The hospital sucked. That's what Miko decided. She flicked through her texts once she got to her bedroom, her arms hurt like a bitch. Even with the pain killers. She flicked through her messages, get well soon messages. Jack picked up her school work for her. Like he hadn't been a pain in the ass enough. She frowned, the first text she got was from an unknown number.

How is your arm?

Miko looked at the number, just to realize there was no number. She held her breath as she remembered. Taking a deep breath.

Just some scars, texting hurts and all that.

Miko tapped her foot against the floor and sighed.

How are you?

She placed the phone down, she closed her eyes and tried not to cry. How nice, the first person to check up on her arm was Megatron. A buzz came from her phone, Megatron was typing. She resisted the urge to throw her phone out of the window. Then the typing stopped and her phone was ringing. Miko almost screamed, she looked at the door and then the window.

She answered the phone, "Well, if texting hurts I figure this may work better."

.

Six days, six days had passed. Miko had become recluse, she did not even talk to Bulkhead much. Rafael and Bumblebee had to piece together what had happened on their own. Arcee had vented and ranted to Jack, the two wheeler did not understand what she had done. Rafael and Bumblebee watched as she paced and shouted.

Rafael popped another mint into his mouth as Bumblebee sat beside him, the model car was parked beside them and the controller in between them.

"I still don't get it! Why is Arcee mad at Miko?" Bumblebee looked at Rafael who strained his ears to listen. Which wasn't much of a strain, Arcee was very loud.

"She's upset Miko is mad at whatever they had said about Miko… She… She thinks Miko is being overdramatic." He pieced together. He wrote the notes down in his book, it had become like a puzzle game for the two. Rafael read the notes once again.

"So… The Autobots said something about Miko and she heard it, it caused the fight and for Miko to leave… She got captured by Megatron and now she isn't talking to anyone." He nodded as he adjusted his glasses.

"Bar you and me."

"Bar you and me." He added. Bumblebee nodded. Arcee kicked a rock, barely missing Jack. Who was becoming more and more frustrated, the tense nature of the base had been putting a strain on his work and schooling, and he hated it. Rafael watched with a frown as Arcee finally calmed and talked to Jack. It was quiet and they could not hear it from that distance. Bumblebee looked at Rafael who held himself. The boy yelped as he felt the titans hand wrapped around him. He was pulled close and held tighter, Rafael wiped his own tears away and frowned.

"... I think we need to go ask Miko." He swallowed. The others had given them empty answers, half truths. Bumblebee nodded, he allowed Raf to collect his things and importantly he collected himself and his emotions. Bee transformed and they drove off, the engine purred as Rafael looked over his notes again and again. What didn't make sense to him was why was Megatron so important in all of this? The name had come up a few times. Rafael took out his phone.

Ring, ring ring… He took a few deep breaths, ring ring ring… Click.

"Oh, hey dude!" Miko yawned, she sounded tired as he could hear fabric rustling, "Whatcha need?" He took a deep breath as he watched the driverless driver's seat, the wheel turning and the brakes going up and down.

"Miko, where are you?" His voice was shaking. Miko stayed silent for a moment before answering, "My bedroom, I just got up." She admitted he could hear the guilt in her voice even over the phone. Rafael mouthed, 'Miko's house' and Bumblebee changed directions. Raf took a deep breath and composed himself.

"Is it okay if me and Bee come over?" He tapped his foot against the foot of the seat. Miko groaned and more cloth rustled.

"Yeah… My host parents aren't in town." She admitted. He nodded to Bee and the mech sped up.

"Kay. See ya in a sec!" Rafael hung up, letting Miko get ready. She hadn't been in school recently because of her arms. The lie that was told was that she had gone skating, did a trick and then fell in broken bottle shards. Her host parents brought it anyway and so did the school, so it worked.

Miko was standing in the doorway. She had sweat pants and a hoodie on. Slash monkeys were written on the front of it, as Miko turned to grab something he could see tour dates and locations on the back. She turned back and took a swig from her Monster energy can. Bumblebee pulled into the open garage, she closed the door and walked in behind them. Pressing the button to close the garage door.

Bumblebee opened the drivers door for her, she lazily sat in. The pink in her hair had faded and she looked pale.

"... Are you okay Miko?" Was the first question Rafael asked. Miko perked up as she swirled her drink.

