Author's note: Hey everyone! This chapter took a little longer than usual because, admittedly, I haven't been in the best of places recently and I needed to spend some time getting myself into order. I hope you all enjoy the latest chapter!

"Inquisitor?" said Ahsoka "What's an Inquisitor?"
"They're dark side agents who work for the Empire" said Luke "They helped Darth Vader hunt down and kill surviving Jedi after Order 66. And now they've come for us"
"Indeed" said the second cloaked figure. He pulled down his hood, revealing himself to be a male Mere with silver eyes, orange fur, and turquoise mottle skin. "It is a pleasure to finally meet you, Hero of Yavin. I am Afanc Scylla, Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire. I believe you're already acquainted with my partner Tuk'ata, whom I have to watch over due to her...lack of experience"
"Amusing!" scoffed Tuk'ata (the first cloaked figure). She lowered her hood, revealing herself to be a red Mikkian with blue eyes and a blue tattoo of the original Sith Empire's logo on her forehead. She peered over at Luke and smirked. "Hey Luke, I see you've got yourself a new partner. She won't get in the way, will she?"
"You two know each other?" said Ahsoka.
"Luke hasn't told you about me?" said Tuk'ata "And I thought we had something really special!"
"We crossed paths not long ago" said Luke.
"You had your rebel friends with you last time; but you won't get away this time, even if you now have another failed Jedi to back you up" Ahsoka felt cold dread as she heard this.
"You must be mistaken" said Ahsoka "I'm not—"
"Do you take us for fools?" said Scylla "Why do you act so naïve?"
"What are you talking about?" asked Ahsoka.
"Don't you recognise me, Ahsoka Tano?" said Scylla "If you've only recently awakened, it should not have been too long ago for you" As he uttered these words, Ahsoka felt a sense of both confusion and terror.
"I-I don't understand" said Ahsoka "We never met"
"What?" said Scylla "Do you mean you don't remember? Ah, I see; perhaps suspended animation is not free of…adverse side-effects. It will be interesting to find out what you do remember and what you don't" As he and Tuk'ata began moving in closer, Luke readied his lightsaber into an attack stance.
"Stay back!" said Luke "The Empire may have wiped out most of the Jedi, but you won't take down either of us without a fight!"
"Ha; if we were here to kill you, you'd be dead by now" said Scylla as he pointed his lightsaber towards them "No, you're coming with us alive"
"Freeze!" said a voice from behind Scylla. The large Mere turned around and found himself facing the rebel soldiers of Luke's half of the strike team. "Don't move or we'll shoot!"
"I assume that this is your cavalry" said Scylla.
"Let our commander go!" said one of the rebel soldiers.
"You want him…" said Scylla as he pointed his lightsaber towards the rebel soldiers "…come and claim him!" Seeing what was in front of him, Luke began to panic but tried to keep himself calm and composed.
"Get out of here!" said Luke "He's too powerful, let us handle it!"
"No; just this once, I'd like to see what the soldiers of the Alliance are capable of!" said Scylla. He pulled his cloak off (revealing that he was wearing a gray and black armor-like bodysuit) and, without warning, he turned his lightsaber around and activated a blade on the opposite end to the first one.
"Open fire!" exclaimed a rebel soldier as he and the other soldiers began shooting. In response to this, Scylla deflected various laser bolts with both blades of his lightsaber before throwing it at the soldiers and taking out a large portion of them in the process.
"No!" exclaimed Luke. As he rushed forward towards the remaining soldiers, Tuk'ata ripped her cloak off (revealing that she was wearing a black uniform-like bodysuit), zoomed in front of him (with both her lightsaber blades ignited), and struck at him. Acting quickly, Luke used his lightsaber to block her strike before it could reach him.
"Not so fast!" said Tuk'ata.
"Out of the way, Tuk'ata!" said Luke.
