OST: Zombie Army Trilogy OST – Berlin Under Siege
After hours of storytelling from Titans to World War 2 to everyone's lives before the conflicts, the group finally arrived in Berlin, once filled with joy and hope, now sitting at the epicenter of Hell. Here's to hoping that they find the answers for these diabolical questions. As they cross the ruined streets and ablaze buildings of the city, their only form of transportation has been halted by a burning wreck stranded in the middle of the road
Hermann: Gentlemen, I regret to inform you that we must continue on foot
Efram: Great
Karl woke up the cadets who were asleep
Karl: Everyone up
Eren: Huh?
Karl: We're walking
Jean: Uhh, where the hell are we?
Boris: Hell
Jean: What?
Boris: I'm only joking, but seriously, we're still in hell
Efram: Stop scaring them Boris, for God's sake
Karl jumped out of the truck, and while holding his 1911, checks everything around him for any zombies nearby. After a minute of checking, he tells his compatriots that they're in the safe zone
Karl: Alright, looks clear, let's go
Everyone jumped out of the truck while Karl leads the way. They enter one of the buildings at the side of the road
Marco: So, what are we supposed to do?
Efram: Well, you see-
A radio in front of them suddenly buzzed up and a message comes out
Unknown: If you can hear this, please help us get the message out. Do not attempt to come to Berlin. Hitler has raised an army of the dead. They can't be stopped! They are apparently gathering at the Memorial Cathedral
Karl: Hello? Can you hear us? Hey!
Unknown: I don't know what this means… but it can't be good. We don't know how long we can hold out before we fall. All hope is lost. Lord, please save our Sou- *radio static*
Karl: Hey, are you there? Come in! Is anyone out there? Goddamn it
Eren: What was that?
Boris: Poor bastard who probably got his legs eaten
Eren: No, I mean that "box" thing?
Boris: It's called radio, are you really that old, tovarisch?
Hermann: What did he said? The man on the radio
Efram: He said that don't come to Berlin and that Hitler raised the dead or something along those words
Mina: Isn't that the person you said that started the Second World War?
Boris: Da, that's him. And if we're that unlucky, he could be still alive
Hermann: Surely, they'd be eating him as well, right? What other things that the radio said?
Efram: Well, he mentioned something about happening in the Memorial Cathedral, which is just a few blocks away from here
Karl: Then that's where we're going next
Jean: What? Didn't it also said that those things are all gathered there?
Karl: Yep, and surely everything regarding all of this is lying around there
Jean: Oh great, just great
Eren: Hey, that could also mean that'll be our way out of here, right?
Jean: *sigh* As you wish
Karl: Let's navigate through these buildings until we get to the other side of the streets, and stick together
The group advances through the tight corridors while the cadets hold on to the guns they brought from the town earlier. As the more experienced group deals with the small number of zombies lurking around the hallways, the cadets have a bit of a short talk
Mina: I'm worried that the others back home are probably still looking for us
Jean: They should be thankful they're not the ones in this shithole right now
Marco: I guess you're right
Mina: Still, what if we come back, people started questioning us? Worse, that we might be charged with desertion?
Jean: I don't care, what matters is that after the mess both down here and back there, me and Marco our gonna lavish our way into the Military Police, ain't that right?
Marco: I suppose
Eren: Still daydreaming about the Military Police, huh?
Jean: Good luck with your "kill all the Titans" bullshit, I'm not the ones getting his ass eaten anyway
Mina: Both of you, now's not the time?
The group find themselves in a room where they have full view of the streets from above. They see more zombies lurking around the streets
Efram: Looks like they're heading for the cathedral
A moment later, they hear a faint sound of roaring engines and gunshots from a distance
Hermann: Anyone heard that?
Efram: Gunshots? I guess we're not alone
They heard more gunshots, this time, it was much closer
Efram: Do you think survivors?
Karl: I'm not sure, stay alive
After a minute, everything went silent. But suddenly, a convoy of German trucks and half-tracks roam the streets and started shooting at any zombies that was standing on their way. The group had to duck and cover to avoid its attention when the convoy suddenly stopped, its occupants exiting their vehicles and appears to be the last remaining Wehrmacht troops still alive in this apocalypse
Efram: The Wehrmacht? How the hell did they survive? Especially in Berlin
Boris: No idea, but that don't mean we're on same side
Hermann: If they belong to Wildner's unit, I wouldn't be surprised, that scumbag
Eren: So, they're not friendly?
