"There you are, you scoundrel", chuckled Lavinia as Sirius's face appeared in the fire. As it was only the beginning of September, she'd had to pretend she needed a sleeping potion and lock herself in her laboratory, as Druella was still in residence at the estate.

"Whatever can be said about you, you do know how to stir up the hornet's nest. I didn't imagine I would ever enjoy myself that much in one of these dreadful shareholders meetings."

"So I scared them a little, didn't I ? "asked Sirius with a roguish smile.

"To say the least. I thought for a moment that Druella would choke to death with anger".

"Did you hope she would actually ?"

Lavinia pretended to give him a stern look, but chuckled again at the same time.

"I can't promise you to choke her, but if you tell me where the secret mine is, I can promise you she won't be around to bother you anymore".

"Will she go to Azkaban ?" asked Lavinia, her eyes suddenly ablaze with malevolence.

"If we find muggle slaves in the mine, as I'm sure we will, there is no doubt about that".

Lavinia nodded in approval. Then she added. "I hope it won't make much difference, given your new position at the head of the company, but I don't actually know where the mine is. They only named me Secret Keeper of the manager's house. A goblin by the name of Gormuck. It's the only one who knows how to open the door of the mine. But I suppose his place is not far from the entrance".

"One could suppose so", answered Sirius, frowning. He knew that this new piece of information would not please Hermione at all.

From the tip of Lavinia's wand, a map appeared suddenly, a bright spot on it marking the place of the goblin's house. "It's here", said the old woman. "Now go and find the proof we need to send my dear sister where she belongs".

Sirius knew it might not be that simple. The obstacles would be many, and the first of them would be to convince Hermione to let him do what needed to be done.

Sorry for the short chapter. I hope I will have time for a longer one soon.