"If your soldiers are senseless enough to attack an Inquisitor, they deserve everything they get!" said Tuk'ata. As she drove him back, Ahsoka pointed her blaster towards the Mikkian and began shooting at her. Using her other blade to deflect the laser bolts that fired towards her, Tuk'ata became distracted which allowed Luke to drive her back. Realizing this, she extended both her hands out and force-blasted Luke, Ahsoka, and R2 to the very back of the corridor. Smirking sinisterly, Tuk'ata stepped forward to finish them off.
"Tuk'ata, deal with these soldiers!" barked Scylla as he deflected blaster bolts with his lightsaber "Leave the Jedi to me"
"I can handle this myself!" snarled Tuk'ata.
"Do as I say, or would you like Lord Vader to know of your insubordination on this mission?" said Scylla. A shocked expression befell Tuk'ata's face which turned into a frustrated one.
"Fine!" said Tuk'ata "Stand back!" Complying, Scylla stepped back and allowed Tuk'ata to rush forward and attack the rebel soldiers. As Luke pulled himself up and regained his senses, he caught notice of Tuk'ata fighting off the remaining soldiers. As the Mikkian Inquisitor force-choked a soldier before tossing him to the side, Luke rushed forward to stop her but was attacked by Scylla again.
"Be thankful I got her out of the way!" said Scylla "If I left her in charge of capturing you, she'd probably kill you by mistake!" As he drove Luke back, Ahsoka pulled herself back up and pointed her blaster at the large Mere.
"Ahsoka, R2; get behind me and keep your distance!" said Luke.
"You can't handle this alone, we have to work together" said Ahsoka.
"He's too powerful!" said Luke "Don't let him get near you!"
"Right!" said Ahsoka. As she and R2 began moving back, Scylla began striking heavy blows continuously which drove Luke back further down one of the hallways.
Meanwhile
A group of Multi Altitude Assault Transports flew over the battlefield and shot down a group of All Terrain Defense Pods. Suddenly, three of them were blasted without warning by an Imperial Mobile Heavy Cannon which marched over towards the rebel forces.
"General, a Mobile Heavy Cannon is descending onto your position" said the pilot of one of the MAAT gunships as they pulled back away from the tank walker "Watch out!"
"Understood" said Rur into his comlink "I'll make sure it's distracted"
"Roger that, general" said the MAAT pilot. Using the planet's uneven terrain to their advantage, the rebel army kept their distance from the Imperial forces by hiding behind hills and rocky outcrops as they advanced forward and focused their artillery on the nearest vehicles and infantry in order to gradually gain more ground. But as they began running out of obstructions to prevent the Imperials from getting a clear shot at them, a barrage of missiles blasted towards them and took out a group of rebel soldiers. Rur looked forward and saw a group of AT-MTs marching towards them.
"Hold and fire!" yelled Rur as the AT-TEs and AATs blasted their cannons and destroyed the AT-MTs in front of them "Now, focus your fire upon that tank walker! Keep it distracted to give the gunships an opening!" Suddenly, a dwarf spider droid leapt up onto his AAT and swiped at him. "Shoot!" He quickly ducked down into his tank and closed the top hatch.
"What is it?" asked the rebel soldier piloting the AAT.
"Dwarf spider droid, it snuck up on us" replied Rur as he reached for a repeating blaster and loaded it. As he burst out of the top hatch, he opened fire upon and destroyed one of the dwarf spider droid's legs before pushing it off of the AAT. As the droid rolled upside-down on the ground with its remaining legs flailing around like a flipped beetle, Rur opened fire upon it and finished it off. "Damn spider droids!"
"These droids are a real pain" said the AAT pilot.
"Consider their addition a compliment" said Rur "It means that we're becoming a challenge for them"
"General, look!" said the AAT pilot "TIE fighters incoming!" Rur pulled down his rangefinder, looked into it, and saw squadrons of TIE fighters swarm out of the Imperial base's hanger.
"Sithspit!" cursed Rur "Antilles, this is General Rur; we have TIE fighters incoming, think you can handle them?"
