"Long before time had a name, there was the first realm to live, known simply as The First Realm, or for those who dived deeper into history would call it 'The Realm Of Dragon and Oni'.
Within this realm there was one, one who was born with the ability to created and destroy, a gift he would regret to bear.
The dragons within the realm seeked the creation part of him, something they were known for being able to carry, to want, to view as superior.
The Oni seeked the destruction, they seemed an elemental ability of a gift they already possessed. This gift was far more special then any gift they were born with, spare with one who was born with similar power, save for the lack of creation within him. He too was a dragon-oni.
The dragons wished for nothing within the other one, and it made him jealous, it made him wish for things to be different.
He had to permately obtain the power possessed inside of the other, and he had a few ideas on how to claim it.
He shared his plans to the Oni and they all agreed and the war truly begun.
The dragons and Oni fought viciously over the boy, and soon he seemed it enough and vanished from the realm completely one day.
While the war was going on he had created another realm in secret, a realm he named 'Ninjago'.
He reluctantly opened it up to be a sanctuary for creatures to hide in as the war presumed. Within this war he met a maiden. Her name is not quite known yet, however it is believed to me Neverah, or along the lines of that.
Together they had two sons, named Wu and Garm-"
"No offense, but this story is kinda boring." A male brunette spoke up, slightly playing with his hair. "I get that you want to educate us on history, Misako, but this is kinda ridiculous." He added. "We know what we need to know, dont we?"
A blonde haired boy with emerald green eyes shot daggers to the brunette. "Kai, zip it. Let my Mom finish her story."
Kai rolled his eyes in response and sighed loudly. "Okay." He grimaced. "Whatever you say, Boss." Kai have Lloyd a thumbs up before going back to playing his video game with another boy.
The blonde scowled slightly then turned back to his mother who was just shaking her head. "Sorry." He apologized to her with a shy smile.
"No, Lloyd. It's quite alright. I was just starting to ramble. I was just do excited about finding these history books that I just had to share the stories told within them." She smiled to Lloyd. "I'll get out of your hair, and dont forget to wear your necklace at Jay and Nya's wedding. They put a lot of effort into getting them."
"We know." A boy with raven-coloured hair smiled, the boy Kai was playing a video game with. "You dont have to keep reminding us, there's no way we'll forget! It's far too important."
Misako tilted her head slightly and said. "Well, if you insist. Just please dont forget, it means so much to them, you know this."
"We know, Mom." Lloyd reassured her, standing up and resting his hand on her shoulder. "We cant possibly forget, Jay and Nya been on us about it too."
"What have we been on you guys about?" The ninja heard another voice shout from the room nextdoor.
"Just about the necklaces you and Jay got us for the wedding." Kai shouted back to the female.
She hummed and shouted at them again. "Dont forget to wear them!"
"We wont!" The third member of the party laughed. "We'll set up a reminder in Zane and Pixal!" He put extra emphasis on 'and'.
"Sounds like a great idea!" She called back. "You boys can go do that right now."
Kai sighed loudly and said just as loudly. "I'll go find Zane and Pixal, Nya wont let us not do it now that the idea is in her head." He added with a chuckle.
"Alrighty." Lloyd grinned, giving Kai a thumbs up. "Sounds good, atleast then everyone can get off our backs about it." He added jokingly, resulting in the third boy to roll his eyes.
"Even if we do theyll still be on us." He sighed. "We shall never be free." He added with a slight chuckle.
Misako sighed and said. "If you kids didnt constantly forget stuff we wouldnt have to feel the need to remind you."
"Big words coming from people who dont even tell us stuff till we're in a predicament." Kai pointed out with a grin.
Misako sighed once more and shook her head. "That's Wu, but fair point." She told him. "But either way, I'll be leaving you kids be, Cole please dont cook dinner tonight, just order pizza or something." She told the third boy in the party who frowned.
"You guys are mean." He objected.
"No we're not!" Lloyd laughed. "You seriously can't cook, buddy."
Cole shook his head and said. "No, you're mean! Mean!" He chuckled. "But fine, only if we watch a movie tonight." He added to them.
The group very quickly agreed and Kai pipped up. "Who will pick the movie though?"
Lloyd and Cole exchanged a glance and both sighed. "I guess it's whenever we agree on a movie." Lloyd said. "We'll just keep bringing up movies till we decide, shouldnt take more than two years." He added jokingly.
Cole and Kai both laughed. Cole forced himself to stand up from where he was sitting on the floor. "Well, I'm gonna go get some snacks and order the pizza."
"We'll set up the place." Kai told him. "Try not to eat all the snacks."
"Eating all the candy is Lloyd's job." Cole grinned to the blonde boy.
Lloyd frowned and said. "Look... candy is good, okay?" He defended himself. "You cant blame me!"
"We can and we will." Cole responded with a laugh, Kai agreeing with Cole swiftly.

From afar though, there was another. Another hybrid, another one with powers beyond the ninja's understanding.
A tapping could be heard on a wall. A voice rung out clearly, yet quietly. It was a voice that would scare anyone into submission. "Let the games begin, Little Humans." It said, a slight glow emitting from a wall, where whatever spoke stood, staring directly into the wall, ignoring it's surroundings. Ice circled the creature, it was almost trapped in a ball of ice, but it quickly vanish when the creature's head moved.
As it spoke a grin formed on it'd features, razor sharp teeth being revealed as it's upper-lip pulled back to show a toothy grin. "I can't wait to play with you all. I'm sure itll be quite the game."