Karl: Let's try to slip away from them, no time to-
Marco suddenly jumped out of cover and started waving at the German troops
Marco: Hey! Over here! We need help!
Jean: What the fuck, Marco?
Eren: Marco, get down!
The Germans down below weren't convinced by Marco's cries for help
German Soldier: *in German* Should we?
German Soldier #2: *in German* He's only fresh meat to the zombie pigs, might as well butcher the poor bastard
German Soldier: *in German* Amen to that
Meanwhile, Eren and Karl are trying to put down Marco
Eren: Marco, calm down, they're not-
Karl: Kid, you're gonna get us all killed
Marco: I'm trying to find us a way-
The shredding noise of a half-track's MG42 startled the group, causing Marco, Eren, and Karl to tumble down. Soon, all of the German troops opened fire on the group, showering them with bullets
Jean: I thought you were supposed to be our leader in this story, Marco
Hermann: Keep your heads down!
The group desperately crawls to the other side to avoid the massive gunfire being sprayed upon them. When the Germans couldn't see the group anymore, they decided to stand down
German Soldier: *in German* You think they're gone?
German Soldier #2: *in German* For sure, now let's get the hell out of here before those dead fucks arrive again
German Soldier: *in German* Shouldn't we like, check to see if they're actually dead?
A loud gory scream uttered in the distance
German Soldier: *in German* You know what? Maybe the dead will finish them off
German Soldier #2: *in German* Come on, let's get a move on. We got only four days to get to the U-Bahn
The convoy left the scene, heading somewhere else as the fog thickens up even more. Meanwhile, the groups found an exit from the tight buildings and got out, putting themselves in a narrow alleyway. However, Boris was not pleased on what happened a minute ago and proceeds to pin Marco in the wall, with his Tokarev TT-33 pistol pointed at his stomach area
Boris: Do you want to fucking die or what?
Efram: Boris, what the hell are you doing?
Boris: Stay back Fritz, unless you want to be buried alive as well, the same goes for you damn children
Efram: We don't have time for arguments, let him go now!
Jean: Hey! Let him go!
Boris: *scoffs* I'm amazed that your "friend" somehow survived the bullet showers back there
Jean had enough and used his MP40 and bashed it on Boris' back but the Russian didn't even flinch a millimeter, instead he raises his right leg and kicks the cadet in the gut, causing him to fall on his back, like how a horse would kick a person from behind
Eren: Hey! What is it with you and us?
Boris: The fact that we have to carry your useless ass throughout the German countryside
Mina: Please, we can't have a fight right now, we have bigger problems
Boris: And your dumb friend over here is one of them
While the others have completely ignored everything and engaged in a war of words, Karl and Hermann had to embarrassingly witness everything
Hermann: Should we… stop them?
Karl: They'll sort it out themselves, I know Boris can
Hermann: Well, guess we know who's going to die first
Not long before a loud shriek echoed through the alleyway, which stopped the fistfight between the two groups. Soon, a pack of Suicide Zombies started charging towards them
Hermann: I believe those are the exploding bastards!
Karl: Clear them out
Karl and his rifle do some work and nailed one of the Suicide Zombies, who exploded and so are his undead comrades. Hermann managed to kill the last two and they too exploded, but now the normal zombies come crawling towards them
Karl: Y'all gotta help me in this kind of situation too, you know?
For now, Boris, Efram and the 104th Cadets set their differences aside and help out Karl, though the Russian is still unsatisfied with the young cadets
Karl: Get moving, we need to get to that cathedral
OST: Zombie Army Trilogy OST – Walking In Patterns
The group sprint their way out of the alleyway, with some zombies suddenly popping out of the holes at the side of the building, but the group manages to kill some of the zombies without hesitation. Karl headshots three undead Krauts with his pistol, Jean curb stomped a zombie who tried to chew on his ankle, Boris emptied his magazine on six more zombies at front. More zombies come crashing down from behind
Jean: Shit, more at the back!
Jean tries to shoot at the zombies but his MP40 jammed, the zombie was about to finish off Jean but Marco was able save his friend and kill the rest of the zombies, giving Jean enough time to unjam his submachine gun
Jean: Thanks
Marco: No need
Karl: Everyone, hustle up
The rest of the group follow Karl and got out of the claustrophobic alley. After that gritty encounter, they find themselves in an open area littered with flames, rubble, and more corpses
Karl: Everyone still breathing?
Boris: Yes
Efram: Ja
Hermann: Still got it
Karl: Eren, you and your friends?