Meanwhile
"I see them" said Wedge into his X-Wing's comlink as he flew high above the battlefield with the rest of Rogue Squadron "Focus on the TIE fighters, men; keep them off of the ground forces"
"How much longer will Luke take?" asked Hobbie from the cockpit of his X-Wing.
"If I know Luke, it won't be too long" replied Wedge "Now buckle up, that's a lot of TIE fighters ahead of us!" They zoomed into the squadrons of TIE fighters and began engaging them in a dogfight. "C'mon, Luke; don't fail us"
Meanwhile
The hallway of the Imperial base was filled with the dead bodies of rebel soldiers. Only one soldier remained alive and he was badly wounded and missing a leg, which appeared to have been cut off by a lightsaber. As he crawled across the floor amidst the dead bodies, Tuk'ata walked up to him and placed his foot on top of his back to pin him down.
"No…no…please…" begged the rebel soldier "Mercy…"
"Really?" smirked Tuk'ata "Okay!" She raised her lightsaber and stabbed its blade into the rebel soldier's back to finish him off. "Now, onto more pressing matters" She walked down the hallway in front of her.
Meanwhile
Luke and Scylla duelled their way down the hallway of the base with Ahsoka and R2 keeping their distance behind the former, unable to move past either of them due to the red and blue blades that clashed together. Scylla showed superior strength and skills and Luke was only just able to hold his own against him.
"I never personally knew Master Kenobi, but I expected him to teach his last student much more before letting himself die by Lord Vader's hand!" smirked Scylla. As Luke's grip tensed and his focus began lessening, Scylla took advantage of this by striking him in the forehead with his lightsaber hilt and sending him back. As Luke regained his footing, Scylla struck forward again. Luke was only just able to block the attack, but the force of the impact was enough to send him back further. As they continued to duel, Ahsoka started to realise that they were reaching the end of the hallway which appeared to end with a door. Realising that they were running out of space, Ahsoka observed their surroundings and noticed a computer terminal next to the door.
"R2, see if you can get that door open" said Ahsoka. R2 beeped in response, rolled up over to the door, and inserted his scomp link into the computer terminal. "Luke, try to keep—" Before she could finish her sentence, she looked back at Luke fighting Scylla and became mesmerised by it. The more she observed Scylla fighting, the more she began remembering things, things that had long been buried within her memory. Images and sounds began rushing through her head to the point that she could not focus on anything else.
"We have you now!"
"Lord Vader will be most please when we present you to him!"
"I'm no Jedi anymore!"
"Doesn't matter!"
As she stood in the middle of the hallway in an almost catatonic way, Luke caught notice of her. Acting quickly, he disengaged his lightsaber with Scylla and grabbed Ahsoka by the arm.
"C'mon!" exclaimed Luke. He pulled her through the door that R2 had opened for them. "Close it, R2!" R2 beeped in response whilst connecting his scomp link into the computer terminal on their side of the door. As Scylla lunged forward with his double-bladed lightsaber, the door closed over. "That was close. Ahsoka, are you alright?" Ahsoka was still in a state of shock after what she had just remembered and did not respond. "Ahsoka? Ahsoka?!" Ahsoka snapped out of her thoughts and turned her attention towards Luke. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, sorry about that" replied Ahsoka "I just…got distracted"
"We better get moving" said Luke "It's a blast door so it should take him a little while to get through, but it won't hold him off forever. Let's go!" He, Ahsoka, and R2 rushed off down the hallway.
"What's next?" asked Ahsoka.
"We should find the rest of our team and get out of here while we can" replied Luke "It looks like this whole operation was a trap and we fell right into it" As he looked over at Ahsoka, he noticed that she still seemed shocked and worried. "What happened back there? Why were you distracted?"
"Luke, do you remember how that Inquisitor said he knew who I was and that we met before?" said Ahsoka "I remember him now, I think he was the one who trapped me in that pod"
"Are you sure of this?" asked Luke.