"Well this is my breakfast, so you can guess." She sighed as she took another drink. Rafael frowned as he adjusted his glasses. He looked at his notes and closed the book.

"Miko, what happened? None of the others will tell us." He spoke softly. He was impressed he hadn't stuttered from anxiety. Miko paused, she looked at him and then back at the steering wheel. She looked up, through the windshield. Staring at the grey wall.

"They really haven't told you?" She looked back at him. Rafael shook his head, "They haven't told either of us." Bumblebee gave beeps of agreement.

Miko broke out in laughter as she looked at them.

"Oh god… Megs may have had a point." She tapped her fingers against the dashboard. Rafael frowned and shifted. He and Bee waited for her to continue, after a moment in that silence she sighed.

"Easy! They said I overreacted, said I was Megatron 2.0, I left, I got kidnapped, Megatron took me to Japan and we talked about the Autobots and how they obviously favour Jack, I got put into a cage, Bulkhead punched Meg's while he was holding me! I go flying and my arms are fucked now! And according to even Optimus! It! Was! All! My! Fault!" She kicked the car mat. She paused and looked down, muttering a sorry to Bumblebee. No response came, they were stunned into silence. Miko sniffed and finished the Monster in one swig. She reached for the handle to leave, but found it locked. She looked back at Raf and then at Bee. A worried and an almost scared look crossed her face.

"Guys, please let me go." She sniffled. Rafael lunged forward and hugged her. She sat there for a moment and then hugged her. Miko sat there, still and frozen. She hugged back, the mech transformed around them, holding the two close as he crouched in the garage. Bee whined and hugged Miko too.

Then the sobbing came, Miko held onto Raf's vest and cried. He took a deep breath and held her back.

"Hey, hey… It's okay Miko. It's okay." He muttered. It was hard to wrap his mind around it all… That the Autobots would do that to Miko. Yeah, maybe the Autobots liked Jack a lot, but he had never thought it was that bad.

Miko sniffled and stood back. She wiped away her tears and stood up straight.

"But… What do you mean 'Megs' was right?" Rafael and Miko sat down, Bumblebee sat across from them. Sure a little hunched, but he was happy to be there. Miko looked at them.

"Promise not to tell."

"I promise." Rafael said. After what she had relieved, he wouldn't have told the Autobots anything about this meeting anyway.

"I promise too!" Bumblebee added. Rafael translated and Miko took her phone out, she went to her texts. Rafael frowned.

143 unread texts from Bulkhead alone, Jack had 56 messages unread and everyone else had contacted Miko days ago, but one number.

There was no name on it, just a shark emoji with two bucket emojis either side, this number had been last contacted a few hours ago.

"Miko? Who is that?" Rafael pointed at the screen. Miko tapped her foot against the ground as she smiled at the phone.

"Megatron… When he stole my phone he put his communication link into it." She explained. Bumblebee bounced up, but he whined as his head hit the roof. Miko yelped.

"Hey! Hey! Don't worry! It's chill! It's chill!" She reassured him, setting her phone down to go to him.

Rafael picked up the phone and carefully read the most recent chat… But there was no chat to be found.

All text bubbles were empty, perhaps a security feature Soundwave had designed.

"Have… Have you told him anything?" That was his first question, while he couldn't tell the Autobots. He wanted to make sure Miko wasn't going to get hurt from this. She shrugged as she walked into the door, into the kitchen and grabbed another can of Monster.

"Eh, just that Bulkhead keeps ringing me but never to say sorry and how different Earth and Cybertron are. Ya know he's a lot more lib-lib… Chatty than Optimus… Raf?" Miko called as she opened the can.

"Remember when… When we snuck into the ship to help save Fowler, remember what Jack said to me?" She asked. Rafael paused at the question, he pressed his lips together.

"That the war was not a game-" "And that I had a thick skull! Well ya know what? Those 'Bots seem to agree. I'm just some loud little girl with a thick skull!" She slammed the fridge close. A few magnets fell off. She grunted and stormed back into the garage.

"I'm the one that convinced Jack to come back to the base! Yet he's the golden child!" She grunted as she took another swig. She sighed as she looked down, she didn't have the energy to stay angry anymore.

"Megatron… He doesn't have such a harsh outlook on me." She admitted.

