"I dont wanna go, Nya." Lloyd whined. "They throw the same celebration each year. Nothing ever comes from it."
"Come on, Lloyd. People are supporting us, you in particular, with one of the hardest battles we had. You should atleast attend. Even if it is for a short bit. Besides, you might make some new friends! That's what we're all hoping for! Wu is even hoping to meet a new elemental master there he could possibly set us up with training."
Lloyd sighed and said. "Fine. I'll go. Only for you though." He added. Nya threw her arms about Lloyd.
"Thank you, Lloyd." She smiled, her hug tightening. Lloyd hesitated before returning her hug, closing his eyes slightly, seeking comfort in his sister's warmth.
Nya pulled away and said. "I promise. You wont regret this. I'll, no. We all will make sure of it."
Lloyd stared into her blue eyes and smiled. "Just you guys being there will be one of the best parts of the whole event." He told her.
Nya wrapped an arm around Lloyd and said. "N'aw. You're too sweet to us!" She pulled back and said. "We should all get ready, remember, for all event, dress pretty."
Lloyd rolled his eyes. "I know." He laughed. "Maybe I should dress stupidly just for you."
"You should wear that hot pink suit. That'd look so cool." Nya suggested.
"Oh gosh no! Never again!" Lloyd laughed. "I refuse to wear that again!"
"Dang." Nya snapped her fingers. "Here I was hoping you'd wear it."
Lloyd grinned and said. "Na-da! No one will ever be able to convince me ever again. I'm pretty sure that video is still out there."
"It better be!" Kai shouted suddenly. "That took so much effort to record! I swear you were trying to kill me!"
Lloyd and Nya exchanged a glance before bursting out laughing.

"Stop fussing Lark." Misty sighed. "I know you're nervous, but seriously. The arrangement looks beautiful."
Lark smiled nervously. "Thank you. I'm a lot more nervous then I expected."
"I rather you be nervous then acting like Stone." Misty grimaced, pointing a finger at the werewolf, his tail curled tightly wrapped around his body.
"Y'all ever think about how during weddings we celebrate new life, but flowers playing a big part you are celebrating death as well." Stone stared ahead.
"Shut up, Stone!" Misty scoffed. "We dont want your shower thoughts!" The girl fixed her tie slightly and growled out. "Suits are hot."
"I know suits make you hot, but you dont have to say it." Stone piped up, seemingly back in earth.
"Aw. How flattering. Lark should of worn a suit too! Then we could all be matching."
Lark scoffed. "Ladies, I look fab in my dress. Dont judge."
"I should of worn a dress." Stone sighed. His ears lowering down. "Though I dont think my tail would like that." He added jokingly, immediately lighting back up.
Lark crossed her arms. "Should of, then we could of been dress buddies."
"Yeah, but werewolves in suits are pretty hot too." Misty laughed, throwing her arm over Stone's shoulder.
He rolled his eyes playfully with a grin. "Thanks, you're not too ugly yourself."
"See, Lark." Misty pointed a finger at Lark and then beckoned it towards Stone. "This boy knows how to compliment people."
"Ah. Sorry. The trash looks like nothing compared to you." Lark joked.
"Finally!" Misty exclaimed, throwing her arms in the air. "Some representation!"
Stone and Lark rolled their eyes to each other. No one even knew where this conversation was going.
--
"Everything looks so beautiful." Lark suddenly said, taking a few steps forward, her dress dragging across the floor slightly and her gloved arms hugging herself. The burgundy dress glittering in the bright lights that surrounded them. "I've never actually been apart of one of these things. I'm surprised I was accepted with my lack of being in these parties." She looked down at the floor before turning to look at her two best friends. "Thank you both for everything, you guys staying with me... it means so much."
Stone and Misty both smiled, they gaze gentle. "It's not a problem, Lark. You're our bestest friend. I'm just happy we managed to get everything set and rolling." Stone gently rested a hand on Lark's shoulder. "Till the end of the sun's journey, remember?"
Misty laughed and said. "Lark, we are all in this together and we'll never be separated. Dont get sentimental on us now." Misty held up her fist. "Till the end of the sun's journey."
Stone met her fist with his own first. The two looked to Lark and she met their fists. "Till the end of the sun's journey." She repeated. Her blue eyes holding a soft gleam in them. "We all promised."
Misty and Stone both nodded and Stone scoffed. "How could we forget?" His tail flicking slightly.
Lark grinned and pushed down on his head a bit. "Fight me, Nerd!"
"Cant run in heels, girly!" Stone declared to her, his head and tail held high.