"I can't remember the exact details, but I know he was there and I know that he attacked me" replied Ahsoka "And I think…I think Darth Vader sent him"
"Vader?" said Luke "No doubt he's behind this as well. Is there anything else you can remember?"
"Let's talk about it later" replied Ahsoka "Right now we have to find the others and get out of here"
"You're not going anywhere" said a voice in front of them. Luke, Ahsoka, and R2 stopped in their tracks as they heard this. Standing at the end of the hallway in front of them was Tuk'ata with her lightsaber drawn and both blades ignited. "At least, not without our escort!"
"What does Vader want with us, Tuk'ata?" asked Luke as he positioned his lightsaber into a defensive form.
"We can share details along the way" replied Tuk'ata "Come quietly, Little Jedi, no one else needs to die; not like those rebels, who I finished off very easily" Luke's grip upon his lightsaber began tightening. "I would have been sooner; but considering how weak they were, I decided to take my time with them to make things...interesting! I was nice and slow!" She licked her lips sadistically.
"You'll regret that!" said Luke.
"Angry?" said Tuk'ata "Good, maybe then you'll be a challenge" Using the Force, she sprinted over to Luke in the blink of an eye; her sprint was so fast that she created a sonic boom. As she struck forward with her blade, Luke only just managed to block her attack with his lightsaber and hold her back. "I've been looking forward to this!" Using her force speed to drive herself forward, she drove Luke back down the hallway before striking forward over and over again with both blades of her lightsaber.
"She's absolutely insane!" said Ahsoka as she and R2 kept their distance behind Luke. Tuk'ata drove Luke further and further back down the hallway until they reached the base's hanger, where TIE pilots scrambled into their TIE fighters and flew off to the battlefield; however, the urgency of their orders mixed with the intensity of the alarm prevented them from noticing the duel that entered their hanger.
"For so long, I dreamed of destroying a powerful Jedi and cementing my place as the greatest Inquisitor; and yet, I get stuck with you!" said Tuk'ata "It is a real shame; at this rate, it seems I'll never get to face off against a true Jedi Knight, only weaklings like you!" Suddenly, she lashed out with her foot and kicked Luke in the stomach which sent him back. As Luke steadied himself, Tuk'ata lashed forward again and he was only just able to block her attack. Seeing this, Ahsoka gasped under her breath and gritted her teeth. As she aimed her blaster towards Tuk'ata, R2 beeped at her.
"I may not have a lightsaber, but I can't just stand by!" said Ahsoka. R2 beeped at her again which caused her to sigh and lower her blaster. "You're right, you're right; I won't be of any help to him if I get myself killed" As she began thinking of what she could do to help Luke, she examined the area around her and came across something that caught her interest: a blaster turret that was stationed not far from her. "Now that's interesting!" She made her way over to the turret and examined the controls cautiously. As she grabbed a hold of the trigger and aimed the turret's barrel at Tuk'ata, R2 beeped curiously. "I won't be able to get a direct shot at her, her reflexes are too good; but if I can catch her off guard, it might just be enough throw off her concentration" R2 beeped in response. "Exactly, but let's wait until there's enough space between her and Luke. Steady...Steady..." As she aimed the turret towards Tuk'ata, the Mikkian Inquisitor (using her force speed) drove Luke back into the wall and pinned him against it with her lightsaber blade at his throat.
"No one can save you this time, Skywalker!" smirked Tuk'ata "It's over!"
"No…it's not!" said Luke. Mustering up all of his strength, he pushed himself forward and drove Tuk'ata back.
"Nice work, you finally drove me back!" taunted Tuk'ata.
"You'll find I'm full of surprises" said Luke.