"Listen, Raf… I'm running off of fumes…" She admitted, "If you have something to say, say it quick. I was planning to practice guitar. Show my new best friend some of Earth's music… Remember? The music you guys seem to hate so much!" She leaned against a wall. Listening to Bumblebee whine and beep, finally Raf translated, "Bee wants you to come to the base. You've left a lot there- You don't have to talk to the others!" Rafael reasoned, Miko nodded as her phone started to buzz. She looked to see Bulkhead ringing, she sighed. She sighed and held up the phone.

"Ignore!" She hung up in the middle of a ring. Raf sighed as he looked at Bee who nodded and transformed back into the sports car. Miko watched Rafael get inside.

"Come on, we can get you some breakfast on the way!" Rafael offered. She closed her eyes and admitted defeat. She got into the back seat. Hoping she would not regret this.

.

.

The Autobot base was quiet, the late evening had set in. Miko watched as the horror movie flickered through clips of screaming half naked women. She looked at Bee.

"Got anything less old?" She sat back on the couch. Raf had his back to the screen. Hugging the pillow. Miko rubbed his back as he looked at her.

"Has it stopped yet?" He whispered. Miko looked back.

"No, she's still half naked and still being almost stabbed." Bumblebee looked through the tape box. He looked up and shook his head.

He whined and Raf sighed, "He says they have the creature from the black lagoon." Miko groaned, Bulkhead was beside them. Quiet as they sat and watched the movies.

He looked at Miko and then back at the screen, she did her best to ignore him.

Miko stretched as he looked at Raf, "Want some soda pop?" She offered. He nodded, so she stood and walked over to her bag. At the petrol station they grabbed some snacks and some fizzy drinks. She handed the cola to Raf as she sat beside him with her lemon soda. They watched as the Autobots were called away, everyone bar Bulkhead was sent to search for Breakdown, who had gotten taken out during a fight with Bulk. The Wrecker refused to go, afterall Breakdown was his enemy.

Rafael sat in between the two, the tense air was choking him. Finally he spoke up, "I hope Breakdown is okay." He frowned, he had no idea why he had said it. It was just to make conversation. Miko and Bulkhead looked at him.

"Once Optimus gets to him, I'm sure he'll be fine." Miko shrugged it off, "And if Breakdown tries to fight them! Ha! He'll get scrapped!" Miko chuckled to herself. Bulkhead grunted.

"I can't care less what happens to that bucket of bolts." He adjusted the way he stood, "As long as he gets scrapped." He clenched his fists together. Miko frowned as she watched him.

"What would be the point in that? He's your arch enemy! You should scrap him, not one of the others!" She pumped her fist into the air. Bulkhead watched as he frowned. She stood and walked to the railing.

"That's like Optimus letting someone else pound Megatron's aft in!" She crossed her arms and leaned against the railing. Bulkhead looked down. This was the first real conversation they had since the incident with the glass.

"From what the others told me, he kicked your aft in the last fight. Don't ya think it's time to get some payback? Godzilla vs Kong!" Miko laughed. Bulkhead frowned as he considered her words. He looked at the Groundbridge and then at the control console.

Miko and Rafael watched Bulkhead as he stumbled over to it. He started to press buttons and mutter. Miko smiled and looked at Raf, who had a worried look on his face. The Groundbridge burst to life, Bulkhead looked at the two. He started to step back.

"Okay! You two stay here, answer any calls that come in!" He turned and sprinted through. Rafael looked at Miko, and saw her gone. He spun to see her sprinting after Bulkhead.

"Miko! Where are you going!?" He called, Miko smiled and turned as the Groundbridge was closing. She stepped through it with her shouting, "Do what Bulk said- I ain't missing this smack down!"

He groaned… Well at least Miko was back to her usual self. He stood there, watching the Groundbridge disappear and he was alone…

.

.

Russia sucked, that's what Miko decided. It was cold, the sky was overcast and the entire area was abandoned and left to rot. Once these were houses, shops, hospitals and military buildings for what was once a military town for a few hundred families. They were all gone now, and now there was just Miko and the Autobots. Silently she followed Bulkhead, knowing he had some sense of where to go. She looked at the massive mountain that looked over the town, the noise of changing gears filled her ears. She looked over to see Bulkhead driving away, she stared and started to run after him.

