It's been an eventful past few weeks. Very eventful. Aliana, Nya and Jay's daughter has been everyone's top priority, well, her and Kodiak. Zane and Pixal were just ecstatic to have another baby to let Kodiak see. While Lark hasn't seen much of either babies, she's definitely heard stories.

Lark has met this woman named Zoe recently as well. She seemed to be quite... something. She was full of a lot of energy and seemed to get along with almost everyone she looked at.

"How's Mr. Grumpy doing?" Lloyd asked quietly, stirring his drink a bit with a small spoon.

"Clue? He's doing fine. Dealing with a lot of different relics currently, hence why I'm here and decided to leave him where he was..." Zoe paused for a minute, pushing her glasses up a bit. "It's not that great at the moment." She admitted. "He's really stressed right now and honestly I didn't want him to yell at me."

Clue? That was such a weird name. However, this was Ninjago. His name could be a lot worst, so Lark just passed over that, only finding it a bit odd, but hey, everyone in this world is a bit odd.

Lloyd just hummed in response. "So you're here to see Aliana and Kodiak?" He then asked.

"Yes and no." Zoe responded warmly. "Seeing them is a bonus, I'm actually here to give something to your mom." Lloyd scowled a bit but Zoe just rose an eyebrow. "Look man, I don't control who I give things to, I just do it. And get to stare at babies in the process." Her gaze blanked a little at them, seemingly gazing into some unknown future.

"Still haven't convinced him yet, eh?" Lloyd asked with an amused smile. Lark tilted her head. She almost felt invisible. Lark gazed down at her hands and then at Lloyd's. She slowly leaned over and slipped Lloyd's drink from his hand, to remind him she was here. While Lark began doing that, Zoe responded.

"Not quite. But I don't mind regardless. Kids are just a bonus. Clue's busy enough as is, plus he's got some unresolved trauma he really needs to go through." She added, but adding no more detail to it then that.

Lloyd moved one of his now free hands down around Lark and began to slide it up and down her back. "Fair enough. Besides, your relationship is still strong." He added. "Also give me back my drink, Song Bird." He said with a smiling, taking his tea back from her. "Mine."

"No fair!" Lark stuck out her tongue. Zoe just watched quietly, amusement sparkling in her eyes.

"That's cute." She said with a slight laugh.

Lark blushed a bit and Lloyd smirked before leaning down to kiss Lark on the lips. "We try." He purred. While he was distracted Lark plucked his drink back from his grip and took a sip from it, making direct eye contact with Lloyd as she did so.

Lloyd just chuckled. "Gosh I love you. I'll go get another drink, Zoe? Would you like anything?"

"Oh no thanks! I'm good." Zoe smiled.

Lloyd got up and left the dining room, leaving Zoe and Lark by themselves. A bit of awkward silence passed over them before Lark spoke up. "So is Clue your boss, significant other?" Curiousity bit the cat.

"Both." Zoe smiled. "Well sorta. He's not my direct boss but he is someone I work for, and we're also dating." She explained. "How long have you and Lloyd been together?"

"Not that long, we're still under a year." She explained. "I honestly don't remember which month we got together."

"That's so cute! Memories are honestly overrated." Zoe laughed. "He's a really great guy, and you're a great gal from what I know. When I visited Aliana, Lloyd talked up a storm about you. He really cares about you."

Lark blushed at that. "He did?"

"Oooooh yeah. He was really excited for us to meet." Zoe explained. "He was hoping Clutch would be here too to meet you, but as I said. He's busy."

"Clutch?" Lark repeated, a touch confused. "You never mentioned a Clutch?"

Zoe bursted out laughing at that, gasping for air. "Oh you sweet thing!" She giggled. "Clue is Clutch! He hates that nickname, but as his girlfriend I have a legal obligation to give him stupid nicknames."

"Honestly his real name isn't any better." Lark grinned half-heartedly.

"Oh he knows." Zoe laughed. "He hates his name almost as much as he hates being called 'Clue'."

Lark smiled at that. Zoe certainly was an interesting character. Lark raised her head up and looked over her shoulder at the sound of footsteps. Lloyd was returning, he was on the phone while his other hand was holding a new drink, for himself, granted, Lark was probably going to steal it just to bug him.

"Alright, cya, and good luck." Lloyd hung up and then looked at the two girls. "Irene is in labour." He explained. "I had asked Ronin to tell me when it was happening because I wanted to make her favourite treats for after she got out." There was obviously a story he knew, but neither Lark or Zoe were going to ask questions.

"I'll deliver this to Misako and then help out! Clutch has been trying to make me leave him alone anyway." Zoe offered. "Only if you want me." She added.

"Of course! I honestly have very little clue about how to bake, and I know you can be quite the baker." Lloyd smiled sheepishly.

"Hey now! You're not excluding me! I'm helping too!" Lark butted in, grabbing Lloyd's arm a bit.

"Alright Zoe, we'll meet you in the kitchen, I'm sure you'll be able to find Misako, on your own." Lloyd added with a low growl.

"I can take a hint! No Misako." Zoe smiled weakly. "Don't worry, I'll do my best to chase her into her room or something like that."

"Thanks, I appreciate it." Lloyd let out a sigh of relief. "Come on, Lark! Into the kitchen we go!" Lloyd chuckled. "Don't forget my, well, your, drink either!"