Misty grinned and said. "She's gonna kill us." The two both looked to each other before Misty shouted. "Scram!"
Stone and Misty both suddenly bolted off, leaving Lark by herself. "You idiots!" She shouted exaggerated. She rolled her eyes and began to jog in the direction Stone went. She quickly jogged about, trying to see him. Seriously, where did he go?
"Stone? Misty?" She hissed out. "Soon the people will be arriving. Where are you guys?"
Even as the guests arrived Lark still couldnt find them and now it was crowded on top of that.
Lark frowned slightly and began to pick up table clothes to look for them.
"Excuse me, Miss?" An unfamiliar voice spoke up from behind her. The voice was smooth and steady.
Lark immediately jumped and lost her footing due to her heels. She fell to the ground quickly and let out a high-pitched "ow!"
"Oh my!" The voice reacted immediately, kneeling down next to her. "I'm so sorry, I didnt mean to hurt you. Are you alright?"
Lark looked up to the man who startled her and was surprised to meet the gaze of Lloyd Garmadon. "I'm alright." She squeaked out.
"Lark!" A voice shouted. When the two turned to look in the direction us came from it was Stone and Misty.
Stone suddenly leaped in front of Lark and growled at Lloyd, who jumped back and stared at the werewolf, dumbfounded. "Back off!" He snarled. His fur was bristling and his ears were pressed back against his head.
"Lark! Are you alright?" Misty asked gently, leaning down to help Lark.
"I'm alright." Lark reassured her friend. "I was just startled, Stone, please back off. He wasnt hurting me. He was making sure I was okay."
Stone growled at Lloyd once more before circling around Lark and Misty, growling at Lloyd occasionally.
Misty hoisted Lark back to her feet, which Lark stumbled forward Lloyd lurked forward and let her collapsed into his arms.
Stone snarled at the sudden touch Lloyd gave Lark, but still remained back.
"Thank you." Lark mumbled.
"Heh, no problem." Lloyd chuckled, letting Lark steady herself.
"I'm sorry about my friends." She laughed slightly.
"It's all good." Lloyd smiled, watching as Lark pushed off from Lloyd, keeping a hand on his chest to make sure she was in fact okay to let him go. "It's nice to see your friends care much about you." He added as he watched her carefully.
"Well, I'm Lark, this is Misty, and werewolf boy over here is Stone. Sorry if he gave you a scare, Stone, please apologized." Lark slowly retracted her hand and turned to look at Stone as she finished her sentence.
Stone grumbled lowly but looked over to Lloyd and sighed. "I'm sorry for overreacting. I really care for Lark and I just couldnt control my worry for her and I tend to overreact."
"I'm Lloyd, nice to meet you all." He smiled to them. "And apology accepted. I actually liked to see that. You're protective of her and ready to protect her no matter what. I've never seen a werewolf before." He added, scanning Stone carefully, acting as though he'd never see him again.
Stone lowered his ears slightly and said. "Heh, and you probably never will. I'm only half werewolf myself."
"Ah, apologies. Nonetheless I've never seen anyone with werewolf blood." Lloyd corrected himself.
Lark smiled warmly and asked Lloyd. "Was there something I could help you wish?"
"Not at all!" Lloyd responded warmly. I was going to ask if you needed help finding something."
"Oh! I found who I was looking for, or rather they found me." Lark smiled. "So I dont need any help, thank you for asking though."
Lloyd looked at the three and asked. "Are you all staying for the celebration? You're dressed like it."
Lark looked to her friends and then shrugged. "I have no idea." She admitted. "We didnt plan past the part of just setting up the flowers."
"You did an amazing job." He complimented. "To be honest, I didnt really want to be here." He explained to them. "Would you guys like to come for a walk with me?"
"Sure!" Misty smiled. "I dont see why not!"
Stone tilted his head and said. "I guess so."
Lark smiled and said. "That'd be nice." Her smile quickly vanished and asked. "Is it chilly outside?"
Lloyd shook his head slightly then looked at what she was wearing. Lloyd quickly removed his weskit and draped it over Lark's shoulder. "It's not that cold." He explained quickly when she opened her mouth to object. "You're just wearing a dress and I figured you might get chilly in it. It is a short sleeve dress afterall."
Lark blushed lightly, gently gripping the piece of garnet and whispered out. "Thank you you much. I appreciate it."
Lloyd smiled as he heard it. "Hey, you guys are helping me escape attending this boring event! It's least I could do! Now come on! Let's go for that walk."