"Wait! Bulkhead!? Bulk!" She cried out, but he was gone. She panted as she stopped and caught her breath. Staring at the dust cloud… Shit.

Miko looked left and right, great… Best to go find the others. Miko started to walk down the street, trying to avoid the shattered glass. Every now and again there was graffiti, black Russian letters with neon pink backgrounds. The buildings were grey, any paint had faded away from the weather. Miko looked down at her phone, a few thoughts went through her mind as she flipped it open. She had a few numbers...

Bulkhead, Optimus… Megatron. She stared at the emojis. He could come pick her up… But then the Autobots may see it. She dropped her shoulders and groaned as she flicked past his number. She paused at the base's number.

"Miko? Are you okay?" Rafael's voice came from the other end, she tapped her foot against the ground as she shrugged and regretted not having more for breakfast, "Yeah, but I lost Bulk. Can you see where his signal is?"

There was silence, then she heard beeping as he was typing stuff in. Miko kept walking as she looked around the town. She paused as the neon green cars drove past. She pressed her back against the wall, now those were not 'Cons. She frowned as finally Rafael came back.

"There is one… Weird signal coming from near you. Maybe that's where they are?" He guessed. She nodded as she looked at the hill.

"I think I know where, kay! Thanks Rafael!" She snapped her phone close and started to run. The cars were familiar, she knew that much. M.E.C.H's cars looked similar. She remembered the train incident very well. She wondered if Bulk knew M.E.C.H was here, if he didn't that could be trouble. Miko flipped her phone back on, ringing Bulkhead. She listened to it ring a few times.

No answer, okay, try again! Ringing again, and again and again…

"Miko!? What is it!?" Bulkhead answered, already annoyed. She frowned and went to speak but was cut off, "It hasn't even been five minutes! What kind of trouble are you in already!?" He groaned. Miko listened. She looked at the hill as he spoke.

She remembered why they had left, Optimus had said something about a rescue mission, Breakdown had something to do with it and now M.E.C.H was here.

She didn't have to be Rafael to put two and two together, and what was four was clear. Breakdown needed to be saved from M.E.C.H. She looked at her phone again, knowing whose number was inside.

"It's nothing." She snapped, she hung up before he could respond. Miko scrolled down the contact list to the bucket shark and pressed the call button. She pressed it to her ear as she started to march towards the hill.

It didn't matter if he picked up or not, really she didn't need to ring. It was just a nice thought that at least one person would know what she was knowing. She didn't have to worry about reprimands from him either, which was a plus.

One ring and a half, he answered.

"Miko! Ah, a pleasure to hear from you on this fine day, how may I help you?" He hummed, Miko took a deep breath.

"You tracking me right now?"

There was a pause.

"Soundwave could easily, why do you ask?" Suspicion was clear in his voice. She nodded. Good, so if stuff went down, someone knew where she last was.

"Because I'm about to repay that favour." With that, she hung up. Miko paused and looked at one of the abandoned buildings, she stepped inside. Broken glass, tore down shelves. Most importantly pipes. Miko picked up the largest and heaviest piece of a metal pipe. She swung it a few times, yep. That felt good. She stepped out of the building and continued walking. The grey sky looked ready to rain, yet it was almost too cold for it to rain. Maybe it could snow, Miko hoped. She loved the snow, but it never snowed in Jasper. She remembered the snowball fights in the schoolyard, she'd always win. She was just good like that. She perked up as train tracks, in shattered parts, crossed her path. Most of it was broken up, it was leading towards the hill. Miko smiled as she followed it, feeling like she was in her own movie. A daredevil loner, with a single weapon, following the abandoned train tracks.

She could hear the music already in her ears, a nice bass solo with slow drums. She hummed as she strutted, the tracks became more solid and less torn apart. As she walked, there sat a closed train shed. It had dug itself into the Mountain and all the tracks led there. Dried energon stained the ground. Miko felt her throat tightening, yep. This was the right place. Her hands were shaking as she looked at her phone. A message was there. She frowned as she flipped it open and unlocked the device.

I'm coming. Was the only text there. It was from the bucket shark. She swallowed, okay… Best to make this quick. Miko marched to the door, cameras watching her. She banged her fist on the door, letting the adrenaline smother the fear that was threatening to make her puke. The door shuddered open, she paused. That was easy!

