Miko watched the screens move, Soundwave was diligent as he typed away. The silent mech moved screens in and out of the way, Miko had no idea what he was making. Well, there was a smaller version of their datapads. They looked like the human tablets, but were thinner and had larger screens in general. There was also no on or off nor volume control button. Miko inched towards the terminal keyboard and Soundwave, trying to get a better look at the words. Her classes were going slowly but surely, she could now make out each Cybertronian letter from each other but not words. Soundwave turned to look at her, she froze, sitting forward and staring forward as stiff as anyone could possibly be. He reached over, his fingers creeped her out. They were so skinny, she wasn't even sure if he had knuckles. It just looked like a bendy straw. He tapped her head a few times, she blinked as he pulled away. Miko blinked, she looked at him confused. He just typed away, then the Cybertronian letters disappeared. She yelled as it turned to kanji, she stared at it wide-eyed. She could see what he was typing, kind of. She guessed it was some kind of code, to translate the one language to the other. She giggled and squealed as he unplugged the small datapad and handed it to her, the screen read in kanji. He typed into the computer again, a message came through.
Respond to this message.
Miko paused, she pressed onto the message and the keyboard appeared. She typed in 'hello' and pressed the arrow button. Her response appeared on Soundwave's terminal, he nodded and changed his terminal back into Cybertronian, he typed and the message appeared for her in kanji.
Network translation test.
She typed again, 'It works!' The message appeared in Cybertronian on his screen. He nodded and shut off the communication link. She smiled as she looked at her pad, the power button on the top of the screen. She tapped it, the screen went black, bar the power button which glowed a soft purple. She looked at Soundwave, "So!? I get to keep this all for myself!?" She squealed. He nodded as the screen changed to show some of the things she had requested with Megatron. Tougher clothing, as well as fabrics. Miko yelped as she was wrapped up by a tentacle, she was lifted to the screen, it uncurled so she simply perched on top of it. She beamed as she started to point at what she wanted.
"Oooh! The pink fabric! See it!? It's super pretty!" She tried to stand, her balance was unsteady. A second tentacle moved behind her, acting like a wall for her to lean against it. She kept one hand on it, using the other to wildly gesture. Somehow the third in the command was able to keep up with it all.
"Oh! That one too!"
"Dude! Check out that one!"
"Oooh! I've wanted to get that one for ages! I can't believe they still have it there!"
"That one is super cute." She moved forward and looked at a hoodie. It only reached midway down her torso, but the sleeves were super long. It was jet black, with a cute rabbit on it, it was a rabbit skull she was pretty sure. She smiled as Soundwave typed away, soon Vehicons would be sent to collect all the requested supplies. She smiled as she turned back to him, he set her down and turned to the doorway. She frowned, peeking from behind. The door to the Bridge hissed open. The grey goliath she called friend marched in, his face was in a tight frown as he marched in, his arms barely but still swinging back and forth at his sides. All the Vehicons started to work even harder, not wanting to appear lazy before him. The Warlord examined the room, his optics landed on her, it was hard to miss her. She was jumping up and down, waving her arms. He marched over, his helm tilting to the side. Soundwave crossed one arm over his chest, the other behind his back and bowed to his master.
"Megatron! Dude! Check out the tablet Soundwave gave me!" She lifted it up high above her head, but paused, lowered it and then turned it on and then showed it to him again. He chortled and bowed to be closer. He cocked his helm to the side and nodded.
"I expect you shall be customising it as soon as you can." He rested his chin between his thumb and index, Miko paused as she looked at it. Indeed there was a homepage where the different apps were located. She frowned as she looked at him.
"Ooohh! I can, like, add wallpapers and that kind of stuff?" She sat on the desk, her eyes wide as she toyed with it. Soundwave silently pointed to one of the apps, Miko clicked onto it. Ah! Customization! She frowned, she had no images currently on the device, but it had an option to take a photo for the wallpaper. She smirked, clicking on it, the camera faced down into her lap. She lifted up the tablet, Megatron moved back but was too late. A flash lit up his face, he grunted as the camera snapped the pic. Miko burst out laughing, Megatron's eyes were spread a little too far and his pupils a little too small to look correct. She snickered as she selected that picture, it now sat neatly on her homepage. The Warlord grunted and scooped her up, pinching the back of her shirt and dragging her onto his palm. She blinked as she sat there, he let go of her shirt and held her to his chest.
