Chapter one – The Perverted Visitor

Kotaru woke up to the sound of a buzzing alarm. She looked to over to her side and saw Pheonix lying in the other bed.

"Sleepy heads wake up!" that all familiar voice of her little brother, Kohaku chimed threw the air.

"Ugh! What time is it?" she questioned drowsily.

"It's 10:00 a.m."

"What? What's going on?" Pheonix yawned out.

"Come on! Get dressed!" she screamed out at her room mate running into the bathroom. The steaming water rained down on the cool floor. She slipped out of her clothes and stepped into the fog of steam. Dipping her flowing brunette hair under the shower head she lost all sense of hearing. Her eyes flew open when suddenly the doors to the shower flung open and a hand grabbed her. Sending her hand across her capturers face she reclaimed her freedom.

"Miroku! You pervert!"

"Ah! It was worth it."

"What are you doing here!"

"Can't I come over and visit you lovely ladies?"
"NO!"
"Well, Maybe I won't introduce you to my new friends."
"Who-" before she could finish her question a couple came into the bathroom to see what the racket is about.

"Hello, my name is Foxx" said the boy smiling brightly at her.

"Hey, my name is Rose" the girl said smiling a little less brightly as the boy had.

"Uh? Hey, I'm Kotaru Watanabe"

"Yes, we know!" the two echoed at the same time. Her cheeks turned a soft pink at the thought of everyone knowing Pheonix and her names. Ever since Pheonix and Kotaru had met they were the dynamic duo, Shikon no Ko. Since then they had sold over millions of copies of their hit single, Depressing Dreams.

"Oh! Miroku! You made me forget! I'm late!"

"You're late? You're late? For a very important date?" Miroku joked at the fact of her being late.

"Ha-Ha, Very funny! Now get out!" the second she barked the word out the trio ran out faster than you can say Happy Halloween! She decided to skip the shower she was already late to begin with. Drying out her hear she combed a few strands of hair that didn't want to cooperate. Slipping on her black T-shirt and jeans she rushed down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Not ready yet?"

"Sorry, I ran into a rat in the bathroom!"

"Miroku?"

"Bingo!" she snatched up a piece of toast and shoved it down her throat. Dragging Pheonix behind her she jumped into her black 2006 convertible. She pressed down on the gas pedal speeding out the drive way.

Rose laughed at Miroku when she heard about his perverted past.

"Miroku I swear that evil monkey stuck up your butt controls you in perverted ways!"

"I have no monkey up my butt!"

"Yes you do! See the hole!" Rose said laughing at her own joke. She was often called the comedian of the group. Her best skill was turning a serious conversation into a hilarious joke. Even though she was a joker she often had moments when she was full fledge serious. At that exact moment something sprang into her that caused her to stop half way in a joke and glare at everyone in the room. When they noticed the expression on her face their faces darkened with worry. Foxx searched threw his pocket and pulled out a tiny blue pill and gave it to Rose. The second the pill slid slickly down her throat to the pit of her stomach her expression grew softer and she began to smile at them again. She knew exactly what was going on. Her past had come back to haunt her and from this day forward it wasn't all fun and games anymore.
