They heroes attempt to use their superior numbers to overwhelm the evil Power Rangers. Chop Shop uses circular saws made from his shoulder wheels, while Jake uses axe hands to attack the evil Red Ranger, who fights with a clock hand sword. Red Ranger and Gold Ranger use melee and ranged attacks to confuse the evil Black Ranger, but it uses a blaster and a blade, both dinosaur-like with visible scales in retaliation. The remaining four Rangers attack the evil White Ranger, but it slinks away at every attack before slashing all four at once with its tiger claws. "Agh!" the Rangers screamed in pain.
The evil White Ranger zips past the four Rangers to aid the evil Black Ranger. It leaps at Gold Ranger from behind, which Red Ranger notices. "Aiyon, look out!" Red Ranger yelled. With both Rangers distracted, the two evil Rangers attack them at both sides, which they narrowly block with their weapons before being thrown aside from the resulting explosion. "These guys are tough." Gold Ranger said. "Then let's bring out the big guns. Blazing Dino Key, ready!" Red Ranger added as he holds up an orange Dino Key. He inserts it into his Chromafury Saber's dinosaur mouth, pulls on the jaw lever three times, and orange Dimetrodon-based armour ignites onto his body.
"Blazing Battle Armour!" he exclaimed. "Electro Dino Key, ready!" Gold Ranger said as he holds up a yellow Dino Key. He inserts the key into his Mosa Blaster's key port and pumps the barrel before firing at the evil Rangers. A surge of electricity strikes them before coming back to Gold Ranger, forming into Spinosaur-based armour. "Woah… sweet…" Chop Shop and Jake said in awe before being slashed by the evil Red Ranger.
Red and Gold Ranger charge at the evil Black and White Rangers, their weapons charged with their respective elements. The evil Black Ranger fires at them, but the shots are cut down by a fiery swing of Red Ranger's sword, and the evil White Ranger once again pounces towards them, only to be shocked by an electrical blast by Gold Ranger. The blast knocks back the evil Rangers and the two good Rangers stand before them. "Let's finish this!" Red Ranger said as Gold Ranger attaches a golden serrated bayonet to his blaster. "Blazing Fury Blast!" "Electro Fury Blade Blast!" the two Rangers screamed before whipping the evil Rangers with an ignite blade and firing an electrical orb at them, destroying the evil Rangers in a great explosion.
Meanwhile, Chop Shop and Jake continue to fight the evil Red Ranger, using Jake's stretching ability to produce multiple axe blades to swing at it. Chop Shop throws his sawblades at the evil Ranger, knocking it into a tree. "Go easy on the guy, Finn." Jake advised. The wheel on Chop Shop's back disengages and moves down to his legs as it transforms into a uni-wheel function. He produces his Night Sword and accelerates towards the evil Red Ranger as it gets up. It tries to run away, but is no match for Chop Shop's speed as he drives by and slashes it along its chest, destroying it.
After the battle is done, Red Ranger notices someone where the evil Black and White Rangers stood. He and Gold Ranger run over to find a young boy and a slightly older girl in their place, lying unconscious. "These are normal people." Gold Ranger commented. "Wait, Finn said something about someone attacking him, then Izzy found a figurine Finn said looked like his attacker where we found him." Red Ranger said as he reaches for the boy's hand. He lifts his hand to find a figurine resembling the evil Black Ranger.
"She's got one too." Gold Ranger said as he finds another figurine in the girl's hand. Finn dismounts from Chop Shop and walks to the evil Red Ranger's host; an old man in swimming briefs, to find a corresponding figurine near him. Jake approaches the four other injured Rangers and helps them up. "Did we win?" Black Ranger asked. "Looks like it." Jake answered.
They all gather and present their findings. "Look what we found. More figurines just like the one Izzy found." Red Ranger said. "And we found them on people who were apparently these evil Rangers." Finn added. "Where did these civilians even find them, and why use them to attack us?" Gold Ranger wondered. "Ahoy!" a voice screamed.
They turn around to the source, only to be blasted by cannonballs, the figurines thrown out of their hands. They get up and see a tall alien walking towards them, wearing red armour made from crossing straps, golden plating, a white fur boa, and a black pirate hat. It's accompanied by a human-sized alien snow macaque, with a red face and wearing baggy blue pants. "Who are you?" Red Ranger asked him. "Name's Silas Racha. I'm what most people call a pirate or a treasure hunter, and they'd be correct." the alien spoke with a pirate accent.
"What's a space pirate doing here?" Blue Ranger wondered as the monkey crawls over to pick up the three figurines. "I'm glad you asked! I'm here to make an army with the help of these Psycho Keys." Silas said as the monkey hands him the figurines. "Thanks a bunch, Sally." Silas thanked the monkey. "Psycho Keys?" Pink Ranger questioned. "Yes, Psycho Keys! Using this Psycho Horn here, I can create Psycho Rangers based on past Rangers. For example; those three were Psycho Time Force Red, Psycho Dino Charge Black, and Psycho Wild Force White." Silas explained as he holds up a trumpet.
"Psycho Rangers? Like the ones the Space Rangers fought!" Pink Ranger said. "You know your history. Well, I believe it's about time for us to go, gotta make an army." Silas commented. "You're not getting away that easy!" Gold Ranger said as he takes aim, only for more cannonballs to fire at them, knocking them out of their Ranger forms. "It's been a blast talking to you!" Silas laughs as he escapes with Sally. The Rangers get up to find the pirate gone.
