Another school day had begun. The students of Royal Woods Elementary have settled in their respective classrooms, and their instructors have begun their instruction. Not all students have arrived on time, however, as a new pupil is about to set foot on campus for the first time.

A red car with a small, waving Canadian flag on top parks on the driveway next to the school entrance. The vehicle door opens, and an orange-haired young boy steps out of the car. He looks back in the car and says, "Thanks for the car drive, mum."

"No problem, sweetie," says his mom. "Have fun at your new school!" With that said, she shuts the door, starts up the car, and drives away.

The boy faces the school building, observing it. He then takes a breath before finally approaching it. He grabs the doorknob and opens the door. He enters the building. From what he recalls from the letter he received from this school, he needs to go to the principal's office where he'll meet a classmate who will lead him to his assigned classroom. To his luck, the principal's office is right next to him.

He opens the door and enters the office. Sitting there at the principal's desk is not Principal Huggins himself but his school secretary Cheryl.

"Hello there," she greets him in a happy tone. "You must be the new student. Billy McWilly, right?"

"That's right," said Billy, a bit timid.

"Why don't you sit there while I call for your new classmate to bring you to your new class." Cheryl points to a bench in front of a wall. As told, Billy heads towards it and takes a seat. As he waits, the school secretary turns on the principal's microphone and says, "Chinah Zapkiel, please come to the principal's office. I repeat: Chinah Zaphkiel, please come to the office."

"Chinah Zaphkiel?" Billy is intrigued by the name. "Must be one of those weird American names."

It did not take long for Chinah to finally arrive at the office (Mrs. Wright's classroom is on the second floor, and it only takes half the second-floor hallway and a walk downstairs to arrive at the principal's office). "I'm here, ma'am," Chinah tells Cheryl. "So where's the new kid?"

As soon as Billy laid his eyes on Chinah, he could not take them off her. He is frozen, unable to move. His cheeks start blushing. In his eyes is Chinah taking off her scrunchie and beautifully waving her long orange hair.

She then stops and looks at Billy with those beautiful shiny eyes as she blinks multiple times with flattery.

"Bah, bah, bah…" He utters, crushing on Chinah.

"Billy," Cheryl speaks, snapping him back to reality, "this is your new classmate Chinah Zaphkiel."

"A pleasure to meet you." Chinah offers her hand.

"I… uh… I… uh…" Billy quickly rubs his hands against his khaki shorts, making sure they are not sweaty and quickly shakes her hand, shaking her in the process. "Nice to meet you!" He says nervously.

Chinah laughs uncomfortably, weird out by the new kid. "Are you feeling okay?"

"I am now that you're here." Billy slowly leans toward her only to awkwardly fall down. He quickly stands back up, laughing nervously.

"Okay then. I'll take you to our class now."
