Hey everyone! I promise to stop bombarding you guys with old fanfics from my tumblr after tonight. I am busy writing holiday fanfics after all. I hope all of you are excited for peppermint flavored Lukanette, I know I am!

I was originally only going to post this on my ao3 because I didn't think a minific would look nice on . But I think I may be wrong and my reader base on deserves to see this fanfic as well.

Nothing special, just Marinette and Luka forced to do a play together. Eeee! So without further ado.

At least while playing the sleeping beauty, Marinette could pretend to sleep and not think about how awkward it would be that her best friend was playing the role of prince charming.

Luka was thrust into the role as Adrien had to back out at the last minute. He dreamt about kissing Marinette time and time again even if she liked Adrien, but this felt so wrong! This felt like the worst possible time for dreams to come true right now!

However, the show must go on, and everyone is watching!

And Marinette looked lovely in a princess dress, and even if she was pretending to sleep, she still looked like an angel.

Luka walked closer and remembered the lines as he gently placed his hand on Marinette's cheek.

Marinette relaxed her face against Luka's gentle touch. Her eyes were still closed tight, but her lips moved slightly.

"Oh, sleeping beauty. Please wake up. For I am in love with you," Luka said.

He knelt down and hesitated to kiss Marinette in this state. But he swallowed and gently placed his lips on hers.

He knew this kiss should've lasted for five measly seconds, but to Luka's surprise, Marinette placed her hands around his neck to deepen the kiss.

As indecent as it was, they kept on kissing and enjoyed the feel of each other's soft lips pressed against each other.

They both knew this kiss was going longer than it was supposed to be, but it felt so nice that they almost wanted to forget they were on stage doing a play in front of hundreds of people.

Eventually, the confused cries from the crowd caused the kiss to break, and Luka shot up, trying to get into character again. There were a few laughs and a little bit of applause from the audience.

Luka was about to get this play over with as they were almost to the end. Still, he couldn't help but feel captivated as Marinette's blue eyes sparkled as she smiled up to him, just like the sleeping beauty from the story.

Luka blinked a few times and held out his hand to lift his princess out of bed, but Marinette looked far too starstruck to continue with the play.

"Oh my gosh," Marinette cried. "I think I am in love."

Luka was bewildered.

"What?" He cried, almost breaking character completely.

At the end of the play and the end of the day, Marinette couldn't help but believe something had changed.

And that Luka's kiss broke a nasty curse that was on her for a long time.