"Indeed" said Tuk'ata "But…so am I!" Without warning, she turned around and began sprinting away. At first, she appeared to be retreating; but then Luke realised who she was running towards: Ahsoka and R2 who were still stationed at the turret. Seeing what was coming, Ahsoka attempted to pull the turret's trigger; but before she could, Tuk'ata had reached her and force-pushed the turret aside. Reacting quickly, Ahsoka turned her blaster towards the Inquisitor only for it to be sliced in half by a red blade.
"Is that the best you've got?" smirked Tuk'ata as she pointed her blade at Ahsoka "I was expecting much more of a challenge from you, more so than Skywalker!"
"Let her go, Tuk'ata!" said Luke as he sprinted up to them.
"Relax, I'm not going to kill her or anything" said Tuk'ata "Although; if either of you misbehave again, I might just hack off one of her limbs to make a point" With herself at the mercy of Tuk'ata and Luke unable to help without risking her life; Ahsoka began realising that the longer she held back, the more trouble she would bring herself and others into. Like it or not, she was once a Jedi and had proper training with the Force which was something very few had now. Now that she had entered another galactic conflict, she would have to accept that part of her life if she was to protect herself and those around her. Closing her eyes, she opened herself up to the Force and felt everything and everyone around her. She felt the Force flowing through her and began concentrating intently. As she focused herself on what she needed to do next, Tuk'ata caught notice of her. "What are you doing?" Suddenly, Ahsoka extended her hand forward and force-pushed Tuk'ata away. As the Mikkian Inquisitor was sent backwards and landed on her feet, Luke looked over at Ahsoka who was breathing heavily and appeared to be in some kind of shock. This seemed unusual to Luke as he had previously seen Ahsoka use the Force against enemies without issue; but this appeared to have provoked something within her, something that was emotionally taxing. As Tuk'ata steadied herself and lifted herself up, Luke pointed his lightsaber at her. "You…You said you weren't a Jedi anymore!"
"Maybe not, but I can still fight like one if I have to" said Ahsoka as she got herself up and began circling her with Luke.
"It's over, Tuk'ata" said Luke as he pointed his lightsaber at Tuk'ata. Suddenly, Tuk'ata leapt up into the air and landed on top of a docked TIE fighter above them.
"Do you want to know something?" said Tuk'ata "I wanted to savour this battle and have some fun, something I can never do with Scylla breathing down my neck; but it seems I got careless and underestimated you"
"Really?" said Ahsoka "Because it looks to me like you're all bark and no bite"
"If you want to see what I'm capable of, then I'll show you!" smirked Tuk'ata. With a slash of her lightsaber blades, she cut off the restraints holding up the TIE fighter and grabbed onto the railing above her as the fighter dropped down.
"Watch out!" exclaimed Ahsoka. She grabbed Luke by the wrist and pulled him out of the way moments before the TIE fighter crashed where they had been standing. Grinning maliciously down at the crash site below, Tuk'ata let go of the railing and landed right in front of Luke and Ahsoka. In the blink of an eye, the Inquisitor dashed up to Luke and locked blades with him again. Catching notice of this, Ahsoka extended her hand out to force-push Tuk'ata away again; however, the Inquisitor caught notice of this and began force-choking her.
"No!" exclaimed Luke. Seizing the opportunity, Tuk'ata pushed forward and sent Luke back.
"And I thought you would have learned by now!" said Tuk'ata. She then began wildly slashing away at his blade repeatedly which sent Luke further and further bacl until they reached the edge of the hanger bay, which overlooked an arid desert plain with a small river trailing off into the horizon. In a taunting manner, Tuk'ata grinned maliciously and began driving her lightsaber forward. "One more step and you fall to your death!"
"You wouldn't dare, you're supposed to bring us back alive!" said Luke.
"Of course; but it's an entertaining thought, isn't it?" said Tuk'ata "Although you could just jump off now and end it all; if you really are indoctrinated into those Jedi beliefs, you probably would consider that a preferrable fate to what may be in store for you!" As she continued taunting, Luke looked over her shoulder to see Ahsoka walking up behind her. The Togruta stopped in her steps, extended out her hand, and nodded at Luke who smirked in response, which caught the attention of Tuk'ata. "What is it?!"
