay," The young servant sat up, placing his hands around the knife still imbedded in his leg. It burned with a fiery of 1,000 dragons, but he wanted to let the poor kid know he didn't hold it against him.

" Don't listen to him, he seems scary on the outside, but he's a real softy. A prat sometimes too," Merlin reassured. He got a weary smile but no more.

" We need to get you to Gaius, let him check this out," Gwaine said helping Merlin to sit up.

The sudden movement made him sway as dizziness took over his head.

" Woah, let's get you out of here,"

The path to his and Gaius's chambers weren't far, but it defiantly felt like it when there was a knife in your leg, cutting more as you move. Dark red crimson was rolling down his pants, staining them for certain.

" Gaius, we got bit of an issue!" Gwaine called out to the old man.

" What on Earth happened this time?" The grey hair of the man was sweaty in the heat of the chambers. He had been brewing more sleeping drafts and pain medications. The steam increased the summer heat.

" Never mind that, bring him in,"

They sat Merlin down and Gaius got down low to take a look at his ward.

" Training I'm going to assume. Hmm, the knife is stopping the bleeding but it needs to come out. Take this draft, it should help with the pain,"

" Thanks Gaius," Merlin sighed. He wasn't looking forward to the next part, or the part after that. First they needed to pull the knife out, asses the damage, stitch up the wound, then wrap it up in bandages. It was going to be painful and very uncomfortable.

" Hold him still while I pull, I can't have him moving and creating more damage,"

Sweat was pouring down the warlocks face. Since when did it get so hot?

Gwaine stepped in and kept his leg still.

" On three, one tw-" and Gaius pulled out the knife swiftly.

Merlin let out a pain filled yell. The pain was overwhelming and black spots started to fill his vision.

Stay awake, stay awake, stay awake, Merlin chanted to himself in efforts to keep his eyes open. They were being increasingly heavy and wet.

" Sorry boy, it's better to not know when it's coming,"

" It's'k" With a deep breath Merlin tried to relax into the bench and let Gaius work. He focused on taking deep breaths and staying calm.

It wasn't too bad, but the bleeding was concerning. The heat was becoming a lot again and Merlin swayed in place.

" Oh no you don't, lay down buddy," Gwaine helped him to lay down and prop his leg up.

" Sir Gwaine, grab that little metal pole and put it in the fire, I need it hot," Gaius said while rummaging around the room to find proper supplies. The knife must have hit something important because blood was pouring out of his wards wound, quickly.

With a groan, Merlin lolled his head to look at Gwaine. He knew what the metal was for. Gaius was going to cauterize the bleed. He had seen it done on other people, and based on their screams, it hurt. A lot. Most of them would pass out.

Bandages were placed on his leg to prevent too much bleeding in the mean time. His head felt hot, well, everything felt hot. His entire body throbbed, but the worst was the feeling of a hot poker stabbing him in the leg. It was agonizing. The pressure added to it wasn't helping either.

The door opened with a creak to reveal Arthur, still fully dressed in his armor.

" I thought you said it wasn't bad," Arthur mocked half angrily. He wasn't mad at Merlin and he wasn't too mad at the chap that hurt him. He was mad because he was stupid enough to put his own personal servant in a position where he could get hurt. And, from the looks of all the blood on the floor, bleed out. There was so much blood. Merlin's face was pale and sweaty. He was groaning and mumbling something to himself.

" Oh, My lord. Would you do me a favor and hold Merlin down, I have to stop the bleeding, Gwaine, bring over the rod,"

Wide eyed, Arthur looked at the red hot metal and knew where this was going. It wasn't a large rod, actually, it was more like a stick but it still looked like it's hurt like hell.

Gaius took the hot metal and looked at the wound.

" I'm sorry Merlin, but this is necessary,"

He understood. But why would it have to hurt so bad? He was in so much pain already he hadn't acknowledged Arthur's presence.

Fire! His leg felt like it was on fire. It burned, literally. It was so hot, it felt cold. He couldn't tell if it felt more like frost bite or a burn. With a scream and black swarming, vision he passed out.

Gaius went to work quickly. He didn't want Merlin to wake up and deal with more pain. He stitched up the wound in record time and had it bandaged soon there after.

He had the strong men carry Merlin to his bedroom and lay him on the bed.

I will do another chapter for those who read!! Please review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
