Now, Lark didnt expect to see a lot when she walked back inside the Monastery, but seeing two strange people was on the list she, in no certain terms, expected to see.

Nya was talking to them happily, telling them all sorts of things. Now... one of them was a very small women with bleach blonde hair and pale green eyes. Her skin tone was very pale and she had such a softness. Much like Nya, she too appeared to be expectant, though she was smaller. Obviously Nya was going to have her's, presumably, first.

The second person seemed much tougher compared to the gentle girl next to him. He looked much more beaten, even had a terrifying eye patch. He wore a hat that covered most his features, but Lark could make out his rust brown colour hair and his chocolate brown eyes.

"Are you okay." Lloyd breathed in Lark's ear as he placed the books down on the counter and leaned down.

Lark shakily nodded and pointed to the two new people. Lloyd wrapped am arm around Lark and said. "Hey, Ronin!"

The male turned to Lloyd and the two ladies quieted down. "Hello Lloyd. Seems like we both have introductions to make." He chuckled.

"Indeed we do." Lloyd laughed.

"I'm Lark." She managed to get out shyly before gripping the back of Lloyd's sweater. Ronin was just so intimidating... she... he reminded her of someone, but she couldnt remember who.

"I'm Irene, Ronin's wife." The pretty female smiled softly, leaning again Ronin slightly. He protectively wrapping an arm around her.

"It's nice to meet you, Irene." Lloyd smiled warmly. "And congratulations you two. I'm happy I get to say it in person rather then over online."

"Thank you." Ronin and Irene smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you and Lark." Irene smiled. "I look forward to hanging out with you guys more."

"It's nice to meet you too as well and I can't wait as well." Lark smiled.

Ronin simply dipped his head to Lark who nodded back rather than exchange words.

Nya turned back to Irene and Ronin and asked. "Do you guys have any names picked out?"

Ronin and Irene both shook their heads. "We havent put much thought into it, this is a lot harder than I expected." Irene admitted.

"Yeah. Same here. I didnt think this would be so tough, though fighting baddies is easier than this, I'm excited to have a little one! I have an amazing doctor who's been keeping an excellent eye on things." Nya laughed.

"Why dont you and Ronin talk a bit?" Lloyd reccomend to Lark who looked back at the pirate wannabe.

"I..." She trailed off and look at Lloyd. "I guess so." She let go of Lloyd and made her way to Ronin quietly and said shyly. "Hi."

"Hello." Was his response.

"Erm. How are you?" She asked. "Got any plans?"

"I'm well, and I dont have many plans, I just plan to be with Irene for now. But if something catches my interest I might work on something with the ninja, what about you?"

Man, they both felt so awkward. Nya and Irene were happily chatting in the back while Lloyd had left the room. Jerk.

"I'm... doing pretty okay. I just plan to hang out with Lloyd, Misty, and Stone once I see them." Lark answered.

The two fell silent. "Good talk." Ronin sighed, turning around to focus back in on Nya's and Irene's conversation.

"Good talk." Lark repeated before awkwardly walking away from him.

Well... maybe theyll hit it off one day. For now they both obviously were uncomfortable with one another.

Lark looked around the kitchen before sighing and going into The Living Room slopping down on the couch.

She rolled on her belly and then on her back. Then on her side. Then her other side. She was so bored. She stared up at the ceiling. Maybe she should try and find Lloyd.

Lark rolled over and pushed herself off the couch. She gazed around the building before walking down a hallway she's never been down before.

There were doors. Lark titled her head and looked at the symbols marked on the doors.

She knocked on one of them and heard nothing.

She frowned and continued down and looking at all the doors. She recognized one that Lloyd wore on his Ninja Gi.

She knocked on it and heard a "Come in."

She opened the door and spotted Lloyd sitting on his bed, putting a picture back on his nightstand. He looked up and laughed awkwardly.

"Sorry, I was just changing but the I saw the image and kinda loss track of what I was doing." He explained.

"No, it's fine." Lark smiled. "I didnt mean to interrupt." She apologized.

"Oh no, you're not interrupting anything." Lloyd waved his hand.

Lark smiled and said. "If you're certain." She walked over to Lloyd and he shifted over to let her sit next to him. She settled on his bed looked to him. "May I see the picture?" She asked.

Lloyd leaned over and grabbed the frame once more. He handed it to her and she gazed at it with a softness in her eyes.

"It's of you, your dad, and your mom." She said in awe.

"Yup." Lloyd laughed slightly.

"I have yet to meet your mom." Lark observed. "She seems nice."

Lloyd growled slightly, which was something that surprised Lark.

"I'm sorry?" Lark apologized.

"No, it's okay." Lloyd sighed. "Me and my mom are in a bit of a fight right now." He admitted. "So I rather you meet her when we sort it out."

"Okay. I understand." Lark smiles warmly. "It's not any rush. I was just thinking aloud."

Lloyd stared at the picture and his gaze fell. Ever since his father he felt a huge void in his heart and now that his Father has returned it has done nothing but grown. But seeing Lark looking at the image made it grow impossibly bigger. It was a feeling he wish he could throw away, but at the same time he wish he wouldn't. He just want his Dad back.

Lloyd flinched when he felt Lark hugging him. His gaze widen a little bit. But he accepted it and hugged her back, his grip tighter than hers as he tried to push back the hollow void even more.
