A/N: Hey, guys. I'm back from getting my milk.

Anyways, about what I've been up to these past years: I've been busy playing Genshin Impact and doing bodybuilding with my brother and his friend. I went to college on a scholarship that overpaid my classes by 2x the amount, which gave me a lot of money; and then dropped out 'cause I was like (wth is the point of all this?). The career I was going into was coding, I was a full-time student with 5 classes a week; each being 1-2 hours long. And to say the least, it was the most stressful and depressing point of my life. Education is just not for me, haaaaahaaaaaaaaaa... doesn't help the fact that I had less than a WEEK to code PROGRAMS. EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK.

Btw, Programming Logic is the worst class ever! This is why deadlines shouldn't exist. Who the hell learns properly from having deadlines? I mean, I know it's essential to companies and whatnot, but at least they know how to do it. So I went from coding to wanting to learn how to play a piano, which I'll be getting this week (11/28/2021 the date as I'm writing this).

Also, I've been investing into crypto, and my roommate has a friend who made over a million dollars from stocks.

Guess what he spends it on?

That's right, what all college students do...

PARTYING!

$10k spent on a party btw.

From what I've witnessed from watching college parties from our balcony... don't attend college parties. Your health will go BOOOOM, and don't drink. Especially if you're female and going to these parties.

Also, every time a party was held here, cops showed up. They monitored the place 24/7 so every Friday night there would be drunk students running to the safety of their rooms (underage ones).

And I got LASIK! Perfect 20/20 vision, but $2,200 per eye. Definitely worth it.

Story time aside, let's get this chapter started. I haven't watched FT and written in years so I'll be rusty. And I'm glad that you guys found this story interesting. :)

I guess I'll fuck with this world. Consequences be damned. First objective is stopping Ultear.

Knowing Fairy Tail, it's a given that no one here will have bad endings. But if I stop Ultear from casting that spell, then it'll mean the death of Gray since he literally got headshotted. Yikes. Though I don't remember if anyone else was killed before Ultear saved them. Uh-oh, my first problem after arriving in the world of power equals friendship!

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I fought against the members of Fairy Tail and they whooped my ass with the power of friendship.

But of course, that's not possible.

At least, I hoped so...

Damn this world.

After everything that transpired in the war against Alvarez, you can't dispute the fact that the power of friendship in this world is undoubtedly a form of power. Thanks a lot, Mashima!

Ehem, anyways.

I can worry about that later, for now, the problem I have to worry about is who else gets killed besides Gray?

Of course, the simplest solution that one could come up with if they were in my position is: "Eh, the power of friendship will revive them. No problemo!"

But since I'm the one that's here. I'd like it if important characters were to stay alive so I can watch from the sidelines and see what I can change.

Looking up, I saw more dragons stomp out from the gate.

What was the gate called again?

Portal?

No, that's a game name.

Uh...

The Moon Gate?

Eh? When did everything get so dark?

Was I so lost in my thoughts that the battles were already finished?

No way, right?

Oh, wait. My head just got stuck in a building.

False alarm.

Yanking my head out of the stone building with pure force, I could see the dragons stomping in a straight line behind each other away from the gate. Exactly how they were portrayed in the show.

Taking a deep breath, I cast Calm on myself once more while summoning Dragonsbane from my inventory.

Lightning flickered around the blade of the katana as it felt weightless in the palm of my hand.

I couldn't help but be mesmerized by its beauty. What a wonderful blade! Too bad it could only sell for like a thousand gold in-game depending on your Speech level. Tch, cheapskates.

Now, let's see if I can leap over to the dragons. I mean, since I was able to twist my arm into a Twizzler with raw strength alone, it shouldn't be too far-fetched. Right? Right?!

Alright, let's go.

Squatting down while leaning forward a bit, I pushed off of the ground with as much force as I could possibly muster, and my god, I think I overdid it.

In an instant, I shot straight towards the dragons at such a speed that the buildings around me were a blur.

"I'm sure I didn't shout Wuld Nah Kest! W-Wait, f-fuuuuck!"

A mistake was made on my part as I unintentionally used Whirlwind Sprint mid-flight, which only gave me another huge speed boost.

However, an exhilarating feeling washed over me as I glided through the sky towards the dragons.

"What is this thrilling feeling? Why am I feeling like this?"

A second later, I soared over the dragons before redirecting myself back in their direction, a move I never knew I could do.

"Is it because I know there's nothing in this world that can endanger me?"

I landed on top of the blue dragon, and simply settled for using Dragonrend on it. My first target is the one who's in the front.

"JOOR ZAH FRUL!"

I then leaped over to the dragon in the front and swung Dragonsbane.

"Or is it because I'm feeling the thrill of a battle?"

Little did I know, a huge grin was plastered on my face behind the Nightingale Hood as Dragonsbane connected with the scales of the dragon, easily piercing through.

"Say goodbye to your first time-traveling dragon, Future Rogue!" I shouted, running forward with Dragonsbane behind me, slicing upwards into the dragon's flesh as the enchantment cooked it in the process.

Let me taste the soul of this dragon!

"It's definitely the thrill of a battle."