"Bye Wave-man!" She called, waving to Soundwave as Megatron brought her to his terminal. Soundwave waved as he turned back to his work. She jumped off the servo and onto the desk, she smiled as she stuck the landing, whooping to herself. She sat down, looking at the datapad. Miko sighed as she looked at the contact list, Megatron, Soundwave, Breakdown, Knockout and Starscream. She could change their names on it, she smiled.
Bucket-Shark, Wave-man, B.D, and Doc Knock. She looked at Starscream's name, and decided just to leave it alone.
"So!? What are the plans for today!?" She smiled, her legs dangling over the edge and kicking in the air. Megatron watched, his optics swaying back and forth with them. He glanced at his terminal with a cocked helm. She set the datapad down and tilted her head.
"I have nothing planned as of yet, but I am sure we could begin with your physical training." He gestured to himself and then her, her eyes widened as she squealed and laughed.
"Seriously!? Dude! What are we waiting for!?" She stood with a wobble. Tucking the datapad under her arm, she ran to the side of the keyboard. He chuckled as he put his servo before her, stopping her from running onto it. She smiled as she fell to lean on his knuckle. He moved his servo downwards, she squealed as she sat on the back of his servo.
"Vehicon's have morning training first, after their routine is finished. We shall go in an hour or so." He hummed. Miko nodded, Megatron frowned and moved his servo. She laughed as she held onto his armour, the fingers protruded from the rest of the servo, underneath it.
Megatron paused, he moved it again and Miko held on still. He chuckled and kept moving his servo, yet Miko held strong. Her laughs were filling the Bridge, then the servo threw itself back suddenly. She yelled as she slid forward, but held on.
"I will never be dethroned!" She roared. Megatron smirked and started to wave his servo more recklessly. Miko held on, her laughs were bordering on coughs as the servo stopped. She let go, her palm and fingers were red as she laid back. She looked at the warlord who was grinning down at her. She waved up to him.
"Having fun, pet?" He hummed. Miko paused. It was the first time she had been called that by him, the other 'Cons had been implying she was Megatron's pet. Yet it was strange hearing him echo that fact, confirming it almost. She turned to face him.
"Yeah, but, like, why did you call me pet?" She stood steadier than the first time. She outstretched her arms, balancing as she walked up his arm. He tilted his helm as he watched her.
"Because, you have a nickname for me. So! I shall give you a nickname of your own." He tapped her head with his index and middle finger. Miko laughed as her hair became messy and the bands started to fall out.
"Why do I even bother tying up my hair with you?" She stepped away from him, running her fingers through her hair and undid the hairbands. Her hair fell around her, it reached down to the end of her shoulder blades. She smiled as she fluffed up her hair, making it messy in a stylish sense now. He titled his helm as he looked at her.
"Your hair, the colour dye in it? Why don't you dye it fully pink?" He lifted up a lock of hair, the end of it was the baby pink. Miko had talked about her hair for some lengths when they spoke over phone calls. She paused and turned to him.
"Oh!? Ha! Like my parents would ever let me, I'd like to.. But this is as far as my parents would let me." She pulled down a single strand, looking at the pink with some fondness, "I wish I could, dude! I'd shave my head and then dye it all over." She gestured to her hair. She ran her s just around her ear and bottom half of her head. The Warlord huffed and tilted his helm.
"Why should their opinions matter? They are nowhere near you and cannot actually punish you, can they?" He leaned down to be more level with her. She looked up at him, he was huge. Even his helm and faceplate compared to her. She was smaller than his nose… If he had a nose.
"They can still make me head back, or refuse to let me go home!" She gestured to her bag, "I don't want to leave you guys yet!" She crossed her arms. He snorted, examining her hair. Her hair was well kept and maintained. He remembered his thoughts this morning, to pamper her. She was his pet, his own human pet.
"Well, pet, if you were to move back to Japan… We could always use the Groundbridge to retrieve you. After All, unlike the Autobots we are not on an energon limit." He chuckled. Miko turned, she stared at him star-eyed. She giggled, "Really? You'd keep me around?" She grabbed her tablet. She frowned, flicking onto the search app. She paused, oh. It was just Google, she wasn't sure what she was expecting. Some Cybertronian search engine? Ah, well. Google atleast was familiar.
