This idea came to me while I was in bed. I thought it was cute so, here we are. This story is how Lorelai discovers coffee.
"Selly! Help me!" a young Lorelai Gilmore called through the Gilmore mansion.
"Yes Ms. Gilmore?" Gisela, the maid, said to a 3 ½ year old girl.
"I can't find my… Hey! What are you drinking?" Lorelai said.
"I'm drinking coffee, Ms. Gilmore."
"Can I smell it?"
The maid puts the cup up to her nose.
"Ohhhh that smells really good. What does coffee do for you?"
"It keeps you awake and gives you energy."
"OH, can I have some?"
"Right this way Ms. Gilmore."
She leads Lorelai to the kitchen, gets out a mug, and pours in some coffee.
"Sugar? Cream?"
"Sugar!"
The maid puts the sugar in, and hands the cup to Lorelai.
"Yum! I'm going to go drink it in my room!"
She runs up the stairs and runs into Emily.
"Lorelai Gilmore, what are you drinking?"
"Coffee! It is super good."
"You like coffee?"
"Yeah, it's the super best drink ever!"
"Well, she's fired."