"I thought you would have learned by now!" smirked Luke. Before Tuk'ata could react to this, Ahsoka force-pulled her back and threw her into a stack of crates. The abrupt jolt of this caused Luke to lose balance and lean over the ledge precariously. But before he could fall off, Ahsoka extended her hand out again and held him in place using the Force. "Wow…thanks!"
"No problem!" said Ahsoka as she walked over to Luke and pulled him back to the ledge "Okay; I'll admit, I may not be as out of touch as I made it out to be" At that moment, R2 rolled up to them and beeped to get their attention.
"You're right, that won't hold her down for long" said Luke "We should find the others and get out of here, they need to know this was a trap" As they turned to exit the hanger, they found themselves facing Afanc Scylla. The Mere Inquisitor had his lightsaber ignited and looked ready to strike them down.
"Closing the blast doors on me was a clever move, but it only delayed the inevitable" said Scylla. He looked over at Tuk'ata (who appeared to be lifting herself up from the crates she had landed in) and smirked in a patronizing manner. "I see you kept them busy, Tuk'ata; I'm glad you prevented them from escaping for as long as you did" Tuk'ata frowned as she got herself back up and reignited her lightsaber. As Luke formed a defensive position with his lightsaber, Scylla pointed his lightsaber towards him. "Don't be foolish; you're still exhausted from the previous fights with the two of us, I can sense it. If you engage us directly again, you will fall. If you have any integrity, you would surrender"
"You can't have integrity if you follow the dark side" said Luke.
"Well, to each his own" said Scylla "I was merely being generous" Ahsoka was about to step back, but then she remembered that they were at the edge of the hanger and stopped. As she looked down at the river below her, she thought of an idea. As she leaned over and whispered something to R2, the astromech droid beeped in response.
"Luke, I think I found a way out of here" said Ahsoka quietly "Do you trust me?"
"Of course" said Luke quietly.
"Good" said Ahsoka quietly. Abruptly, Ahsoka grabbed Luke by the arm and leapt off of the ledge with him.
"Wait, wait, WAAAIT!" exclaimed Luke.
"R2!" yelled Ahsoka as they began falling. R2 beeped in response before rolling off of the ledge after them.
"No!" snarled Scylla. In response, Tuk'ata rushed up to the ledge and extended her hand down towards Luke and Ahsoka.
"I've got them!" smirked Tuk'ata. As she was about to reach out with the Force and grab them, Scylla grabbed her by the shoulder and pulled her back. As Ahsoka and Luke accelerated towards the ground, they moved over to R2 who was falling alongside them.
"Grab on tight!" said Ahsoka as she and Luke grabbed onto the astromech droid's sides "R2, now!" R2 beeped in response and activated his rocket boosters, which allowed them to slow down their fall just enough before crashing into the river below.
"Why did you stop me!?" snapped Tuk'ata "I could have caught them!"
"If you're not careful, a sudden jolt could kill both of them before they even hit the ground" said Scylla.
"And yet you allow them to fall like that!" snapped Tuk'ata.
"Tano may still be young thanks to the stasis, but she was a Jedi commander in the Clone Wars and witnessed combat and strategy first hand" said Scylla "She used that astromech droid to slow their fall, it was part of her plan to escape"
"But now they'll be swept away by the river" said Tuk'ata.
"And that mistake has made her entire escape pointless!" said Scylla. He began undoing the armor from his bodysuit. "Get to your TIE and patrol the area, prevent any rebel forces from reaching the river"
"And what will you do?" asked Tuk'ata.
"Go for a swim!" replied Scylla as he undid the rest of his bodysuit. Wearing only a black pair of swim shorts, he leapt off of the ledge and dived into the river below.