"Why of course, your location is irrelevant to us. As long as you're loyal and willing, I shall retrieve you and bring you here with me." He tapped her side with his claw, she smiled as she looked up at him. He leaned over and looked at her screen, she typed into the search engine and images appeared. Pictures of women's and men's heads, with a specific haircut being the only thing in common. Shaved sides with the middle part moving downwards being the longest. He tilted his helm as he saw the photos, some of them were ugly. The rest looked okay, it all depended on how the shortcut and the longer cut merged together. He looked at Miko, "I like these! They're called mullets, or some of them are different." She smiled as she sat back. Showing the different photos, he nodded.
"I realise some of them are really ugly. But, I like these! See? Er, this one." She chose a photo of an Asian man. His hair had been shaved down quite close to the skin with a hard line along the border of the short and long hair. He nodded.
"I see no problem with it," He stood straight, "Yet I recommend you ask Knockout about anything cosmetic." He started to type on his terminal, his optics carefully scanning what he was reading. He glanced at Miko, who was content playing with her new device. He hummed and chuckled, at least she had something to entertain her. It would keep her quiet for a while, until she got bored of course. Then he would be off flying again, he would be listening to the guitar and doing laps around the ship. He, of course, didn't mind, he liked the exercise. He crossed his arms behind his back, reading the reports. He hummed to himself as he nodded. A confirmation message, he'd have to overview twelve mines for two days, he wouldn't have to do it for another week. But still. He resisted the urge to groan, or slam his fist into the desk. He cocked his helm to the side.
"Pet?" He called.
"Yes Lord Shark Bucket?" She grinned as she leaned back to look at him. He snorted and shook his helm. She turned to him, standing up with her arms outstretched. She laughed as she balanced herself. She walked to the edge of the terminal. Megatron looked back at the screen, "In a week we will be doing check-up visits on twelve Energon mines over the course of two days. Understood?" He looked back at her, he hummed as he saw her staring back up at him, a look of awe and excitement had come over her. She squealed as she ran in place, her fists punching the air.
"Energon mine field trip! Let's go!" She laughed, taking steps away from the edge and continued in her excitement.
"Dude! We can play music, watch the night sky, camp out, make smores!" She laughed at the idea. He pouted, he looked at the screen. He didn't have the spark to tell her it'd be visiting the mines, head back to the Nemesis and then go to the next one after a refuel and break. He had never considered sleeping outside a pleasant outing, why humans do it for leisure will be a mystery to him.
"Actually… Er, do you guys have crackers?" She turned to the grey mech. He tilted his helm and chuckled.
"Cybertronians can consume chrome-alloy based items, I remember when we were younger. Soundwave had favoured iron fillings." He frowned as he sat back, remembering the days where those weren't luxuries. Well, they weren't luxuries for him ever. Maybe for Soundwave and Orion… He shuddered and stood a little straighter. He looked at Miko, frowning as she was looking at him with some concern.
"Dude? You okay?" She stood on the very edge of the desk. He looked at himself in the reflection of the screen. His optic pupils had shrunken a little. He blinked a few times and they returned to normal. He smirked as he looked at her. He placed his servo beside her, and she slipped on. Once again taking her place, perching on his index. He lifted her up, observing her for a moment. She was like a bird perched up on his knuckle. Her legs were swinging as she beamed up at him. He tutted.
"Such a pretty pet, I may get you a terrarium yet. One with a bird bath." He hummed. He said the first part mindlessly. He looked over at her things, carefully tucked beside the screen. Her guitar and an amp rested there. He looked back at her, and noticed something odd about her face.
It had gone a soft shade of pink. She was smiling slightly, yet her eyes looked at an unknown distance in nothingness. He frowned, his helm now tilted to the side as he looked at her. He lifted her up to be optic level with him. She snapped her head around to look at him.
"Oh! Erm… Hi!" She waved, her cheeks got even redder and then began to fade slowly back to their normal colour. He huffed as he examined her, nothing else was turning red anyway.
He placed a digit on her forehead, it didn't seem to be a fever. She wasn't unusually warm in body temperature.
"Your cheeks turned red, are you feeling alright?" He watched her eyes go wide. She placed a hand on her face. He could feel his temper running short. He did not like being out of the loop, especially when it could be Miko's health. He watched her chest rise as she took a deep breath, and it collapsed as she spoke in a hurried tone.
"You do realise you called me pretty right?" She gestured over to him. He pulled his helm back. His optics widened as he replayed it in his mind. He stood a little straighter and brought her away from his faceplate. He nodded.