Two armed guards with AK-47s stared down at her. The colour on her face drained, she gripped the pipe as the two guns were cocked and aimed at her.

"Speak your business!" One shouted. Miko dropped the pipe as she looked at them both.

"Oh, I am sorry… I was on a field trip and lost my tour group!" She took steps back as she put on her best Russian accent. Not a good one, but her best one. She screamed as the one who stayed silent grabbed her by the sleeve and pulled her inside the door. He placed a hand on her shoulder, gripping it tightly as they pushed her ahead, deeper and deeper into the tunnel. She could hear torches and machines work ahead. Frowning as a blinding light sat on the end of the tunnel. Miko winced, closing her eyes as the light blinded her. There was a low groaning noise, she looked up to see Breakdown. He was tied down, wrists and ankles bound by iron to a large platform. His chest was ripped open, the machines were working on tearing him apart even more. He watched her, a look of fear on his face. One of his optics had been torn out, and the other looked ready to cry.

"General Silas! We've found an intruder!" One guard shouted, they shoved Miko down onto her knees. She grunted as she kicked away from them standing. She eyed them as she stepped away.

"Thanks for being gentle!" She snapped, she turned and saw Silas. A tall, defined white man with minimal scarring to his face, the largest one was across his nose. He eyed Miko as she braced herself.

"Ah, yes…. I remember you. You helped these aliens take my nuclear device a month ago." He tilted his head as he remembered. He looked at the Decepticon with a look of disdain. Miko pulled away from them, she couldn't help herself. She was quick to go to Breakdown, she stared at the optic, lack thereof. She placed a hand around it, it was leaking energon and the wires inside were sparking.

He tried to make himself look tough, grimacing at her. Yet his expression fell, he was afraid.

"What have they done?" She had never seen anything like this. Even when the 'Cons had Fowler, they never ripped him apart. Breakdown grunted.

"Nothing that they won't pay for! Anyway, what's an Autobot pet doing here!?" He snorted. Miko shrugged as she looked at the pocket that hid her phone. She looked back at him and wiped some energon off with her sweatband.

"Just paying off a debt." She admitted, yelping, she was grabbed by Silas. He ripped her phone and pushed her away. Miko grunted as her back hit the platform Breakdown laid on, she rubbed her back as he looked at her texts. His eyes narrowed as he turned back to her. She clenched her fist.

"Now, who would this 'Bucket, shark, bucket' be?" He turned to her fully, "I'd like to know how and why they're coming?" He marched to her. Miko held her breath as he grabbed her by the sleeve, pulling her close.

"You'll find out if ya don't let Breakdown go!" She swung, and hit him in the face. She hissed in pain as she held her head, Silas's face had been turned. He was slow to correct it, he eyed down at her. Miko screamed as a knee found it's way into her stomach. She doubled over in pain as she gasped for breath, then his fist came down onto the back of her head. She fell to her knees, gasping for breath and whining in pain. He grabbed her by the scruff of the shirt and lifted her up.

"Wrong answer." He growled. Miko pressed her lips together and swung her leg. Kicking him in the stomach. She realized her mistake when it hurt her more than it hurt him. He dropped her as she tried to punch him again and again. He just took them, and watched her with disappointment. Finally he decided to put an end to it.

Miko cried out as her arm was grabbed. By the shoulder and the elbow, she stared at him.

"If you wish to act like a child, you shall be punished like one." He gripped her arms, Miko cried out as she kicked and struggled. The pain made tears come into her eyes.

"Pop goes the weasel." He sneered.

Miko screamed as the pop echoed through the room, her shoulder hung loose. She stared at the dislocated joint, a punch came to her cheek as she fell. Sobbing in pain, her good arm was cuffed and she was chained to the same platform Breakdown was stuck on. She stared at her arm as Silas took her phone and went to one of the other men. Breakdown frowned as he adjusted himself the best he could.

"Squishy? Squishy? Ya aren't dead, are ya?" He whispered. Miko shook her head as she looked at him.

"Just… Just hurt." She choked on her tears, he narrowed his eyes.

Miko pulled at her handcuff, with whatever might she could muster. It was not enough, it would never be. Silas watched her for a moment before addressing her again, "Now, if you'd be so kind… What is your name?" He grunted. She stared up at him in terror, he commanded power much like Megatron. But something was twisted and horrid about his air, unlike the mechs.