"Let's get back to base and think of a plan." Finn suggested. They teleport back to Dinohenge and meet back with Solon. "Rangers, are you all okay?" Solon asked. "We're okay, Solon." Ollie said. "We were doing pretty good, but those cannonballs came outta nowhere." Finn added.
"That pirate, Silas, he's behind these evil Rangers. They're called Psycho Rangers, and he's using them for an army." Javi said. "I've done an analysis on the key you gave me. It's just like the ones the Super Mega Rangers use, and corresponds to the Grid Battleforce Red powers." Solon explained as she presents them the Psycho Grid Battleforce Red key. "Super Mega? What kinda name is that?" Finn said. "Sounds like whoever was in charge of names phoned it in." Jake added. "There's actually more to this. Here, look at this." Solon said as she directs them to the console.
She shows them two identical energy readouts put side-by-side. "The one on the left is the original Grid Battleforce Red Morphin Energy readout, taken from the database. The left is from this Psycho Ranger Key." Solon presented. "They're the same." Jake said. "That's not good." Aiyon said in concern. "Is it gonna involve some complicated quantum mechanics biz?" Finn asked.
"Rangers from every team have different energy signatures. You can't have the same colour Ranger on the same team, unless there are slight power changes." Ollie explained. "In other words, as long as this Psycho Ranger Key exists, the Grid Battleforce power set is unstable." Zayto elborated. Aiyon takes the Psycho Grid Battleforce Red Key, tosses it in the air, and blasts it with his Mosa Blaster. "There, balance restored. B.M. Red can thank me whenever." Aiyon said confidently. "As long Silas is around, he's gonna make more." Zayto said when an alert sounds on the console.
"Is it trouble?" Finn asked. Solon brings up news footage of more Psycho Rangers rampaging downtown. "This is J-Borg coming to you live downtown! It looks like an army of evil Power Rangers has invaded-" an orange-haired gynoid reports before a musical soundwave hits her, morphing her into Psycho Overdrive Red, a creature that appears to be made out of melted and scrapped dump truck parts. She snarls and attacks the camera, ending the stream. "J-Borg!" Amelia exclaimed in concern.
"Looks like it's back to the daily grind." Jake said. They teleport downtown, already morphed and transformed, and face the Psycho Rangers in town, who are all staring right at them. "Stand your ground, everyone." Red Ranger advised. The Psycho Rangers scramble towards the heroes, pulling out all sorts of weapons from nowhere. Chop Shop and Jake are jumped by Psycho Quantum Ranger, armed with a T. Rex-shaped blaster.
Red Ranger is taken away by a Psycho Mystic Pink flying on a wooden hoverbike. "Zayto, no!" Gold Ranger screamed. As the remaining five Rangers try to recover Red Ranger, they are attacked by the entire team of Psycho Lightspeed Rescue. They clash swords with the Psycho Rangers, while Gold Ranger fires an electric blast at Psycho Titanium Ranger, who uses its axe to absorb the blast and redirect it in blaster mode, knocking Gold Ranger off his feet. Chop Shop and Jake fight Psycho Quantum Ranger and manage to overpower it, and manage to revert it back to a policeman.
Just when they get their footing, they are attacked by Psycho Overdrive Red, armed with a clawed pike. "How many of these things are there?!" Jake screamed as Chop Shop tosses him the Night Sword to swing at it. Watching the chaos from atop a building is Silas and Sally, who is on break eating bananas. "Look at them, Sally. They're beauts, if I do say so myself. I can't believe I wasted my time with that old Ranger Horn, when I could've used this Psycho Horn instead!" Silas said as he holds up his trumpet. He places the Psycho Horn's mouthpiece on his beak and plays a nautical tune.
The soundwaves travel throughout the city, morphing even more people into Psycho Rangers. Zipping through the city, Psycho Mystic Pink carries Red Ranger by his collar to scrape him past skyscraper walls. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" Zayto groaned in pain. Thinking fast, he drives his sword into the hoverbike's engine, causing it to fly out of control. Psycho Mystic Pink lets go of him before it crashes into a wall.
When Red Ranger lands on the pavement, he catches Psycho Mystic Pink's host: an elderly fortune teller. Another wave of newly-created Psycho Rangers rush towards him, including the rest of the Psycho Mystic Force team. He runs away from the Psycho Rangers to get the woman to safety, eventually running into a street where even more Psycho Rangers are attacking people. He rushes through the Psycho Rangers, slashing as many as he can to get the woman to safety. Just when he thought he was in the clear, a bulked-up Psycho Mystic Green ambushes him.
Red Ranger was about to use a Dino Key when sawblades fly towards Psycho Mystic Green, destroying it and freeing the bodybuilder host. Red Ranger find the rest of his team with Chop Shop and Jake running to him. "Zayto, you're okay!" Chop Shop said. "Thanks to you, Finn. "We've got a lot of work ahead of us." Jake said, looking at the incoming army.
In a dimly-lit, high-tech base, a man wearing a grey military uniform with a "GB" badge sits on a high-tech command chair. He watches footage of Chop Shop and Jake fighting Psycho Grid Battleforce Red, his face obscured by the darkness. "Looks like they might need some help." the commander said. He types on a chair-side keyboard, bringing up a white logo of crossed cutlasses and an alien skull on the screen. "Can someone get Ben and Betty to fix these lights?" he called out.