"I did, yes. Don't worry, don't think much about it." He moved his index up and down, Miko laughed as she moved up and down.
"But I am correct, you are pretty. But I mean it platonically." He reassured her. She nodded, but her smile didn't waver. She sat there, her hands holding her shirt with a grin on her face. He examined her as she sat on his finger. He was mostly looking at her hair, imagining her with different hair styles.
"So… I could make you energon… With chrome metal…Smores!?" Miko's idea was shouted to the entire Bridge. Megatron lowered his servo down. He nodded as he looked back at the window that sat before them.
"It'd be interesting to try." He had never considered such things before. He set her down, Miko smiled as she went over to the guitar and its speaker. She started to plug things in, Megatron sighed as he typed his correspondents, he would be bringing Miko with him to the mines. He tilted his head, while he was never going to say yes to the camping idea. A simulated situation similar to it could be done in his office or bedroom. He growled. He didn't like the idea of having her in his bedroom. He liked his privacy, and his bedroom was his most private quarter. No one bar him had been inside of it, he kept some of his more personal items inside. He tilted his helm. No, his office would have to do. Luckily it was spacious and he could move around some furniture. He almost jumped as Miko slammed her hand down onto the guitar, the instrument roared as she laughed. He frowned as she started to play, experimenting with it for a moment. There was something off about the noise as she played. She wasn't playing it unwell, but the noise just wasn't right.
"Ha! Whatcha think of that?" She smiled as she strummed it again. She paused with a frown as he had his servo over his audio receiver. She adjusted the way she was standing, her shoulders slumped. She was ready to get shouted at, just like Ratchet would shout at her, just like her parents.
"Something about it doesn't sound right… Soundwave!" Megatron roared, he turned to Soundwave who was already approaching, "See if you can fix the issue." He ordered. Miko set down her guitar. She dreaded to think what 'fixing' meant. Was he just going to destroy the guitar? Destroy the speaker? His tendrils extended, one picked up the guitar and the other strummed it a few times. She took steps away. Soundwave's screen came to life. It glowed, playing a note. One tendril turned the pegs on the guitar, playing it again and readjusting again and then playing it. Miko realised he was tuning it.
"It was out of tune?" She looked at Megatron. She hadn't realised it was. He raised an eyebrow.
"It would appear so, how did you not realise it wasn't tuned?" He watched as Soundwave finished tuning. He strummed it, playing some chords. He was testing it, then the tendrils moved over to the speaker. Adjusting the knobs on that.
"No, I had a book that was supposed to show me how to tune it… Guess it wasn't a good book." She smiled as she was handed back the guitar. She started to play it again. The sound was exceptionally better. She paused as she looked at the two titans and beamed.
"Woah! Thanks Wave-man! Now, let's rock!" The silent mech left as Miko started to play. Megatron nodded to himself as he read the reports from Starscream.
He looked back at Miko, who had sat down, playing calmer melodies. She hummed as she continued, she smiled at Megatron who had the ghost of a grin on his face. Soundwave walked over. The grey goliath glanced at Miko, he nodded and went to Soundwave. She was left alone on the desk, marooned without a way to get down it. Megatron was examining something on Soundwave's screen. She inched forward, trying to see what it was. It kind of looked like those waterpark rides where you'd spin around the inside on a rubber donut. Megatron was humming to himself as he examined the image. He smirked, and chuckled quite loudly. Almost drowning out the noise of the door opening. Miko smiled widely as Breakdown walked in. He smiled at her, waving as he walked behind Megatron.
"I recognize this magnetic signature Soundwave." Megatron spoke suddenly. He raised and clenched his fists. Miko slipped off the guitar and walked over to the edge of the desk. He glanced back at her with a wide smirk. His attention was captivated by the screen though.
"And it'd be unfortunate to have a Decepticon invention, such as this used against us." He lowered his arm, Miko watched as Breakdown's shoulders raised up. A look of hope crossed his faceplate.
"I will secure the weapon Lord Megatron." He stood straight, arms at his side as he spoke. He never lifted his optic to meet Megatron's. Maybe he was too afraid to, the black eyepatch reflected the lights in the room. Miko felt a twinge of guilt as she looked at it, he didn't deserve what happened to him. No one deserved that to happen to them.