Meanwhile aboard the Redemption
"Follow the light" said 2-1B as he shone a medical torch into a rebel soldier's right eye "Good, now the other"
"Is this really necessary?" asked the rebel soldier.
"Your battle was long and hard-fought; it is my programming to check up on you regularly to make sure that you are healthy" replied 2-1B.
"I'm fine, just a little bruised" said the rebel soldier.
"That is for me to decide based on my diagnosis" said 2-1B. The surgical suite of the Redemption was filled with rebel soldiers who were still recovering from their injuries at the Battle of Mygeeto, with some being treated to medically. At the door to the suite, Han stood with his arms crossed and his back against the wall with Chewbacca alongside him.
"This is the part of battles they don't talk about, the bloody aftermath" said Han with a sigh. Chewbacca growled in response. "Yeah, could've been worse; then again, you can say that about a lot of things"
"They'll live to fight another day" said Mon Mothma as she entered "Our medical staff and facilities are top notch and everyone should recover in good time" Han looked over at FX-7, who appeared to be monitoring a group of rebel soldiers who were healing within bacta tanks. "You seem oddly pessimistic"
"Pessimistic?" said Han "Nah, just fatigued. Last few months haven't exactly been…quiet. At this rate, it just seems like this war's never going to end"
"We're doing everything we can" said Mon Mothma "But true change takes time"
"It could go a little faster though" said Han. At that moment, the ship's intercom sparked to life.
"Attention everyone, this is Captain Juno Eclipse of the starship Redemption" said the intercom voice "We are detecting multiple ships coming out of hyperspace around us. All crew, get to your stations and prepare for an attack"
"Ships?" said Han. Chewbacca growled in response as he and Han rushed over to the surgical suite window and watched on as multiple ships emerged from hyperspace. First came of group of Acclamator-class assault ships and Broadside-class corvettes; and before long, an entire armada had appeared before them being headed by the Imperial star destroyer Accuser.
Meanwhile aboard the Accuser
As Captain Piett overlooked the Redemption and the surrounding rebel ships from the bridge of his star destroyer, an Imperial officer walked up to him in a proficient manner.
"Captain, we have caught the rebels by surprise and are ready to attack on your orders" said the Imperial officer.
"Surround the Redemption and prevent it from escaping, but do not destroy it and avoiding damaging it severely" said Piett "We must give the bounty hunter time to do his job…however questionable it may be. Begin the attack"
"At once, captain" said the Imperial officer.
Author's note: Just so everyone knows; Tuk'ata is meant to be overconfident, hot-headed, and desperate to prove herself (especially to Darth Vader), which often leads to her biting off more than she can chew. She's powerful and skilled but is unfocused and doesn't take full advantage of her strengths and skills because of this. Afanc Scylla on the other hand is the more skilled and focused of the two (which makes him the harder threat to defeat), but he is also very prideful and often views Tuk'ata as more of a detriment than an asset which often leads to underestimating her potential. This is what I was going for with their personalities and I hope I accomplished it well. Let me know what you think.
Hellman76: I'll see if I can get my hands on the X-Wing series. There's a lot of Star Wars books and book series that I hope to read someday but I need to find time to get around to it.
scottusa1: Thank you, I hope Luke and Ahsoka's fight with the Inquisitors delivered.
TheAmazingAuthoress: Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad that you're enjoying the story so far. I actually read through the entire Dark Horse Republic series before I started writing this series so I may have picked up one or two writing elements from them. For my series, I was hoping to portray Vader as a key player due to his importance and big role in the franchise but I also wanted to only show him onscreen when he was required to in order to give him the mystique and unstoppable nature akin to Rogue One or the end of Jedi: Fallen Order. Don't worry, I really appreciate long reviews.
Martin: Thank you for the feedback. I'll try not to spoil too much, but you're not far off the mark ;)
CT567Rules: I hope my battle with the Inquisitors delivered. As for fighter jets, I'll let you know if I have an aerial Autobot or Decepticon character in mind but can't think of an alternate mode for them.