"Mi-Miko, why?" She stuttered out, every small move she made pain race through her body, trying not to scream. Silas tutted as he closed his eyes, he opened them lazily as he talked to her.

"You're allied with the Autobots, correct?"

She nodded and he chewed the inside of his cheek.

"So why help the enemy?" He gestured to Breakdown. Miko looked back at him and frowned, "No one, not even a Con deserves this." She admitted. Breakdown smiled as Silas chuckled.

"Deserve? Please, you speak to them like they are human." He shook his head. Miko paused.

"What? They're not animals!"

"They might as well be! Their Aliens! In the end you must realize… It is us or them, and we have too much to gain to let them win." He gestured to Breakdown, "Right now. We are tearing them apart, taking all his pieces and examining them. We shall learn how these machines work… And we shall make our own, we could create some of the greatest armies with it." He ranted. Miko stared, she looked at Breakdown. Whose fear had returned. Silas leaned down to face her, "And you stand on the side of these machines, instead of the side of your fellow man."

Miko stared up at him, she grimaced and spat on his face, "Barely would call you a man, you damn animal!" A cold fury filled his face, he wiped his face off and that was when the kicking started. Miko screamed as his foot slammed into her stomach. Miko sobbed and struggled, making her arm hurt more and more as he kept kicking her. Finally a roar cut through the noise, a soft rattling came from the platform. Silas stepped away, Breakdown had managed a weak struggle. Silas growled and went to the deck, a scientist walked down instead. Typing something into the computer, Breakdown gasped as his whole body went limp. Miko swallowed, taking deep breaths, she stood.

"Breakdown? Breakdown, you okay?" She called. He managed to move his lips, but no sound came out and a loose noise just came out. She looked at them, the scientist stepped away from the computer and they went back to working. Miko held her stomach as the other arm laid slack. Throbbing in pain. She sat down, taking deep breaths as she took in the situation.

"Am… I going to die?" She muttered breathlessly. Tears started to run down her cheek. Breakdown could not answer as he, himself, was being torn apart and dissected like some frog in a high school lab. Miko curled into a ball, a familiar feeling washed over her as she cried. Dammit, she was stupid. Maybe they were right. Maybe she just was trouble, for everyone and everything around her.

The crash stung her ears as the alarm blared. Miko looked up as guards went charging ahead, guns pointed as Silas frowned. Miko watched him leave with a small party of men. He was silent as he watched her in return, a grimace across his face. Miko looked back at Breakdown who just groaned. A blast followed by screams sounded from the entrance, Miko smiled.

"Optimus!?" Miko called, "Bulkhead!?" She stood to the best of her capability. She cried out in pain as she screamed.

"We're here! Guys! We're over here! Bulk! Bulk, we're here!" Her voice cracked as she kept calling, for a moment the screaming and the gunfire stopped. The crashing metal footsteps sounded closer and closer as Miko called. She paused as she listened.

"That isn't Bulk…" She muttered, she took steps away as a car motor roared and the Aston Martin burst in. Miko felt her mouth go dry as her throat tightened.

Knockout, medic of the Decepticon cause, was here…

He transformed and stared down at his assistant. A panicked look crossed his face, he ignored Miko. His hand transformed into a saw blade as he cut away at Breakdown's constraints. Miko turned her gaze back to the entrance and her eyes met his. The red eyes with the snow white rings.

"What has occurred here now?" He snarled, "Breakdown? How could you have been so weak as to…" His rant was stopped as he observed the area. The saws, the restraints, the wires connecting to Breakdown's system. Knockout stood and went to the computers.

"They've almost put him into a stasis lock! But.. Egh. Fleshies, it's crude and he's very much conscious. He's also lost about half of his internal wiring!" Knockout whined. A voice cleared its throat, Miko stared as Starscream bowed to walk in.

"As you can see Lord Megatron, my plan to rescue dear Breakdown was not in vanity. These humans are dangerous!" Starscream stared at Miko, if he had a nose it would be scrunched. His wings lowered and he looked at Megatron.

"Why are the Autobot's pet here?" He frowned. Miko looked away. Megatron snarled at Starscream who shut up, the warlord crawled his way over to her. He frowned as he ran a claw around her arm, she pulled away.

"He broke my arm…" She muttered. Megatron growled, his blade extended out and it slammed down on the handcuff chains, she winced as it shattered. She pulled her hand away, sitting on his other hand's palm.