Eren: Yeah, we'll live
Karl: Alright, let's get going
Before they could move out, Efram notices something peculiar with some of the corpses
Efram: Wait
Karl: What is it doc?
Efram: These bodies, they don't look "deranged" like the others
Boris looks at Eren
Boris: Don't mind Fritz there, he's always that mentally damaged
Eren: Really?
Efram and Karl were trying to examine the bodies of the soldiers
Efram: Gunshot wounds, all over the torso
Karl: So, what you're saying is that they didn't get killed by the zombies?
Efram: Absolute, and the bodies are warm so they could've killed… let's say an hour ago
Karl: Could be other survivors?
Efram: Maybe, at this point, it's every man for himself here in Berlin
Boris: Can we get going Fritz?
Hermann: I have to agree with the angry Ivan here, we're in a poor position here
Efram leaves the bodies but not long before he walks over to Boris and rubs his bloody fingers on the Russian's coat
Efram: Who knows, maybe even the undead knows how to shoot a rifle now
Boris: Hey! Who fucking told you to do that to me huh?
The cadets were giggling a bit until Boris turned around with a menacing look, then they stopped giggling
Karl: C'mon, time to move
The group suddenly halted when a loud banging was heard at the doors of the building in front of them
Hermann: That's from those doors, that building in front
Boris: *scoffs* Could be more of the zombie cyka, come on, I'll deal with them myself if you want
Karl: Don't get cocky Boris, you know that?
Boris: Da, I know what I'm doing
As Boris gets closer to the doors, the noises were getting louder. The Russian readies his PPSH, and now growling were the next noises being emitted behind those doors. Out of patience, Boris fires at the doors, hipfiring his SMG until it went click, soon everything went silent as the doors were covered in bullet holes and the Russian came back to the group, filled with pride
Boris: See? Told you I can-
OST: Zombie Army Trilogy OST – Amongst The Dead
The doors exploded and out emerges a huge zombie, but unlike the others, he was donning a black SS trench coat, two ammo bandoliers, and armed with an MG42. Through his reddish eyes and shouts of anger, he fired his machine gun on the survivors and they quickly find cover amidst the chaos
Hermann: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!
Efram: Just shoot the damn thing
The group tried to fire back at the MG wielding zombie but it just simply shrugged off those shots, as if they were like mosquito bites to him
Mina: It's no use, it's still shooting
Karl: Try to aim for the head
Karl takes a quick aim with his rifle and nails a headshot on the zombie, though it may not be enough to kill it, it definitely rocked the zombie
Karl: Shoot him by the head
Boris: Come on fucker, your machine gun don't mean shit to me
They all opened fire on the zombie again, but they were aiming for the head this time, and Karl manages to land a shot that had enough kick to shatter the zombie's Stahlhelm helmet
Hermann: Helmet's off, shoot the bastard now!
Jean: That's it!
Jean popped out of cover and attempts to finish off the dazed zombie, but it regained enough strength and went back into battle
Marco: Jean, look out!
The zombie fired his MG at the group and one of the rounds landed right on Jean's right leg, the cadet fell into the ground in deep pain
Marco: Jean!
Jean: God fucking damn it
Karl took advantage and quickly aimed at the zombie's head, and in a heartbeat, takes the shot and nails the zombie in the head, completely exploding it and turning to bits of mush and its body falling on the ground like a tree being chopped down
Boris: Is the thing dead?!
Karl: Yeah, killed it
Efram: Scheisse, one of the kids are shot
Jean: I'll be fine, just-
Jean tried to stand up but the pain was too much to bear
Efram: No use, you're just making it worse
Karl: Alright, just carry him and we'll provide cover
Efram: Okay, and you? Up you go
Efram and Marco carried a wounded Jean by his arms while the rest of the group gets going with Karl leading the way. As they enter the building where the MG zombie came from, a zombie straggler tried to bite them but was immediately disposed of by the American sniper
Jean: *groans* This sucks
Eren: You'll be fine
Mina: We just need something to stop the bleeding
Efram: Question is, can you still walk after this?
Jean: I hope so
Marco: God, how is that "thing" even possible?
Efram: No idea, but all we know is that these unholy things apparently know how to shoot guns now
Karl: Found a safe room here
Hermann: And a chair for our wounded friend
As the cadets enter the safe room, Karl looks around and shuts the door in front of him. The group is still halfway to the cathedral but at least they were able to survive the first hour of Berlin, any ordinary human being would've been dead at this point but instincts, teamwork, and a pinch of luck gave the survivors the chance to live again. Now they'll have to suffer in the next hour