The dragon roared in pain as its blood flooded the ground beneath it.

It tried to take off with me on its back, but it was futile because...

THERE ARE NO SHOUT COOLDOWNS!

"JOOR ZAH FRUL!"

The dragon immediately plummeted back down onto the Earth(land), causing a mini-earthquake. I could hear the shouts of surprise from the people near the gate in the distance, but I simply ignored them as I yanked Dragonsbane out from the flesh of the grounded dragon.

"A mere human...!" the dragon spoke for the first time.

"Huh? You could speak? What happened to that supremacy magic or whatever that's dominating your will?" I questioned as I leaped off of the dragon and landed on the ground lightly right in front of its face.

It appears the dragon didn't deem it necessary to respond. Understandable, since after all, he thinks of me as mere food. It's not like I cared for its answer anyways.

In the corner of my eye, I saw another dragon come out from the gate. It was one that appeared to be made up of rocks? Stones? I don't know, all I know is that its head is like a square. Reminds me of Gajeel's aspect of magic. Though I doubt it even comes close to it.

Making note of that in my head, I focused back onto the dragon in front of me.

Seriously, this guy was such a cakewalk. I can't believe how the Dragon Slayers struggled. They're weak. Stupidly so.

Walking closer to the mouth of the dragon, I looked up into its enraged eyes.

"Any last words, Mr. Dragon?"

"Human... what are you?"

I laughed.

"Me? I am... Dragonborn," I stated, balling my hand into a fist.

The dragon's eyes widened.

"Dragon...born?"

I replied with a shout.

"MUL QAH DIIV!"

An ethereal set of dragon armor enveloped my form as I took on the aspect and power of a dragon. Power flowed through me as I shot my fist towards the dragon.

"You...!"

The dragon didn't get to finish as my fist pierced through its skull, killing it instantly.

I watched as the life faded from its irises, and its body became limp. Soon enough, a process familiar to me started occurring.

The body of the dragon began to decay as its soul was absorbed by me. Eventually, nothing but the bones of the dragon remained. And what I gained was far more than I anticipated.

The knowledge and power of what the dragon knew flowed through me, and I laughed.

"Hahahaha!"

Indeed! Maybe coming to this world was a blessing after all? There is nobody to worry back at home, and maybe if I'm given enough time, I can acquire enough power to go back to my own world!

Since after all, these dragons don't have any knowledge of the Thu'um.

So what I absorbed instead...

Was the embodiment of their magic itself.

I could feel the mana coursing through me. It was sensational. I could get drunk off of this kind of power.

But unfortunately, I couldn't drown in this feeling forever since the other dragons began taking off into the skies.

Taking off my Nightingale Hood, my blonde hair danced with the wind as I watched the dragons cause destruction with just the flap of their wings alone.

"Truly marvelous... I suppose it's about time for the real characters to take action. Let's see how you all fare with one dragon missing."

3rd Person POV:

The tremors could even be felt inside the palace, it shook the foundation itself as debris fell from the ceiling which had already taken a beating from the prior battle. It was a ridiculous showcase of power from the dragons.

Meredy, feeling it, couldn't help but look up in surprise while voicing her thoughts, "These tremors are... don't tell me!"

She directed her gaze towards Natsu and Ultear.

"But we can't leave just yet. We have to save Natsu," she thought.

Natsu was currently sinking into the shadows, the work of Future Rogue, as Ultear held onto his arm; struggling to keep him from sinking completely.

"Natsu, wake up!" Ultear broke the silence, and upon seeing that Natsu was still unresponsive, she looked around hoping to figure out a way to get him out of his current predicament, "What can we do to help him?"

Not even a second later, Ultear felt a strong hand on her shoulder. Looking down, she saw it was Natsu. Slowly, he began to move, a determined look on his face.

"I have to go," Natsu spoke in a serious tone, standing up effortlessly from the shadows while using Ultear's shoulder as a support, "I made a promise... to protect the future!"

Now fully out from the shadows, Natsu began running down the hall, leaving behind Ultear and Meredy. The two of them stared at his back before glancing at each other.

As their eyes met, Meredy nodded in understanding.

They have to get moving. There's no time to sit and gawk.

Meanwhile, at the Eclipse Gate, Lucy was struggling to figure out a way to close it. The moment the gate opened, she had realized the grave mistake they had made. If they didn't get the gate closed in time, a swarm of 10,000 dragons will wreck havoc. She had made a promise to her future self, a promise to protect the future!

"Lucy!" Happy yelled, "You have to get that gate shut!"

"JOOR ZAH FRUL!"

"What was that?!" Lucy thought, one eye shut as she continued to struggle on closing the gate, but then she was forced to hold her ground as the entire city trembled from an impact not too far from where they were.

"A dragon fell from the sky!"

"Dragon?!" Lucy muttered.

However, she had no time to dwell on it since the Rock Dragon let out an ear-piercing roar towards the kingdom's soldiers.

Arcadios, noticing Lucy's struggle, realized what was needed in order to close the Eclipse Gate.

"We need more Celestia Spirit power!" he yelled at Lucy, "But where can we obtain more from in such a dire situation?"