Megatron paused, he turned to Breakdown with a frown, "Breakdown? Heh." He turned fully to face the smaller blue mech. Miko swallowed, realising just how tall Soundwave and Megatron both were. It seemed Breakdown also had that feeling.
"If you could be bested by humans… What chance do you have against the Autobots..?" Megatron snarled, he glanced at Miko. The memories of them both chained that the 'Doctors table' were fresh in his mind. A mech with his chestplate torn open, optic stripped from his helm and yet he was still very much conscious and aware, and Miko… Bruised and battered, sitting there beside him, one arm out of its socket. So it gave the impression it was longer, yet it just looked so wrong. Without waiting for Breakdown, Megaton turned away. Marching back to her.
"So!? So were the Autobots!" Miko called. The three mech's looked at her. Once realising she had the room's full attention, she adjusted the way she was standing.
"Appreantly they got caught in some kind of bomb trap, I dunno." She shrugged. Megatron tutted and tilted his head back. Miko looked back at Breakdown, he was moving his weight from pede to pede. He had his servos clasped together in front of him, his gaze met hers. She took a deep breath and then an idea came to mind, a wide grin. She jumped up and looked back at Megatron, who had in this time had closed the distance and was right beside her. He looked at her with an arched eyebrow.
"Why don't I go with Breakdown!? Du- Lord Megatron! Me and Breakdown can go, and I can keep him in check." She smiled as she bounced up and down, "And if anything happens, I can just call you!"
The warlord paused as he turned to her. He stared at her blankly, yet his optics were moving left to right. They never landed on her, they almost seem to be circling her. She picked up the datapad, holding it tightly against her. Finally his eyes landed on her. She beamed up at him, he stood up straight.
"Soundwave! Groundbridge Breakdown and Miko to the coordinates of the magnetic signature." He turned to Soundwave, who nodded and turned to his terminal. Miko whooped, jumping onto Megatron's palm. He patted her head as he turned to Breakdown. The blue mech was smiling, his shuffling had ceased as he pressed his palms together.
"If anything happens to Miko, I will take your other optic." Megatron growled as he placed Miko onto Breakdown's servo. She smiled up at Breakdown who grinned back down at her, but there was some fear in his optic.
"Yessir, I understand. Thank you Lord Megatron." He bowed, he placed the human on his shoulder. She smiled back at Megatron as Breakdown walked away. She lifted the datapad up, turning the camera on. She smiled as she pointed it at Megatron. He was standing sideways, his head turned towards her. The grey armour reflected the lights of the Bridge. The massive window framed the stars around him. She smiled as she took the photo, as they walked down the hall. She paused as she looked at it… He was smiling in the photo, he was smiling at her.
.
.
.
The Groundbridge dropped them in a rock desert. Miko looked around, she was standing on his shoulder, holding onto the shoulder armour as she looked around. The sky was shining down on them, she held her arm over her eyes as she looked around.
"Okay! We're looking for a big metal thing?" She turned to Breakdown. He was carrying a scanner, he chuckled as he shook his head. It had a map of the area.
"Er… Kinda, just keep a lookout for any Autobots." He scooped her up and set her down beside him, "I'm gonna assume ya can walk still." Chuckling he continued to walk, Miko ran behind him. She was wearing her usual gear, her boots reached almost to her knees and her one piece had her little robo' logo on it. She patted the top of the lil' green dudes head and continued to follow Breakdown.. She looked around some more. Jogging to keep with him, he looked down at her.
"So, er kid? I didn't get to say this before… But thanks for the save back in Russia." Breakdown, for such a big guy, had a really soft voice. He was soft spoken, odd compared to Knockout. Small equals loud and big equals quiet with those two.
"Oh! It's fine… Got a few bruised ribs as payment… While repaying something." Miko laughed at the irony. Breakdown nodded silently. He looked up, nodding to himself he lifted his head high. He scanned the area, before looking back at the device.
"What were you repaying exactly? How did you and the boss-man get together?" He gestured using the device. Miko stopped walking, he paused and turned to face her.
"Whatcha mean by that!? Dude! Me and Megatron aren't together! Ew! He's old enough to start my bloodline!" She shouted, her voice echoed around the rocks. Breakdown stared at her, so confused. Then his optic snapped open wide, "Oh my- No! No! Not what I meant! No!" He hopped to face her. She watched blue take over the orange in his cheeks, as he had a look of pure panic in his faceplate. She would have smiled if she wasn't in shock. They stood there, staring at each other.
