Eric heard a knock at the door, it was Callen.

'Hey Eric. I was wondering if you could look after Louie for a couple of days.' Callen said.

'You mean the dog you bought to work and incured Hetty's wrath? That dog, pooped in her office and she stepped in it! I've never heard any one shriek so loud in anger, it was scary.' Eric replied.

'Uh, yeah. She made her anger perfectly clear that day in her office when she told me to never bring him to work again. Look, I'm going away for a couple of days, and with this dog's owner still out of town, I'm really in a jam.'

'And am I really your 1st choice to take care of a dog? What about Kensi and Deeks?'

'They will also be away this weekend. Look, it's just for this weekend. I'm sure you can handle 2 days with a dog.' Callen said.

Eric could tell Callen wasn't going to leave him alone unless he said yes.

'Sigh. Okay, I'll look after Louie. Anything I should know?'

'Yeah. Don't try to give him a bath unless you like getting wet, and he tends to be gun-shy about doing his business in front of strangers, so when he needs to, please look away or stay inside until he's done.' Callen replied.

'Great.' Eric thought, unhappy.

The next 2 days were, surprisingly peaceful. Louie seemed to like Eric.

On Monday

'So, any problems?' Callen asked.

'Actually, very few. He was very well behaved.' Eric said, happy.

'Really? No having to chase him up the block? No waiting almost 2 hours for him to do his business? No having to buy him a certain kind of dog food because he's picky about his food?' Callen asked, dumbfounded.

'Well, I did have to buy him a certain kind of dog food. But everything else, was fine. Maybe I have a certain touch with dogs.'

'Don't flatter yourself Beale. Though now that I think of it, his owner loves computers, so you probably reminded him of him.' Callen said.

'Well, either way. Thanks for letting me take care of him. I'll gladly take care of any other pets you have.'

'Yeah uh, won't be needed, bye!'

When they left, Callen looked at Louie and said:

'So? You're nice to a computer geek but you treat me horribly and get me in trouble in my boss? What gives?!'

'Bark!' Louie woofed.