"I can help!" came Yukino's voice.

"Perfect timing," was the thought that ran through Arcadios' head.

Approaching at a rapid pace from the distance were Yukino and Mirajane.

Seeing her, Happy and Wendy couldn't help but say her name with a quick burst of happiness. With her here, the Eclipse Gate was pretty much already closed.

"Lucy-sama! Please take out the 12 Gold Keys!" Yukino yelled through all the noise, quickly approaching the still struggling Lucy, "We'll combine them with mine, and use 12 keys to seal the portal!"

Lucy looked back at her, "We'll be using Celestial Spirits?!"

"Yes, Lucy-sama!" Yukino answered, taking out her keys, and tossing them into the air.

"Got it!" Lucy understood what Yukino meant, and tossed her own keys.

The 12 Gold Keys didn't just simply drop onto the ground after their owners tossed them. Instead, they all moved as if they had a mind of their own, and organized themselves in a circle formation. With the formation complete, a golden light shone throughout the area.

Following that, both Lucy and Yukino knelt down in front of each other and interlocked their fingers. It was as if the two of them were praying together.

"Celestial Spirits of the 12 Gold Keys..." Yukino started the chant.

"...Lend us the power to seal away the evil!" Lucy finished for her.

"Open..."

"...12 Gates!"

The golden light engulfed the two Celestial Spirit users as they finished their spell.

"Zodiac!"

After the word was uttered, all 12 of the Zodiacs appeared around them one by one in the same formation as their keys.

Lucy then gave one final plead.

"Please!"

As if knowing the meaning behind that single word, all 12 Zodiacs flew up into the air and divided themselves into groups of six on both sides of the Eclipse Gate.

And then they pushed.

Slowly, but surely, the doors of the Eclipse Gate began to close.

However, one single dragon began to force its way out. Both of its claws gripped the doors tightly, using its immense strength to try and force the doors back open. But with the combined might of all 12 Zodiacs, they slowly overpowered the dragon, throwing it back into its own timeline.

And then the greatest obstacle of all was conquered.

The doors of the Eclipse Gate were closed.

With their duties finished, each Zodiac disappeared one by one as a smile broke out on both Lucy and Yukino's faces.

"It shut!" Lucy exclaimed with relief, looking at Yukino.

"Yes! We did it, Lucy-sama!"

Everyone began to cheer, but Arcadios knew it wasn't the right time for that.

"It's too early to celebrate! How many dragons made it through the portal?" he yelled.

"S-Seven," a soldier answered.

Arcadios couldn't help but grit his teeth.

"Seven dragons is still too much!" he thought, frustrated.

"You foiled my plan, Lucy, Yukino," came Future Rogue's voice.

All heads turned towards him.

"But seven dragons are still plenty," he said confidently.

However, on the inside, he was fuming, "In reality, it's actually six. Some unknown variable actually managed to slay one of them!"

He clicked his tongue in annoyance at the thought of an unknown variable running around with the power to slay the dragons he brought forth. He needed to keep it a secret from them or else they'll know there's a chance of defeating him.

"Rogue-sama..." Yukino muttered.

"What happened to Natsu?!" Lucy exclaimed.

But Future Rogue ignored the two of them, "To be honest, I couldn't control 10,000 of them."

Hisui then spoke up, "He's... the one who told me about the future."

"He's the guy from the future who tricked you?" Arcadios inquired, anger welling up inside him.

Hisui nodded.

"Are you saying this was your aim all along?" Lucy asked.

"Indeed," Future Rogue answered while raising his arms up, "Now, listen up all of you peasants! The world you all know is about to come to an end!"

As he said this, the dragons that were floating aimlessly in the air, began to land or group up in the air behind him.

"The age of dragons is upon us!" Future Rogue dramatically exclaimed as the dragons behind him roared.

Seeing the amount of dragons, Arcadios knew something was up. He turned to the soldier next to him, "You said there were seven dragons?"

"Y-Yes, sir..." the soldier answered.

"But there's only six," Arcadios pointed out.

The eyes of the people who heard him widened.

1st Person POV:

I watched as the dragons flew by me in the direction of where the Moon Gate thingy was at. It was quite the spectacle, watching all those golden comets fly around and close the doors.

The dragons are making quite the dramatic entrance, too. Seems like Future Rogue loves his theatrics.

Standing in place, I waited for Future Rogue to give out his orders. Luckily for me, it didn't take that long for all the dragons to scatter out in every direction.

"It's time. The one-sided slaughter is about to begin," I said out loud, putting the Nightingale Hood back on.

Was it a stupid idea to just slay one and not the rest? Yes. Yes, it was. But I'd say it's more enjoyable this way.

It's quite the unique way to introduce oneself, wouldn't you say?

A/N: And that's the second chapter finished! Got quite a lot of action in this one, and also finished this within a day (albeit getting distracted a plethora amount of times). My writing is definitely rusty, but I hope people who were waiting for this day to come enjoyed the chapter. Chapter lengths will be fairly short with a minimum of at least 2-3k words.

These chapters honestly don't take long for me to finish, it's just that I get hella distracted.