"Get together means coupling to humans? I meant… How… You became… Like how you and… The Wrecker were," He stood straighter, holding the device a little too tight, "How did you and Megatron become friends! There, that's better!" He smiled at his correction. He seemed quite proud of the correction. She laughed as she held her head in her hands. She sat on a rock, catching her breath.
"Okay… Okay, hold on." She took a deep breath. He knelt down beside her, "I'm okay… I'm okay." She took a deep breath. Her cheeks hurt from smiling as he looked at her panicked. She tilted her head as she giggled.
"Remember when you guys attacked me and Optimus in that energon mine? Yeah, he took my phone and tracked me down…" Her words left her. She frowned as she remembered the rest. The wind in her back… The flight, she smiled at that though. The flight was fun. Breakdown moved back. She clenched her fists and stood.
"I was going to do something stupid… Really stupid, and he stopped me. So ya know, we've just been kind of hanging out." She stood, walking ahead. He paused, frowning as he took in the information. It was vague, he wondered if it was vague on purpose? He blinked as he realised she was almost a mile ahead.
"Hey! Kid! Calm down, I've got the scanner." He held it up, Miko turned as she walked backwards. She looked at him and a feeling of deja vu hit her. There were similarities between him and Bulkhead. The way they looked at her was the same.
She smiled, winking at him as she spoke, "I always take point!" She turned back and walked ahead. Breakdown huffed and followed behind. The walk wasn't long until he smirked.
"We're here." He was quick to move ahead of her. He stood beside a small mound of jutted out rocks. To Miko it was a steep hill, to him? A mere molehill. He put the datapad away, his hand transforming into a hammer. Miko took her chance, turning on the camera. She frowned, but then giggled as she found the video setting. Miko started to record him, smashing and digging into the Earth.
"You're doing great B.D!" She called, he looked back at her and smiled at the camera. The smashing continued for a minute or two, before he transformed his hand back and dug his hand in.
"Ah! Ha!" He pulled what looked like a hand brace out… A bear trap with a handle? The weirdest bracelet Miko had ever seen? She wasn't sure how to describe it. He switched it on, bright glowing yellow lines made up the rest. Indeed, with all the glowing parts now activated it was a gauntlet.
"Dude! That's so cool!" She turned off the camera. She ran to his side. Then the noise came. She stopped, frozen. Halfway from her original standing point, halfway to him, aka safety. They sounded like metal clicking against rock, a rhythmic pattern that she had been familiar with because of Megatron's habit to tap his claws against the terminal while working. Breakdown turned, his shoulder cannon coming out, charging up as he scanned around the area. Miko held her breath, she stood completely still. He looked back down at her.
"Kid. Come here." He ordered, he knelt down. Miko nodded and was quick to run. Her ears ached from the pounding of her heart, it was all she could hear. She couldn't even hear her footsteps, could barely make out her breath. Then something hit her arm, she cried out. She went spinning, her feet left the ground. Miko hissed out as she fell a distance from where she once was. She looked at her arm, it was pinned to the ground. By… What was that? A web? She groaned, it felt like the strings on her guitar. Yet it was oddly sticky. She grunted as she struggled against it. It was so hard, her hand felt stuck. She looked back at Breakdown, he stared at her with a wide optic. Her eyes wandered upwards as she saw what shot the web. The spider femme had six spider legs sticking out of her back, optics without pupils. They were this wicked pink with a honeycomb pattern scattered across them. She had two large black horn-like fixtures on the back of her head. She grinned, her lips were... Wait, Miko's eyes widened in confusion. She had lips!? They were this greyish purple, and looked oddly human. Miko shuddered as the femme eyed her with this venomous grin. She then looked down at Breakdown who stared at her wide-eyed.
"Aaah. Taking Megatron's pet for a walk?" She cooed. Miko's eyes widened. How did she know..? Wait! She wasn't Megatron's pet! Miko started to kick, struggling against the webbing. Breakdown growled as he gripped the relic tightly in his servo. Miko looked around, her datapad sat a few metres away from her, screen faced down. The femme laughed, Miko turned just in time to see Breakdown being struck right in the chin by her, and then kicked in the chest. He fell with a grunt of pain, the relic flying away from his grasp. The six legs on her back swiftly moved her. She didn't have normal legs, instead she had the backend of a spider too. Miko shuddered in disgust.
