She crouched there, watching the waves of the ocean. Her auburn hair blew around, coving the side of her face. She was still waiting, and she would not stop.

I was standing to the side, watching her writing something in the sand, and if I knew myself, it was the one word that haunted my dreams every night…

Sora…

The waves crashed into the shore, and I wanted to scream, "Watch out!", but my words were stuck, and I watched her helplessly. The waves washed away the words in the sand, but Kairi still crouched there, ignoring the water touching her feet. She began writing the same thing again.

And I stood there, watching her every move. It was all my fault. It really was all my fault. Sora went away because of me. It was all my fault.

Sora and Kairi were born to be together. I was born to break them apart. It was all my fault. I was a Nobody. But if I was a Nobody, how come my heart was aching? How come I was jealous of them two? I was jealous when I saw her…

I saw her kissing. Him. Sora. And I fell heartbroken. And that next day, she cried to me and told me Sora was gone. Did I tell her what happened? No, not at first. And then I did, and she was crying for months.

But now all she was doing was… mourning for Sora to come back.

"Why did you come?" Kairi was looking at me, staring, scanning, looking.

I coughed a little. "I wanted to tell…" she didn't take her eyes off of my face. There were still tears on her face, and her face still had that sad look. Then I did something that I didn't even know why I did.

I kissed her.

We didn't talk after that. We were both too embarrassed. And I blamed myself even more. What if Sora – he would blame me forever.

"Why did you kiss me?" Kairi looked at my eyes. I looked into hers.

"Because…" Because, your face, your personality…

Was just too addicting.

"Because I -" Kairi put her finger on my lips. I looked into her mesmerizing eyes.

Then she kissed me.