"Miko shall not hear your whining, Starscream." Megatron snapped, the seeker shut up as Miko smiled at Megatron.

"He did try to save me when Silas was hurting me." She looked at Breakdown, who was groaning as he started to move with Knockout's help. Megatron stayed silent but nodded. He held Miko's arm, "Hold still." He ordered. Miko tensed, she closed her eyes. Then she screamed as the pain shot through her arm and that's all she saw.

.

.

.

Miko groaned as she woke. Her arm was tied against her. She looked around, bright purple lights were burning into her. She covered her eyes with the other arm. She looked down at herself, she was… Miko jumped up. She hissed in pain and then looked around. She was in a glass box with no lid. A mattress laid under her as a blanket was on top. Bandages were wrapped around her every so often along her limbs. A pile of folded clothing was beside her. Knockout had his back to her, Megatron was not in the room which caused her to worry more. As much as she hated it, Megatron had become her protector, and the 'Cons feared him. She moved, wincing in pain. Breakdown cleared his throat and Knockout turned to her. He smiled as he walked over to her, Miko tensed in fear as he leaned over her.

"Ah, Megatron's little pet is finally awake! I'll message him then… But how are you feeling dear?" He hummed. Miko frowned as she looked at her clothes. He ignored her and went back to Breakdown, he was speaking into his comns. Miko pulled the blanket over her like a cloak and held it as tight as she could. She started to move towards the clothes. She looked up to see Breakdown watching her and she stopped. She became conscious of how nude she was. It was cold here, dammit, it was freezing. He grunted as Knockout was wielding an eye-patch to his faceplate. Miko continued to crawl. The door hissed open as Megatron stepped in. He scanned the room and then his eyes fell to Miko. He smirked as he approached, she pulled the blanket over her even tighter. He tilted his head, and with his finger, he pushed the clothes to her. Miko smiled as he turned his back to her.

"Thanks… So, why am I here?" She gestured around as she slipped the clothes on. He glanced back before swiftly looking away.

"Your Autobot 'friends' opened fire before they realized you were in our custody." He explained, Miko frowned and nodded. She was given a loose shirt with sweatpants by the 'Cons. Comfy and wouldn't push on the bandages. She walked to the edge of the glass, Megatron picked her up and sat her on the desk beside Breakdown and Knockout. She sighed as she sat there, reflecting on the events of the day.

"... They're never going to let me back!" She blurted, they all looked over at her, "I sneak into the 'bridge! To save a 'Cons! To repay a debt I had to the King 'Con!" She ranted, she fell back and stared at the ceiling.

"They'll send me back to Japan… They'll lock me up!" She just laid there. Megatron leaned over, blocking her view of the ceiling. She perked up as he spoke, "Then my offer is a practical opportunity to stay in this war... But this time with the side that can actually make use of your character." He smiled at her. Miko remembered it well.

"Join you guys?" She sat up, Breakdown chuckled as he looked at Knockout. The medic titled his head back at the idea.

"Our own little human pet, how fun! I'd have an excuse to go racing…" Knockout tilted his head to the side, he stiffened as Megatron growled. Miko laughed as she looked at Breakdown who sighed.

"I'd be funny seeing Bulkhead's reaction, ha! The wrecker wouldn't know what hit him!" He chuckled. Miko frowned, oh yeah… Bulk. She closed her eyes as she remembered her time with him. When they'd listen to Slash Monkey together, when he'd rock out with her… Maybe even when they'd rock out together. Yet the memories of recent times, it'd stung. She looked at Megatron.

Optimus had Jack, and all the Autobots seemed content with just him and Raf. She was just an extra mouth to feed. She looked at Megatron, remembering the flight and the talk they had.

"Well… It was you at the cliff, not Bulk." She mumbled, "And well!" She laughed as she clapped her hands.

"Flying with you was super cool! None of the 'Bots can do that! And that was super cool! Flying around!" She did flying motions with her arm. Megatron chuckled.

"So, shall I take that as a yes?" He tilted his head. Miko stood, she smiled and outstretched her hand.

"You've got yourself a human! Partner?" Miko giggled. Megatron smiled, he extended his index and shook her small hand.

"It's a pleasure to have you in our ranks… Partner." He chuckled.