"For me? You shouldn't have~" The spiderbot purred. Breakdown scrambled up, he glanced at Miko but ran to the other. His hand transformed into his hammer.
Grabbing the relic, he pulled it away from her.
"I didn't!" He grunted, swinging the hammer from his side into the side of her head. Both lost grip of it, as Breakdown's body turned with the weight of the hammer, the relic flew from his hand. Landing just almost beside Miko. The spiderbot landed on the other side of Miko, she was quick to steady herself, the spider behind transformed. Unfolding to reveal other legs. She frowned as she lifted her arms up to a defensive position.
"I heard about a rogue 'Con. How about I hogtie ya and bring you back to Lord Megatron?" He waved his hammer back and forth, an inhuman or even incybertronian hiss left the spiderbot. She frowned.
"Please, I left that boys club a long time ago." She placed her hand on her hip, cocking her whole body to the side. Her head lazily turned to face Miko, she smirked, showing off her sharp fangs.
"Though that appears to have changed, hm?" She strolled over, nearing Miko. The human stared up at her, and for once, Miko screamed at the sight of one of the titans. She screamed in terror, a long arachnophobic fear swelled in her. The yellow and black spider… Jorō… A rogue neutral was something she hadn't even thought of. Didn't have Optimus as a moral compass and director, and didn't have Megatron as fear to remind her to keep in line. Miko struggled, her arm straining. It was screaming in pain as she fought and struggled. The arm trapped was on the one dislocated, it was already weak and sore from the healing, The useless fight did not help.
The spiderbot grinned as she bent down from the hips. She smiled down at Miko, her teeth showing. A dark green saliva dripped down from her top canine, it fell just beside Miko's foot. A large steam cloud came up, it made a black stain in the ground. Miko realised her spit was acidic, highly corrosive. She could feel tears prick at her eyes, she shook her head and looked back at Breakdown. He was still, staring at her and the spiderbot. One of her legs extended, reaching down to Miko. She went stiff, she was frozen with fear. The end of the spider leg was like a blade. It ran along Miko's cheek, threatening to slit the skin open. Her breath was shaky as she felt the cold metal against her skin.
"So… Your Megatron's new pet. I've heard much about you," She purred as she pulled the leg away, "Quite a pretty one… If…" The other spiderleg lifted up Miko's arm. She stared at the scarred flesh, so did Airachnid, "If a little damaged." She purred. She dropped the arm down. Miko pulled it tightly against her. She blinked back tears and looked away from the Spiderbot.
"Who-Wh-Who are you?" She blurted out. The spiderbot stood up straight, snickering as she shook her head.
"I am, my dear… Am Airachnid." She placed a servo on her chestplate. Miko watched as she extended the spiderlegs. Ready to strike. A scream escaped the human yet again. She struggled, kicking. The tears started to leak out, she was afraid. Breakdown roared as he charged, he lifted it high.
Yet Miko was blind to him, all she could see and hear was the Airachnid before her. Miko closed her eyes, ready to feel whatever pain was about to come to her.
"Megatron!" She called out. Even if calling him was a vain attempt, a part of her hoped somehow he'd come. He'd come to save her. The spiderbot hummed as she was ready to strike.
"I lost my chance to claim a human trophy before with the Autobots… But I think the pet of the Lord of Decepticons will do nicely." She smirked as the claws dove downward, down to the screaming, terrified and trapped girl. Miko could see her end as it was harpooned towards her. She did not breathe, she had no spare thought to take a breath. Everything felt like it was going slow-mo. Her hair was moving ever so gently, with the breeze. Her skin was warmed by the sun, the palms of her hands were sweaty yet dry from the dust of the desert that had stuck to the sweat. She looked to see Breakdown. He had this look of horror, fear. He was afraid… He wasn't going to make it in time, no way he was. She looked back at Airachnid, this horrid smirk had crossed her face. Miko closed her eyes, reading herself for her end. She wondered what would happen afterwards? Is there anything after death for humans? What would Breakdown do? Would he take the relic and leave her body? Or would he take back to Mega…. Megs… Shit. Megatron, what was he going to think? What was he going to do? Would he just forget her? Would he mourn her? Would he take his anger out on Bulkhead and the other Autobots? Would Bulkhead even realise she was dead…
… At Least she had made a friend before she died. She was going to miss Megatron.
